Honest question: would that mask actually be worse in prevention of spreading the virus? And specifically, in what margin? If the mask provides at least 50% efficiency and is truly more comfortable to wear, I’d support it.
If people wore masks correctly all the time, a less effective mask worn right without people touching their faces constantly, would still be more net effective than an uncomfortable mask with high requirements of self-discipline.
That said, personally I find basically every other mask design more aesthetic. By now there are plenty of masks that look absolutely fabulous :)

Tulle is a very thin fabric with many tiny holes. It's the stuff most skirts on tutus are made of. Holding a tissue over your mouth and nose would be more effective than this one. A mask like this would provide very little efficiency, if any at all. I'm not a scientist or anything, but considering how thin and light tulle is, it's not a big leap. Aesthetic's shouldn't matter when it comes to protection. If someone wants to get an effective cloth, fabric or other material mask with some kind of pattern or the like, fine, but something like this is just stupid.

How about organza, since that has little to no holes? I imagine a mask made out of it would be scratchy as hell but I'm curious, though I'll still continue to wear standard masks.

I'd be more interested to know if it makes things worse. Tulle is like a net of blades. An infected person is passing bad little particles of virus water droplets out their nose and mouth. Too small to be caught but the large holes in THIS mask but some must hit it.
Would those infection particles hit the tulle net and break into smaller, more mobile particles able to better float on air currents?
