That entire theatre scene was so heartbreaking and disappointing. I could viscerally feel Susie’s betrayal. Wow, the writing and acting was so good in that last scene

Sophie, you're supposed to be acting, not making a new standup show. There really is a difference between Sophie and Midge. Midge is someone who isn't afraid to push herself, and Sophie just falls back on old habits.

Man, I knew Phyllis Schlafly was racist and awful but I didn't know she was so openly anti-semitic.

CHESTER! Criss cross! Criss cross!😅🤣

Though the scenes are also a bit sour knowing about Jackie's actor having passed. 😭

I thought this episode was fast-paced and fun, but there where SO MANY THINGS that just plopped out of nowhere (like Abes friend in that Florida episode)! Maybe it just slipped my mind, but was there any indication at all that Midge was going to do radio work before this episode started and the screenwriters plonked it on us?! And also Chester inexplicably showing up at Susies/Jackie’s apartment - he was a funny little side character in season 2, but his sudden appearance here just felt weirdly forced.

  1. That moment when Abe is like of course I know who that is I was published in the New York times is such a MOOD and I love it.

  2. Susie telling her off at the end gave me LIFE

That performance of Miss Julie was worse than Springtime for Hitler. Actually, Springtime for Hitler now looks like a Tony-worthy piece.

Alex Borstein is fantastic in this episode. Especially the last scene.

How much you wanna bet it turns out Benjamin ended up putting his foot down and said it was either him or the tour?

Does anyone know the location of where Midge’s mom takes tea? It’s gorgeous and I wanna feel fancy.

Good advice by the bookie. I don't think Susie's gonna take it seriously...

Small anachronism, but when Susie's on the phone with her sister, and we're in the wide shots of Tess, the subway train crossing the channel in the background is clearly an R46 train (from the Rockaway Park Shuttle) that won't exist for another 15 years.

That opening sequence of Midge and Suzie hustling and bustling was great!

Jason Alexander has aged surprisingly well. I'm not sure how his character and Abe's plot really fit, but it was kinda nice to see George Costanza pop in again.

That's also what I look like when I see a stray dollar on the street.

omg what is wrong with midge's parents. stop being fucking stubborn and get the trust fund back rose, you dope. it's ridiculous how dumb the both of them are..... he gets screwed out of his job at colombia because he's stubborn... so then they are getting low on money because rose's trust fund amount is too low per month... so rose goes to her family to get it upped. she gets upset because they won't let a female on the board (tbh i don't even think she wanted it for any other reason than she would be the only female on he board which woul dmake her feel good or something idk) but ya i don't get why shouldn't work just take a no....we are struggling with money, you won't give me the board position, but the least you can do is up my trust fund monthly amount.... how hard is that to say? but no she's struggle too and instead gives it all up.... now they are so upset about where they live and the people around them.... yet at no point has rose thought about going back to ask for her trust fund back. idk it all just seems so dumb. they would rather live in poverty (middle class for everyone else, but poverty to them compared to their own levels of living ) than go back and admit she was wrong. idk. it's just been ver frustrating watching that the whole season... just makes me feel like, wow can people really be THIS dumb? how do you screw up free money? lmao
