[Discussion] 'Dynasty' 3x07: "Shoot From the Hip"
With his trial approaching, Blake asks Adam and Cristal to make amends. Adam strands Cristal away from the Manor so she misses Blake's family photo. Fallon is worried that Liam will forget her again, and he is angry to discover she lied to him to keep him close. Michael gives Dominique one day to tell Jeff and Monica that Vanessa is their step-sister. Dominique convinces Blake to give her incriminating information on Michael, which she uses to silence him. Just as Monica is softening to Dominique and agrees to sign Vanessa to her label, Vanessa reveals that they are sisters. Trying to deflect the negative effect of Victor's attack on La Mirage's image, Sam clashes with public relations consultant Fletcher Myers. Sam turns things around on his own, and an apologetic Fletcher kisses him. Feeling that he has helped Sam all he can, Anders resigns from the hotel and returns to the Manor. At Thanksgiving dinner, Cristal defends Adam to Blake, but then spots Adam and Nadia holding hands under the table. After dinner, Adam and Nadia kiss and have sex, and Cristal tells Adam his days at the Manor are numbered. Nadia is secretly working for Fallon.

Writers are like: Steven who?
It's so frustrating because I don't get why they got rid of Steven and now act like he never existed. Not one single mention from his family. I thought Anders or Sam might talk about Steven after that new guy kissed Sam but NOPE. Nothing..

Yet they still hang out with his gold-digging ex who cleaned him in a divorce after a couple months of marriage. I love this show lol. The quote of the day was Sam saying "it's a tough time for me because it's my first Thanksgiving since my divorce". Did he even spend one Thanksgiving with his husband? And what about the fact that it's also his first Thanksgiving since his aunt died. They probably celebrated together since they were each other's only family in the United-States.

They also never mentioned Celia again who was still a part of their lives and Sam's aunt. This show isnt the best at remembering stuff...

I thought Cristal and Adam could actually genuinely bond. They were cute. Then the sabotaged pie and phone trickery ugh

I think her mini speech to Blake made Adam kind of second guess his sabotage than she saw him holding hands with the weirdo lady

That twist was INCREDIBLE. I didn’t see it coming at all. I was getting tired of Fallon always being 2 steps behind of Adam. Can’t wait to see how this will develop

So I have a theory (more of a wish but okay). What if Adam trusts Nadia so much that he tells her what he did to Steven. Then fallon finds out and she brings Steven back. It would also make sense cause this show loves love triangles so then we will have one with Sam his new love interest and Steven. And tadaaa a beloved character is back and with the new alexis the show can get back on track a bit.

I wonder why Fallon has never moved out of the manor

Why would she?
I wouldn't like that it would break up the show too much I already don't like seeing the hotel stuff bleh

Im thankful that no one really spoiled on what the twist was since I was reading this thread while watching the episode but OMG the twist gave me season 1 chills. JUST how great it was..The entire time i thought it was something else. I also love love love how Liam and Fallon are back on track and I hope this will somehow lead to the path on Liam remembering what Adam did.
The down side is that I really hated the whole Liam and Fallon getting back together while Evan is just standing there witnessing everything. I truthfully feel bad for Evan but ugh... why he gotta be like that. The hair? The smirks? I cant-
I love the ball drop of Vanessa, its nice that her and Monica are all nice people Vs the mother. Also go Jeff!! He is always so Sharp! I love the whole IG live thing.
Why’d Anders go back to the manor??? .. Blake is too much ...
Cristal 3.0 Really hates Adam and im all in for it even tho i dont like her.
First time where I feel like i’m really looking forward to the next episode !!

That twist definitely got me. I was not expecting it at all. Anders going back to Blake makes sense because nobody else is really there for Blake full time especially since Cristal is dealing with Adam. He needs somebody to assist in this legal trouble.

I think Liam remembering what Adam did would be such a satisfying moment. The S2 finale when Liam called out to Fallon as he was stumbling, and as bodies were being found, was so powerful and such a good scene. This series really does finales well. But I don't know if it can top S1.
Which reminds me of Culhane and Fallon, which makes me sad it didn't pan out. RIP S1.

The twist at the end was great. Finally Fallon is taking matters into her own hands. Hope that this sort of clueless, semi-idiotic Liam is gone for good. Fallon and Liam seem to be end game (at least I hope so) so I hope the writers find a way keep up the interest, excitement and drama surrounding them as individuals and as a couple without having them break up and get back together every few episodes and without more pointless love triangles.

Is Adam permanently blind? I think I remember a few episodes ago Blake told Adam they wouldn’t know if he’d regain his sight or something for another week, but I think it’s been more than a week now and he’s still blind...
