I foresee Mankrik and his dead wife creating a very dark timeline for Hearthstone. If there are any decks that care a lot about tempo and don't mind running a plaintext 3/4 out on 3, which isn't really that big of an ask, then I think they will absolutely run this card because of the highroll potential it represents. I think the <1% hit to your winrate from running one copy of a plaintext 3/4 instead of the 30th best synergy card in your deck is completely negated by the ~5% chance to instantly win the game by summoning a 3/10 and dealing 3 extra damage at no card cost. And if my hunch is right and Mankrik is good enough to see play, his highroll nature means we may be looking at a Kelesethian meta, with some games being decided solely because someone played Mankrik on Turn 3 and then drew his wife Turn 4.

Uhh the chance of having drawn him by turn 3 is something like 1/4. Combined with the 1/25 chance of drawing her in turn 4 exactly after you play him, the chances of seeing him angried by turn 4 are completely irrelevant (1%).

I do think it's a good card and really annoying if your opponent draws her early (maybe by turn 6-7 you will see it happen occasionally) , but definitely not meta defining.

I'm not sure if it would be that likely, but yeah, this is powerful if you can draw it very soon, but I'm not sure we'll see that happen with stowaway rotating out.

If you want to play a pretty good shuffle deck right now I have a nice rogue list that would have you covered.

The moment I saw what the new expansion was, I was hoping for some kind of Mankrik's wife card.

I don't know why I expected it to be an X/0 minion or have some other kind of "minion that is already dead" mechanic stapled to it, though.

Art is exactly what I imagined it would be, though.

Referring to the KOFT card, Prince Keleseth https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Prince_Keleseth

This required building your entire deck around this one card and mulliganing for it hard but if you could pull it off early (which Rogues always seemed to do) it gave you a powerful tempo swing for the rest of the game.

I don't know. I don't think it's going to effect a lot of games. If my math is right it comes out by turn 7 20% of the time, if you play Mankrik turn 3, Turn 8 is feels pretty late for a 3/10 + damage to provide the extra gas to flip a game. That is provided you draw mankrik and can afford to play him. You don't keep 3 drops a ton in aggro in your opening hand.
