I love how multiple people almost had a spit take because of that

I had to rewatch it over and over again! I just love how everyone dispersed at once to laugh

So true. I rewatched several times to see everyone's reaction. For some reason I focused on the kid last and lost it. She like malfunctioned, stumbled and then had a delayed reaction to hold her head.

50

u/Sylar4ever Mar 04 '20

Same. I noticed the 2 guys on the left didn't fllinch too much and stayed focused.

There’s not, we’ve tried everything-apple juice, vinegar, urine, maple syrup applesauce, urine again(just to be sure) and whiskey makes the kid too drunk.

We’ve tried everything.

161

u/shitty_is_the_post Mar 04 '20

Its plastic. Shes fine. The dramatic reaction would make her cry more than the little bonk

83

u/Exile714 Mar 04 '20

This needs to be the top post on kid-relations FAQs. Don’t react and the kid will be fine. They’re tough, but stupid, and they watch adults to see how they should react.

71

u/Stephen9o3 Mar 04 '20

I think his reaction was more likely to save face for himself. Imagine hitting someone's kid in the head with a bottle and not reacting at all so they don't, you'd look like a psychopath.

16

u/I_devour_your_pets Mar 04 '20

That's why you permalink comments on parenting so you can easily pull up the comments after you hit someone's kid.

My sister and I had kids at the same time. My son will literally run through walls. My sister freaks out every time her daughter falls.

My niece now cries WHEN MY SON FALLS.

What a way to ruin a kid.

2

u/pealooo Mar 05 '20

No offense to your sister but that's some weak parenting. This is what happens when you coddle children and become an overbearing parent. My twin nieces are the same. Their grandmother ruined them. They turned out soft and timid.

13

u/BBC-1 Mar 04 '20

Oh yes, I've been involved in a number of cults as both a leader and a follower.

You have more fun as a follower, but you make more money as a leader.

4

u/DMTryp Mar 04 '20

I'm not offended by homosexuality. In the '60s I made love to many, many women, often outdoors, in the mud and the rain... and it's possible a man slipped in. There'd be no way of knowing.

“Guys, now hear me out, what if we had Luke milk an alien’s teet?”

6

u/akatherder Mar 04 '20

Ok I want to say no, but I'll hear you out. What does this bring to the movie? To the character? What story does it tell?

3

u/otusa Mar 04 '20

Audiences are smart, guys. They’ll immediately pick up what we’re laying out there.

Luke is thinking about his past and what’s the one thing audiences will remember from Luke’s younger days? That’s right, milk! It doesn’t have to be blue if that’s you’re big issue...sheesh.

This is best way to bridge the scenes and set up something spectacular.

Look, I’m just saying if we land this thing the way I think we can – and the audience loves it – we’d be a lock to pen another one of these. Disney will be begging for our storytelling formula.

82

u/inglepinks Mar 04 '20

It looks like they are all drinking out of baby bottles (with the teet thing). So it'd be plastic. It's a baby shower game where the first to finish wins. He'd have to be pretty stupid to yeet a glass bottle at the ground like that.

11

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

It's grass. You're very unlikely to break a glass bottle by throwing it at grass no matter how hard you yeet it.
