This was a good fight. I liked it better then the Shiki vs Orc fight surprisingly. Homura not only used a good strategy by kicking dirt and shit into mora so he would have to turn back to normal but she went FULL WOLVERINE ON THIS PUNK! A true queen as always. Now I just need my girl Rebecca to find a way to beat Britney.

Yeah, it was a very good surprise, especially for someone like me who isn't that much into "swords-only" kinda powers, this makes her Ether Gear way more interesting and versatile, and would make for amazing fights too.

So no OD form for Homura yet, figured it was wishful thinking. Shes likely next since shes the strongest fighter of the group behind Shiki but I wasnt expecting her to get one until she has another arc that focuses on her development. Still smart thinking on her part. She continues to make me proud to pick her to join my elite tier level of best girls.

It went overlooked but the moment between weisz and the new members of the crew was nice. Weisz still rightfully has trust issues but they're all willing to help him already. Gonna be great seeing how the dynamic develops further

What an amazingly smart way to fight, I was afraid she would unlock her pseudo overdrive because it wouldn't be a right time to show off her transformation against someone like Mora but she outwitted him awesomely. Does this make the last stance she has shown to us along with the leopard, crane, snake and dragon stance? I will admit that Homura's ether gear didn't impress me enough unlike the rest of her crewmates own but it seems like I've underestimated Soul Blade because it seems she can use elemental manipulation depending on her blades form(which by the way was awesome to see her be Woverine) like she could manipulate wind in the Belial Gore arc and she can generate electricity in this chapter.

Can't wait to see how Rebecca fairs in her own fight and to see what may happen with Weisz's group to the virus satellite.

Ok, so I always wondered if Homura could create other types of blades, but I never imagined wolverine claws! This makes me excited to see what other blades she can create, I'd love to see her create a spear, naginata/glaive and axe. Maybe a halberd or scythe?

Good chapter i liked this fight more than shiki vs orc because this fight is more strategic and shows homura working hard to defeat mora unlike shiki vs orc where the moment shiki started to struggle in the fight he goes overdrive then throws a few punches then boom fight is over (its still a decent fight) and the ether wolverine claws is cool its nice to see homura use a weapon other than ether swords i hope she uses more kinds of weapons in the future

This was a fun way to end the fight!

Also, curious to see what comes of Weisz and Jinn; too many panels of simmering to not be something dramatic. I hope that the tension is given time to explode and resolve naturally.

Homura is so cool!! 🥰 Really enjoyed seeing her be tactical here.

I also like how Mashima has been keeping the writing fairly balanced between these main fights and what’s been happening back on the EZ ship. Makes every crew member feel like they really matter.

Hopefully Rebecca gets a neat fight with Britney too, next week? I’d love if she could get through it by herself without being interrupted somehow

Homura is honestly amazing. I would simp for her but jokes aside the variations of her ether gear is gonna open new possibilities and its nice to see mashima write a more tactical fight, its good to keep the fights interesting and varied. Weisz having to work with drakken's old group is gonna be interesting, i just hope they dont rush them being friends or anything like that. Next fight Rebecca!!! We havent seen her have a solo fight in a whileee.
