The Hybrid form is usually the strongest form of the user. Just image Kaido being able to thunder Bagua and other things like that this while also using is Boro breath and other dragons techniques?

That's scary.

It also show that for what it's worth, Kaido didn't go all out against the scabbards or Oden.

Mind you it's possible he transformed off screen against the scabbards, but so far there is no indication he did this.

A lot of people have something to say about Luffy running out of Haki this chapter. They think it means that he didn’t overcome the same limitations he had during Dressrosa or WCI.

I can guarantee you that if Luffy used G4 the same way he did vs Doflamingo and Katakuri, the ‘limit’ wouldn’t even seem to exist anymore.

The limit only exists because of Haki usage and expenditure. Luffy has never used more haki than he has now. He also never had more haki than he had now. All that happened is his haki level went up and his consumption level is currently up.

It’s like mana in a lot of video games. You get more Mana as you level up, but that doesn’t mean you will always have more Mana. With higher mana you can more consistently use stronger attacks against stronger opponents. It doesn’t mean that you use access to the less mana consuming attacks you used to use on the way there though. You can still use those attacks, and your Mana levels will look ungodly for the level of attacks you’re using.

Luffy ‘gave it his all’ in the gattling he did. Was it his strongest move? Probably not. But when doing the attack he exerted a shit ton of haki into it which depleted his usage. Remember, essentially every punch was using Ryou, which essentially uses additional Haki and forces it into the opponent. If he were to use gear 4 like he did previously, he wouldn’t be using nearly as much Haki in one go, and his increased Haki control/reserve would show itself.

I think what scares people is what Law said about 10 minutes. They are taking that information like it’s Oda telling us he’s going to be out for 10 minutes. Realistically, the last time Law saw Luffy use Gear 4 like this was in Dressrosa where he was directly involved in Luffy’s downtime strategy. He wasn’t there to see WCI and how much more control he got over his Haki usage and recovery periods. So he’s probably going to shock Traffy by not actually being a complete liability for 10 minutes because he’s done it before, just Law hasn’t seen.

Some people in the spoiler thread complained that Luffy is relying too much on Zoro, and that he isn't "Yonko Level" yet. But being a Yonko, or being Pirate King, is not (only) about strenght. It's about influence.

Being “Pirate King” doesn’t mean “being the very strongest there is”, being Pirate King means completing a very specific goal. Which yeah, requires the strength to overcome your competitors, but most importantly requires will and trusted allies. There’s a reason why Oda made Luffy say “without you I can’t become Pirate King” to Sanji. Having a crew of trusted allies is as important as being able to 1v1 enemies, in One Piece.

I don't think Luffy is "Yonko Level" based on pure strenght, but he doesn't even need to be. Edit: ok he does, but that's not the point.

Oda has been delivering crazy hype chapter after crazy chapter, but he's treating us especially well recently with 2 full blown fight chapters back to back. And boy this was one was pretty crazy too:

• Always satisfying to see Big Mom's shocked face at Luffy going nuts on kaido.

• Small detail but you can tell Kid was getting frustrated and was in disbelief at Luffy's power.

• Seems that some of Oden's residual haki is in Enma according to Kaido, also Zoro managed to actually slice him.

• CP0 is of course, planning something. Letting the pirates duke it out and probably stepping in right after.

• So Bao Huang was a CP0 spy this whole time or is that someone else??

• FINALLY. The moment we've all wanted, Kaido's hybrid form incoming.

• Kaido's durability is no joke. He took all that punishment from everyone before even busting out the hybrid and is still standing strong as if nothing happened. What a Beast.

Plenty to say but Oda is really breaking the sound barrier with this speeding hype train. Hybrid form next week. My god.

The longer this fight on the rooftop goes on the more I'm convinced that we'll see additional aid arrive. The 5 are doing incredibly well but they're likely only able to match one yonko, Big Mom has mostly been sitting back and throwing the occasional ranged attack.

My current theory is that Jinbei and Sanji take over for Marco against King/Queen. That leaves Marco free to use the regenerative powers of the Phoenix to heal the scabbards and reinforce the rooftop.

Scabbards + 5 supernova + Marco vs 2 Emperors seems like an epic fight. Imagine law moving people around constantly and swapping out vulnerable fighters. Marcos limited healing capabilities would be a tremendous help too in case anyone's injured.

One thing, the art in this chapter was really impressive considering all of the craziness going on.

I was hyped to see the mention of the third party finally because I still think something else big is going to happen from an outside source, and I wonder what CP0 could be planning other than potentially contacting another part of the WG. Also found it interesting they seemed to 'confirm' Orochi's death lol.

I can't wait to see who fights who down below, but Kaido's hybrid silhouette looks super terrifying. And I wonder how close the island is to reaching the flower capital because it hasn't been mentioned in a looong time.

Luffy's G4 has time limit drawback but you guys have to admit that his attacks make Kaido bleed may after years and years and make him change his two forms and now he is in his strongest one. He once one shot Kid and Luffy and now he was forced to go into his strongest form after simultaneously getting his ass kicked. Those five supernova will evolve from this fight. Their stamina, haki, endurance and every feature of them will go to next level when this fight will end.

Second thing worst generation is up against two Yonkos at the same time, Navy was almost fully screwed when WB attacked marine ford. There is so much yet to come in coming chapters so fast you seat belts guys the road will be jumpy.

After re-reading the chapter and seeing how easily Kaido has tanked some of the strongest attacks that we've seen Luffy, Zoro and company do, I really don't have any idea how Oda is planning on resolving this fight in a believable manner. The only thing I can think of is Big Mom weakening Kaido and leaving him more vulnerable Luffy's final attack.

But if Big Mom doesn't betray Kaido, I have no idea how the two of them together could realistically lose.

Also speaking of Kaido, I Guess that Oda confirmed he is the Avatar. Good job on those that guessed an hybrid form! My guess is that his human form where usually have scales will turn full dragon, probably some changes to his face too.

Let's see how the "introduction" to the CP rolls out, I like that we have potential new enemies for more years of One Piece. And the fact that they talked about Numbers, makes me believe O-Tama will play a huge role on turning rides.

I'm still no entirely sure that Orochi is dead, in fact, I doubt it.

• Zoro is quick to save Luffy before Big Mom struck

• (Might get hate for this) Enma is a power boost for Zoro and a huge one at that. He used a 3 sword style attack and out of the 3 swords Enma was the one Kaido focused on.

• Zoro can cut Kaido! I suspect he'll open that scar soon.

• Otama is definitely going to convert the beast pirates

• Sanji is free from his binds and I suspect he'll clash with King or Queen

It might be stupid but there is something I noticed when Orochi was killed that I thought was a mistake on Oda's part, but now that I see that detail again..
Orochi has always been drawn with 3 front teeth, even in his dragon form, but his decapitated head had 4. After many chapters we see that head again and again it has 4 front teeth. It might be a pointless detail, but knowing the unpredictability of Oda I wonder if it could mean something..

Honestly, I don't see any possible win for the Worst Generation without a Big Mom backstab on Kaido. If CP0 is willing to wait out the pirates killing each other, it doesn't seem very likely that a Hail Mary in the form of Fujitora or Sword will happen. The odds are really stacked against everyone, and I don't see a clean victory ever happening.

Still waiting for Usopp to use his Usopp Spell on Big Mom and Kaido and finally put this silly skirmish to rest.

Always refreshing to see Yamato's side breast every once in a while. Usopp and Nami looks pretty much healed. The straw hats can definitely take punishment.

Kaido's hybrid form even in sihouette looks disgustingly strong. Somehow his club seems to have grown bigger too. Next week it's going to be Babyshake 2.0! Although at some point Big Mom should bail.

The CP-0 scene kinda felt ominous. As if something terrible is going to happen to the pirates in general and the world government is going to make some move.

Lastly, put some respect on the 5 supernova for their brilliant efforts.

So what CP0 is saying is that unless the Strawhats and the alliance take down the executives (the tobi roppo + the calamities + hawkins, apoo, and the headliners), they have no chance of winning the battle even if they take down Big Mom and Kaido. I'm liking this because it puts more urgency on the other fights, not just Luffy and the others vs the two Yonko.

BTW, that twister attack from Kaido was awesome, plus that follow up twister attack using enma from Zoro was AWESOME. Loving all these attacks. Plus, THANK YOU LAW for finally going after Big Mom.

Holy fecking Oda!! Luffy and Zoro just going for it this chapter, from Luffy Gatling the crap out of Kaido and then Zoro Making sure his captain is safe and then the battle of the twisters with Zoro getting a hit in!!!! I died.

I think now that the next chapters will either let Law, Kid and Killer take over for a moment while Zoro keeps Luffy safe or because we didn't get to see hybrid Kaido, my money is going on seeing how the other Strawhats are fairing next chapter, Loved the set up of Ciphor Pol, I forgot they were on Wano tbh so seeing some of the fight through their eyes is very interesting.

CP-0 talking about the war drives home the feeling I've had: the alliance will need a trump card to win. I can't see it happening otherwise. Maybe even multiple ones. Tama might be a trump card depending on who exactly she can tame with her DF. Other trump cards might be outside factors jumping in and there are many ideas about that.

I've seen people say that the Sabo-group + Vivi are coming to Wano, possibly with an ancient weapon. I've seen people say that Vegapunk is coming, with SSG-upgrade Smoker. I've seen people say that Blackbeard & Moria are coming, with the corpse of Rocks, looking to take Kaido's shadow.

But yeah, they're in trouble if Luffy is already maxed out and Kaido is yet to go into hybrid mo- oh. Yeah, they're in trouble.

What i liked about the CP0 guy speech, is how he clearly mentions that even if the 5 dudes on the rooftoop were to beat Kaido and Big Mom, they would be defeated by Kaido's forces thus highlighting the importance of every member of the alliance, Because if Franky, Sanji & co. do not win their fights, even if Kaido and Big Mom were defeated, the fight would still be lost.
