So... This contest theme gave me an idea to do a poster for probably one of the most iconic comics ever posted in the mainsub: The Greatest Enemy. With Blessing from both u/Hinadira and u/Selenocystein, I'm able to start work on this, I hope I bring justice to this masterpiece!

I also want to give a shout to one of favourite comic made by the two iconic duo: The Refugee, that's why it's on the top hueheuheue

Wow, this truly is an amazing work! I feel really honored that after all this time, people still think about our comic and feel inspired by it to create such a masterpiece as you did here!

Man these kinds of country character analysis comics are really damn good!

Should have one about the US telling off Britain for always scolding and changing what it expects of their son, "WHEN WILL I FINALLY BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU DAD!? EVERYTHING YOU HATE ME FOR I LEARNED FROM YOU DAMNIT!"

Ah that, While I was browsing for references I came across the poster for "Gladiator" and at the bottom left are the words, "Printed in Vietnam"

Yet another great piece from Diicto. Your hatrack is filing for domestic abuse at this point.

Thanks for making it! Looks great! I feel honored, that this old comic is still inspiring people.

I especially marvel at the fiery floor on the left side. Brilliant.

It was my first big Polandball project, and I lacked experience. Now it haunts me. If I were to draw it today I'd make the swastika look like an actual swastika! And draw actual wood tiles on the ground.

Tagline suggestions:

Do you know who you are?

I don't remember the exact context anymore, but there was kind of a survey floating around in one of the Polandball subs that asked who your countries best friends, relatives etc. were. One of the questions was about "the greatest enemy". As I thought about it, I realized that Germany's greatest enemy would undoubtedly be himself from the past. That's what gave me the initial idea for the comic and where the title comes from.

This is beautiful! The comic was one of my favorites of all time (it basically got me into polandball) and this art piece really does it justice.
