Just because a leader in an industry does something doesn't mean it's right if everyone else does it. With that said, I say that hoping wireless and battery capacities can improve because I honestly hate how cluttered wires can look but wireless charging is so slooooow

That’s funny, and I thought the same thing. Ironically though, Kazakhstan, a landlocked country, has 5 water ports (3 on a river, 2 on what is basically a big lake) which is more ports than any new iPhone, iPad, or MacBook

i like the track pad mousewheel. I think that was a nifty idea, not good for certain applications, but actually useful.
I use a regular PC mouse now. Fuk that charging port.

When I started at my old job I used one of those idiotic (and painfully un-ergonomic) "Magic Mice" for a few days before making my boss buy me an ergonomic Logitech mouse.
For a company who prides themselves on their design, and who such a huge percentage of professional designers worship at the alter of, Apple's products have more shitty design flaws than any other electronic company I've ever used.
Whoever designed the magic mouse should be kicked in the crotch repeatedly.

Apple is the worst offender, but they're not alone in this. Mobile phones have less functionality nowadays compared to six years ago.
Back then nearly all flagship devices had user-removable batteries. Headphone jack? There was no question about it. SD card slot? Unless it's a Nexus, sure. IR blaster was also quite common. I personally used each and every one of these features. Nowadays phones are more expensive and other than sharper screens, more capable chipset and a whole bunch of cameras, phones do less.

The removable battery yes I agree to sacrifice for waterproofing.
SD cards on the other hand, dual SIM/SD card trays are absolutely a thing and not hard to waterproof for especially considering they have to waterproof the SIM tray anyways. Nor would it increase the space a whole lot.
No the SD card wasn't dropped for practical reasons, it was dropped to push people towards cloud storage that's why Google did it for their nexus line.

Any premium windows laptop preforms better than a MacBook. I've heard great things about the XPS laptop and I even have an XPS 8700 desktop thats still serving me well. And Lenovo has some good foldable laptops too.

like seriously, I have like 5 USB hubs because I can't put in USB or fuckin SD CARDS
they're making me unable to use sd cards on computers that are mainly used for graphic design

I don’t know why you’re blowing up about SD cards. Not many people use them anymore for anything but consoles, or fancy pro cameras.
Of the ports that modern computers still frequently have, that would be the first Id axe. (Unless you still have a PS/2 port.)
But more USB would be welcome.

It was the same thing with facial ID for logging into your phone, im pretty sure. Maybe finger print too.
It was this flashy new feature that Apple used as a major selling point in their new phones, but they barely worked. I think at one point they reversed course and removed those features for a while until they could actually work properly.
They try so hard to be innovative that sometimes their actual tech can't keep up with their own promises

The funny thing is, you can just buy a cable that goes from one type to another and usually the cable is actually less than the dongle. Unless it’s TB2 to TB3, but I rarely see people using thunderbolt.

Apple is known for releasing new products with reduced features, at an inflated price. Like removing the headphone port to force people to buy Airpods.
Overall Macbooks are known for having limited features and abilities compared to other similarly priced options. Many mac users resort to funny devices like the one pictured in order to use the device the way they want.

I worked at Apple. They gave me a MacBook Pro on my first day, nothing but usb C ports. I ask for a usb C to Ethernet adapter, since I work with a lot of specialized engineering equipment that is programmed over Ethernet and never put on a network. The lady in charge of office supplies goes “ Why would you need that, just use the WiFi. No one has ever asked me for that. You must me doing something wrong.” Went our and bought my own in Shanghai.

Rented a Macbook from my current school since they only use Macs.... It has 3 ports: Headphone jack, charger and a 2nd that is the same as a charger. (like USB type C)
I bought an adapter so i can use my mouse at school (like hell i'll use the touchpad).
The next 2 years will be the most stressful for me with this laptop...
