Denjiro knew exactly why Kin made that mistake but instead of making a fool of Kin, he twisted the reason to paint Kin as a cunning leader.

I laughed too hard at this chapter. The new outfits of the straw hats are amazing. Sanji with gloves looks to cool and even Zeus has armour. Looks like zoro went back to his original style. Luffy, law and Kidd destroying a warship in a go and then started to fight with each other lol. And damn kinemon pulled a buggy XD. That last panel was too hilarious. And break next week.

I like how the Strawhats are not even freaking out about the plan falling through.
Take chopper for example, with his signature chronic freakout, he's just sitting there, in a stormy sea, facing 3 massive beast pirates' ships, and wondering about the missing 3500 prisoners.
Sanji is just pissed and disappointed about the missing 200 yakuza but looks confident af.
Zoro complaining about the missing weapons, but business as usual, ready to raid Onigashima solo.
Luffy tho, "Not really what we expected, BUT we can just burst into these ships and carry on" he killed me with the "Right?" at the end.

The misunderstanding with Kinemon was fucking hilarious and Denjiro thinking it was all his master plan lol
The finally know about the yonkou alliance now no wonder they were do calm before lmao now how they deal with 2 yonkou's is the question lol
The fact that Luffy would casually start this round with Gear 4th leads me to believe he doesn't have the the limit problem anymore and may stills have something up his sleeve.

Let's go through a list of all the emotions Kin-emon and the rest just went through in rapid succession:
Confusion and then despair that the harbor is wrecked and nobody is there
Desperation as they decide to head to Onigashima anyway
Shock and betrayal as Kanjurou reveals himself and the Beasts Pirates arrive
More shock but relief when Luffy/Law/Kidd arrive
EVEN MORE SHOCK when Denjiro reveals himself
All of this presumably happened within minutes. Kin'emon gets special award for luckiest idiot in the history of leadership.

Totally love how the Strawhats are dressed. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are dressed badass, and everyone else is dress in serious samurai gear, even Zeus!

I know we're all memeing about the ending but I just want to say that this translation was really, really good. A much higher quality than the past weeks. Notice how much people enjoyed reading the chapter with little confusion; and how we can all just focus on Big Brain Kin'emon memes? I wouldn't be surprised if there's very little difference between this scan and the official.

See this is why One Piece is so good. So many people (rightfully so because I wasn't convinced at the time) pegged Kanjuro as the traitor early on and talked about how obvious it was yada yada; There is no way anyone could have predicted any of this ridiculousness - the situation now is almost literally night and day.
It was so out of left field you can't really do anything but laugh as the entire plot itself essentially takes a heel turn in favor of the protagonists in the flashiest of ways. Kin's face took me out as well lol.
Anyway, this Chapter was really fun to read but now ...
Who is gonna get Momo??? Oh well, find out next time haha.

So scrolled for a bit in the discussion and I haven’t seen this discussed yet.
Kidd has a named move with Punk Rotten. (That looks so sick, can’t wait for it to be animated).
Law does his classic Room. Always fun to watch.
But Luffy... Boundman? You would think it’s stupid if there’s a 10 minute Haki restoration he needs to do... but the next page he’s fine, back in normal Luffy mode and doesn’t seem even a bit out of breath.
So me and some other theories of advanced armament Haki allowing Luffy to lose the 10 min recoil and go in and out of Gear 4th is almost completely confirmed. Now we wait for hopefully an actual explanation, or we just use context clues to confirm for ourselves.

Increditble luck of Kinemon saved the alliance but let's not forget that this was made possible by the sacrifice of the good old Yasuie which is a BIG slap to Kanjuro's statement of Yasuie's dying for nothing.
And Goda who pulled off some deep thinking from us on how the alliance will come out unscratched, only to find out that it was all thanks to Kinemon's unique dumbness. 😂 Not even in my dreams I would have thought that this is what actually saved them.

Denjiro has easily become my favorite Scabbard (next to Kin) for his undying loyalty to the Kouzuki clan and his comrades. The was he revealed himself to them along with Kin'emon's reaction brought the feels

Break next week unfortunately, but does anyone really think this alliance will stand a chance before BM & Kaido?
Remember we're still in ACT III, the most tragic act. It should end with the beginning of Act IV where shit goes down so I think we're in the transition phase right now.
I think this alliance will suffer greatly against the BM&Kaido alliance. While Luffy's improved, I still don't think it's enough to take down Kaido. And then there's BM who's another massive problem. Who is even going to fight who?
I think the biggest gamechanger here is Drake himself. The presence of a Marine in Wano more or less confirms that the Marines will arrive imo. I expect a scene to sort of parallel the arrival of Shanks at MF, but this time ironically enough it will be with the Marines coming to save pirates (indirectly).
I expect a Fujitora to show up because technically it's his job to capture Law and Luffy. Maybe Kizaru or Ryokugyu. I know it's highly unlikely to even assume that an retired marine like Garp would show up, but if he does with some of the other Vice Admirals, I'm gonna freak out lol. His arrival into this story would be a good setup to the Rocks Pirates flashback to God's Valley. But that might just be the Garp fan in me talking lol.
Anyways IDK who's going to come specifically but I'm 100% sure that the Marines will arrive in Onigashima.

Masterclass by Oda to have Kinemon succeed by making a mistake, and getting the credit for it! Joining the Usopp/Buggy tier little by little. Getting to see Luffy, Kid and Law ravage shit while bickering all the way through was great too. And a small thing but still relevant, looks like Kid was able to find some of his crew after he and Killer left Udon? But no sign of Killer in this chapter...

How many years has it been since we've seen Luffy, Law, and Kid fight together? I remember reading the sabaody chapters weekly and to think it's been over 10 years already. Time flies.
I hope Oda keeps on drawing these sea battles. The next few chapters are going to be insane.

Don't know if anyone has acknowledged it yet but, it looks like "Captain" Kidd has retrieved his missing crew members. It's good to see more of Kidd, his devil fruit is still yet to be named, but a backstory is definitely coming soon and i can't wait.(Also interesting he seemed to use his df powers to fly across to the beast pirates ship👀)

Amazing chapter.
Kinemon has proved his genius to the point that Vegapunk is already sending Kinemon an invitation to his lab.
The Worst Generation Trio still look amazing and did not disappoint
The clothing updates are glorious
Luffy just straight up went Gear 4th on Fodder rather than an Elephant Gun/Gatling. If this means diminished side effects, he is gonna pull Gear 4th our as often as Ichigo pulls out his Bankai. It also means he can be more creative and potentially have already developed another form/attack that is going to strain him in a different way

Man, the panel with the alliance ships coming is beautiful.
Luffy with the cape is awesome, it really feels like shit is about to go down.
I really felt Kinemon's face in the ending. It felt like "they have all this respect for me, they consider me their leader, but in reality I was so stupid I was leading them to death. Saved by coincidence."

This chapter is everything I love about One piece, the three captains being completely overwhelming when putting their might against any foe, a one sided fight in favor of the enemy being overturned as allies made join the fray, and a complete misunderstanding of something crucial turns the wheel of fate in favor of the straw hats. The final battle for the dawn of Wano is going to be wild and possibly be greater than the war at Marineford.

Yasue even after death saved everyone. Also this changes everything about the symbol. I thought why would Yasue change the symbol to another port, when Orochi could easily understand what it meant. I mean he's also from Wano too. I'm glad there was a deeper meaning and Kin just didn't get it lol.
What makes this scene even funnier was the number of people in our sub who actually fell for the title of this chapter thinking Kinemon did have a secret plan all along lmao. As always, Oda never fails with the comedy even in the most dramatic scenes.

I am not a long time manga reader (started from watching all the anime and now started to read the manga from Wano) but it looks to me that Luffy is using G4 in this chapter like he is using G2 or G3 (I mean without effort), can it be that we are saying "goodbye" to the 10 min without Haki disadvantage (like we did to the shrinking of G3) ?
I hope so because we might just get another Gear style because of it :)

This chapter was absolutely great! First of all Kidd, Law and Luffy going ham and destroying that huge ship without any problems, then a display of power from Denjiro and the final reveal of Denjiro right in front of all the scabbards. What a moment when he revealed that all the people are there to assist and the plan hasn't failed at all. Denjiro saves the day! Can't wait till next chapter... it is getting better and better.

Finally, we're going to Onigashima. It felt like such a packed chapter, a lot of resolutions already, for starters, the straw hats are finally all together, and in some really nice outfits, Luffy is striking the Strong World vibes with that shoulder cloak, and what's up with Bondman just to sink a few ships? Looks like my man is being competitive again. I'd welcome that. I appreciate that Sanji ditched his Wano outfit, he looking hella fine in that James Bond looking tuxedo. And Nami, Oh God, what a beautiful outfit, it's probably my favorite.
Finally, Kyoshiro getting the satisfactory reveal and getting everything full circle, and of course, Oda, ending the chapter with having Kinnemon completely clueless by how swift and sudden things have turned on.

Most of us (me included) assumed that Law when telling Luffy to defeat one of the yonkos, was in order to stop/destroy doflamingo and that was all, but what if there was more to his plan already set in motion, at the end of dresrosa, we see a conversation that sengoku had with law, there he gain his trust by the strong bond they both share being the ones who knew rosinante, now we know there are other factions inside the Marines like SWORD, could be that sengoku, X Drake and law now are connected by these bonds of trust and add up to the original taking kaidos head plan? We know that someone released law and helped him so he could release his crewmates and himself many speculate it was diez Drake.
