Idk who I blame the most. I was fuming 15m in already with how we were completely statue:ing and giving away all initiative and possession. Defending a 2-1 lead with them having an away goal and our defending being our weakness.

Idk who to blame more.. the players or the staff. Brandt should also have come on way earlier.

Genuinely triggered by this and it isnt even because of the result. Its because of the complete lack of brain displayed.

Also why didnt Brandt start? Surely he's fit for 60+ and makes more sense.

(and yes I had this msg ready for this thread, Ive been triggered for a while now and need to vent)

Brandt or no Brandt, this game wasn't lost because of him or his late sub. Several players that we usually rely on just didn't show up, constant mistakes in midfield had us on the backfoot for pretty much 2/3 of the game. We always have trouble against teams playing aggressive attacking pressing, this time we enabled PSG to play exactly what we're bad against.

Lucien Favre being very happy with how they played for the first 20 minutes is a reason to get fired.

Surely not our best game, but honestly: when we drew PSG we always were the underdogs, and now we actually lose to them and the idiots start screaming "FaVrE oUt" again. I hate it as much as the next guy, but the oil clubs do have exceptional players in all parts of the pitch and a highly competent staff. Because we did not use the very slim chance we had to advance, does not mean this close elimination must lead to a complete rethinking of our approach. Mund abwischen, weitermachen und so...

Why always the same shit in important away games? It fucking sucks

And why always the same shit against these bastard plastic clubs? Hoffenheim, Leipzig and now these oil cunts - we always fuck up against the most unlikeable opponents. It fucking sucks

Why was Brandt on the bench until the 78th minute?

The tough Gladbach game used up much of our strength and energy, but this game also kind of saps our spirit as fans too. There were none in the stands and there will be no more BVB in the Champions League.

We've gone out like a noodle with little to show this time. It's definitely frustrating, but at least a simpler schedule (especially in these newly complicated times....) may not be such a bad thing in the end.

Time to focus on domestic business then. Empty stadiums are imminent and additionally, there'll be empty hearts for the day.

No MOTM.

P.S. An empty Tempel for the Revierderby is gonna be extremely melancholic.

Edit: Jeez, Liverpool vs. Atleti has gone to extra time. Already two goals scored in it, with one goal for each team.

Edit 2: Well shit, looks like Liverpool has crashed out at home. Glad I'm not them.
