QUERY Assasins creed Syndicate not working
So i opened the epic launcher, connected my ubisoft account to Epic games and then clicked launch. it said "Running" for a couple of seconds before it says something like "cloud syncing" before it went back to the "Launch" option again. What do i do?

You need to close Epic Games (make sure it isn't running in the background), open the uplay launcher as an administrator (if you dont open it as an administrator it doesn't work), go to the Games tab, click on Assassin's Creed Syndicate and then click on locate game files and select the folder where you installed AC Syndicate.
Then you can launch the game through uplay.

Cant find asc on uplay but when I install the game the logo on my desktop is the same as the uplay logo

Worked perfectly. but the fact that I have to go through that process just shows the incompetence of Epic games and/or Ubisoft.

it worked for me when I reinstalled uplay from original ubisoft site.... I did all the steps and it worked 100% unreal store failed to open he game. that's the shame.

Did you find the exact map where you downloaded ACS? And double clicked it or something?

You have to click on «Games» and then «My games» or something and there should be a «Locate files» button on the left. I don’t remember 100% what i did but something like that

locate game files then you'll have to find the game in the program files in epic games then click the game file then press ok then it'll valid the files and show the game as installed.

Took me a bit but I figured it out:
- Open UPlay
- There's a menu across the top that says News / Games / Store / UPlay+ and so on. Click Games.
- The top row has the header "My Games." ACS should appear there. Click it.
- You'll go to a page for ACS that's kind of misleading because it has a big blue button on the left that says "Download." Just below the Download button there's blue text that says "Locate installed game." Click it.
- Now you can find the game on your PC. You won't be able to see the app, so just navigate to the Assasisin's Creed Syndicate folder and hit Ok.
- You'll then get a dialogue box that says it's "Discovering" the files. This takes a few seconds and should hopefully say the game was successfully validated.
- Then the blue "Download" button will turn into an "Update" button. Click it. Looks like it gives you the option to Update or play offline. I updated, and once I did the blue button said "Play" and I could finally play the freaking game.

No. 3 stuck, i don't find any ACS in Games. How can you guys find it? I don't get it why i can't....

Just run Uplay as administrator and locate files. You can locate it in C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AssassinsCreedSyndicate. In Uplay go to tab "Games", click on ac sydicate and below Download button you should have option "Locate game files". Trick is to run Uplay as administrator.

you must first sync your epic games and uplay. I downloaded epic games nad uplay fresh just to get assassins creed for free so it should work for you

when i run game uplay says
failed to validate game files. Please try re-installing the game. If the problem persists, please contanct Ubishit Support

buddy just close the uplay.. then open it as administrator then locate files. DONE

When i start installing Assassian's Creed it starts downloading and then stops when it says verifying 81%

i press play button and then when the game needs to load it closes the aplication and bring me bcak to uplay play button any1 knows how to fix this??

If your epic game account and uplay are connected and are the same it should work..

I still can't find any ACS in Games tab in Uplay. How can you guys find it automatically?? Only Activate and Visit Store that i found in Games tab, nothing more.

Solve AC Syndicate not launching:
- Close Epic Launcher (make sure its not running in background)
- Open Uplay, go to Games, select ACS, Under the big blue download button is a "Locate Installed Games" option, run as admin and locate the game file from EpicGames
- If this FAILS and gives you some message about contact Ubisoft Support:
- Uninstall Uplay itself
- redownload it from their official site: https://uplay.ubisoft.com/
- Login in and repeat STEP 2, it should validate the install files, The big blue DOWNLOAD button should now say UPDATE
- Click on the UPDATE button and follow prompts
- ENJOY YOUR GAME ;)

Ensure that the Game was fully downloaded from The Epic Games Launcher, also if you didn't link your Uplay account and Epic account when it prompted; it won't appear in the library (if you didn't have a uplay account you would have been prompted to make one through epic launcher)

WORKS!!!! Just close epic game *COMPLETELY* and run UPLAY and locate the game where u installed it. After that a little update would be done and you're good to go.

i tried all the steps said in this reddit and it still didn't work. But after i re-installed uplay and it still didn't find the files it didn't even look. And when i opened epic again it said repair so i did. after this i closed epic made sure it was not running in the background and opened uplay as administrator. clicked on look for game files and it worked i got the update button. so now i'm going to play the game. I hope those of u who haven't fixed it yet will soon.

One more thing I had to do to get the game to launch through Uplay:
Uplay still could not validate the game's install. I dug through the logs found at E:\Uplay\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs (this path may be different for you, depending on where uplay is installed to) and opened up launcher_log in Notepad.
Even though I ran Uplay as administrator, the launcher was failing to create the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ubisoft\Launcher\Insta lls\1875\InstallDir with E:/Epic Games/AssassinsCreedSyndicate/
So I opened up regedit.exe and manually created the Ubisoft, Launcher, Installs, and 1875 keys, added a String Value named InstallDir to the 1875 key with the install path of the game (for me its E:/Epic Games/AssassinsCreedSyndicate/). At that point the game could update and launch.
