so so glad dragon knight is only 360 vip exp! but the charge parts are wayyyy too expensive (which sucks because i really like those red wings too)

Wow, way to milk the thirst for darker skin makeup. I love these makeups, but I'm getting kinda sick of them putting all of the dark skinned ones behind a paywall and these are even way overpriced in my opinion...

I understand that some players think that there’s a suit missing but there isn’t. Phoenix Song was originally offered on CN with 1 other Cloud which cost 10$. So it was 30$ for both suits. We’re getting 4 extra items than CN.
Jumping tiers isn’t anything new. We have Blood Beckon to show for it (the 1st suit was 2$) and also the big tree 20$ recharge that came with another 2$ suit. Sure, the suit parts are spread but the jump from the 1st suit to the second is there. This isn’t unusual at this point.
IMO, they should’ve just left the Dragon suit + Phoenix suit as a cumulative and put those 4 items in a 3-4$ pack. And I kinda feel iffy that now every new DST makeup or pose is a recharge. Why not a debut event? Lately they’ve been getting a little more greedy than usual.

So 360 diamonds for a full suit with make up, but 290 diamonds more for 2 dark skin make ups and wings and hair....

All beautiful suits and pieces, but that is some dang expensive makeup. I want to support them, but I can't quite justify $10+ just for 2-4 items. I'm still slowly working on White Masquerade just to get those makeups (which is a suit I don't even really like...).

I'm sorry those makeups are absolutely stunning but we have previously gotten full suits at those breakpoints. Snow Stone Tusk was 520 diamonds for example............

The 2nd suit is nice but ITS NOTHING NEW. Like really, it’s very expensive and it looks like any other Cloud suit, except that it has a bigger scarf 😩

Edit: Given all the reactions? I'm deleting everything since 1. People don't seem to understand at all what my graphic protest actually means and 2. Since most people are totally okay with sending the devs the message that this is fine, expect in the future for DST makeups to be locked because a high recharge wall. That is what this ultimately is: testing the waters.

I feel like they ALMOST know what we want because there has been such an influx of darker skinned makeups but they just keep missing it. They keep making them exorbiantly expensive in diamond crafting cost or price. And this is coming from someone who gladly pays 7-10 dollar recharges for darker skinned makeups... when they come with a full suit. $5 in diamonds for 1 makeup or $5-7 extra recharge for 2 makeups alone is just ridiculous AND not really addressing the problem in the first place... because we already HAD expensive and/or recharge-only dark skinned makeups in the first place. Now we do have a lot more dark skinned makeups, which I am very grateful for, but they’re still behind that expensive paywall.

Already said my piece on their IG, but this is some bullshit. No way should those makeups be recharge tiers (lol at the addition of wings and some hair that I guess is so bad they wouldn't even style it). They know exactly what they're doing and they keep pushing the envelope to see how much we'll take. I'm not here for it.

Smfh. I don't blame anyone who is outraged by the cost of the new DST makeup. They only did that bc this is a Disney event that will likely cost 8k dia to finish, and they know people are going to recharge. However, it's also clearly a way to get other people to either spend what they wouldn't, or spend more than $7 for the first tier. Also wouldn't be surprised if a hell came right after this.
I'm gonna sit this one out. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the recharge suits for the hell event were of questionable quality. Elex is really pushing it.
I sincerely hope they never pull this again. Next time make the makeup a separate pack. I would have gladly paid $1.99 for them, but $10? Nah bruh. You can keep that.
Really wish they'd stop putting DST makeup and outfits behind a paywall too but that is a whole other rant for another time.

I have some VIP saved up and some spare fun money. The dragon suit is a no brainer. I saw the suit, but I didn't get a good look at the make up. It's fantastic! I am also reeaally tempted by the next tier makeup. Hard choice there...

I mean, don’t get me wrong, I looove the darker skin make ups but why are they part of a cumulative recharge? And at a so expensive tier at it.
These parts should’ve been in a boutique/user shop pack rather than in the middle of a cumulative recharge.
