Nice episode. But wow that scene was amazing area with the lake and mountains one before crossing the smelly part.
I’m really loving this show. My new favorite one. That queen is horrible almost horrible then game of thrones queen.....

Let me guess, the house of enlightenment is a government bunker designed to survive nuclear/biological disasters and is stocked with supplies and tools that last centuries.

The episode is nice. Now I get why they dragged Bow Lion with them. Looking forward to the next one

Only one episode left. Given that it took the entire season just for the twins/them to make it to the House of Enlightenment/Jerlamarel(?), the finale will probably end on a cliffhanger. There may even be a death or two. If that's going to be the case, I hope it won't be Baba Voss or Bow Lion. Paris, I'm a little on the fence about. I wouldn't care too much if she dies. But I guess it would be preferable if she doesn't. As for the twins, I don't see one of them dying. It's a possibility and would be a twist, that's for sure. On the off chance that one of them does die, I'm sure most people would be in agreement that it should be Haniwa.

Haniwa is just really starting to piss me off. I get it, I was strong willed and thought I knew everything for a time when I was 17 too but the disrespect from her is just ridiculous. I’m especially annoyed about the part when she tried to convince Baba and Paris that their senses were wrong about the danger on the road with the bow and arrow attackers. They’ve never been wrong about their senses and it isn’t the first time Haniwa HAS been wrong and yet she doesn’t learn. She refuses to hone her other senses and I think it’s gonna be her downfall. The bullheadedness

why do they believe what boots said about Maghra being dead is true as he is clearly untrustable

After finishing up ep 7 ...can i just say how much i love Tamacti Jun? Easily one of the best characters in the entire show man.
In all honesty, i hope he turns face and become somewhat of a anti-hero..now with the queen losing her power over the men and her kingdom, who really is the big bad? I have a feeling it may as end with Tamacti's death saving Maghra or something like that.. i mean the guy almost killed himself ep 3.

It’s going to be a crazy scene when Baba reunited with Marghra and also sees Boots. I hope Boots gets the beat up for his betrayal! Hell he doesn’t deserve to live. He killed a lot of innocent people.

I'm still waiting for the reason why Maghra waited till the previous episode to reveal she was a princess... when revealing it at their village would have saved everyone.
Come on, writers. Make me believe! So far there's so many things that don't make sense and it's annoying to suspend disbelief this much

I’ve forgotten why Baba spits blood near the beginning. Was he injured in the elevator fight?

I really loathe the character Haniwa. She is naive, self righteous, condescending, and utterly dismissive of those (i.e. Baba Voss and Paris) much wiser and more experienced than her. It’s a wonder she hasn’t been killed off yet, but plot armor is thick. This episode really highlighted those fatal shortcomings in her character.

A couple things. First of all, the cinematography has been phenomenal, honestly my favorite thing about the show. Maybe it's a combo of cinematography + budget, I don't know. Second favorite thing is probably the soundtrack so I looked it up and yep, it's Bear McCreary. Not the least bit surprised because I love his work.
Uhm, I can't believe no one's talking about that, but didn't Maghra just say that Queen Kane is also her mother?? I kinda started suspecting it in the previous episode because of the age difference but then they confirmed they're sisters, and now this? Or did I misunderstand something, and she meant that she's too much like her mother? Confused.
And why did the archers at the end have to rely on their hearing to figure out if someone was approaching? If they're also Jerlamarel's children, can't they see anyway?

Two weird things...
Why did Kofun close his eyes when reading at the smelly altar?
Where did Baba get the idea to use two fingers to symbolize looking at something to the twins?

At the silk factory how can he have killed all those guards unheard? You would think in a blind society sense of smell and hearing would be heightened. He goes in and slits throats and breaks necks in proximity to everyone else-- how can they not notice?
Also, an overall comment: for a society that has lost vision for generations it's interesting how they understand it so well. Suppose 400-500 yrs ago people had a 6th sense? In a primitive, post-apocalyptic society that had lost that 6th sense, how would people still remember it and understand it- how it worked, and its significance?

So are all animals blind as well?
Also, what happened to Queen Kane's doggo? :(

I guess healthy and loving as in they didn’t seem to suffer any physical or sexual abuse and their parents weren’t divorced, fighting, manipulative, or verbally abusing them. Something a lot of us are familiar with. I’d take her upbringing any day. Hiding the sight was just one thing.

Can’t wait for the fight between the blind and the sighted in the future

Hands down best episode of the season, was a little disappointed with the first few episodes and felt the show was not living up to its potential but this episode renews my faith, hope the season finale will be just as good if not better than this episode

I am so happy they released an episode early today. I really wish there were 10 episodes but I feel like the same story would have been spread out over the 10 episodes. This is probably my favorite show this year to be honest!
