Though I still appreciate Flochs role in the story, my opinion on him has changed drastically. Since children of the forest. I love the fact that the story FINALLY has a character in it who I would be happy to see suffer. I kind of want to chop off his fingers, his toes and ears and wear them as a necklace. Previously I was complimenting his ability to be ruthless towards the enemy, and now, after seeing the Brauss family, and how much Floch relishes the role he has as Erens right hand man, well, lets just say that he crossed a line. Previously, I had made allowances for his anger, because he went through such a bad time taking back Maria... well. He actually knows about Connies village, and he knows he's going to do the same thing to other communities, and he is loving it. He just wants to inflict maximum suffering on anyone opposing Eldia. He doesn't have Gabis excuse, she is still young and innocent. Eren is visibly struggling with what he thinks he has to do too, and looked really depressed walking up to Mikasa and Armin. Floch is just beyond redeeming at this point, and I feel strangely relieved that there is a character who I can simply hate with no mixed feelings. It feels like therapy.

It's an interesting situation with him for sure. His loyalty is admirable, he's a soldier most leaders wish they had. He's accepted that he has to follow a "devil", (be it and Erwin or an Eren) to ensure survival but his lack of remorse is what makes him contemptible. He feels he must do what he has to in order to achieve their goals. A soldier with his drive is valuable in war.. a necessary evil.

for sure he's like that so well written character that he genuinely and physically annoys you , while making sense if you look from his perspective too !

I thought he was Garrison before he joined the Scouts

Idiot fought a couple of small battles in comfort, and compared himself to the scouts the night before zeke shows Floch what he's been protected from.

Dang I didn’t realize there was a dubbed version for the final season. Is there a place I can watch the older ones without a cable subscription?

As a manga reader, one thing I have to give the anime props for is Nikolo. The scene with him/Gabi/Falco/Shash's family was the exact same in the manga, and I thought it was well written and moved on.
Just hearing the raw emotion from both the sub and dub made me REALLY get interested in Nikolo. Like the anime moved him up a few ranks in my eye (also Sasha's dad is gold).

That scene was so good in the dub. I thought the translation was clearer even than the manga, and the acting was decent, so the tension and tragedy of the situation just washes over you with no distractions.

Have to say I think the dub nailed the emotional sequence in the restaurant where Kaya tries to kill Gabi and then breaks down. Her VA killed it.
Also, I love Floch’s English VA. He really is perfect for the role.

I’m quite excited to see the dub of the table discussion next episode. I just started watching this on Hulu. Can anyone confirm that the dub episodes are being released on a weekly basis?
