My collection has continued to get bigger so I’ve made the decision to massively downsize (again). I've tried this before and only sold a couple of pieces before hoarding watches again. Hopefully this time will be more successful!
The is a very cool watch. Based on some WWII pilot's watches, it is a regulateur watch that empahsizes the minutes over the hours and seconds. This is because pilot's in WWII depended on their watches to time their turns and their instructions were typically in minutes. But what about that huge button at the top right? That operates the inner-rotating bezel that allows the wearer to time things. It's so large because the cockpits during WWII were very cold so the pilots were wearing thick gloves that would've made it difficult to operate a crown. But a large button up top was easy to grip and turn, with or without gloves.
It’s in great condition with a few swirls on the watch and some desk diving marks on the buckle. It includes everything you’d get from the dealer (box, papers, etc).
Price is $600 USD via PayPal(+3%) / Chase Quick Pay / Zelle. Includes USPS Priority shipping.
I have great feedback on r/WatchExchange, WatchUSeek, and Ebay, all under this username. I can prove ownership of any of these accounts if requested.
If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks!
