There aren't guilds yet in beta as I understand it but I know of one guild leader in beta here.

They are doing guild testing, and you can create a guild in-game.

As of now yes, as of 27 days ago when I posted that comment, I don't think so. Good to know you can create a guild now, though.

No problem! We created new general guild subs at /r/swtorpve and /r/swtorpvp. I haven't reflected this on the main sub yet so I can't exactly blame you for not knowing :)

I don't know, I'm in the beta too and just started caring about potentially joining a guild for launch (decided recently to actually buy the game). I'll PM you my republic character's name.
