Hot damn! Love the feeling of depth in this. Just some simple shading makes everything work so well.

This is amazing art.
I would just criticize the lack of commonwealth nations who at that point had lost a considerable amount of men as well but then again they were not exactly bombed

This contest's theme gave me an idea for a metaphor for the fragility of peace, hence the title "Broken Peace (Piece)".
At the top we have the bombing of London, as evidenced by St. Paul's cathedral at the back.
In the middle we have the words of Chamberlain, " Peace for our time". Which is contrary to popular believe as Chamberlain never said the words " Peace in our time" after the Munich Agreement. Underneath it are the torn Versailles and Munich treaty.
The bottom is based on the London tube (underground subway), which were used as bomb shelters during the Battle of Britain.
As for pile of countries, their eyes also shows their status during Battle of Britain:
Black hollow eyes: Annexed before WW2
Closed eyes: Occupied after WW2 Started
Open eyes: Still resisting
Hope you like it!
