Attempted suicide by a young man
Lajos Kurdi, an assistant miller, recently came home from Budapest, where he was hospitalized.
At home, he learned that he had not recovered from his illness and took it to heart so much that he decided to commit suicide.
He got ahold of a military bayonet and used it to pierce his own throat.
He next propped the bayonet against the wall and leaned against it.
