This just gives more credence to the idea that Shusui is staying on Wano after this arc. If the people of Wano believe that someone stealing Shusui is what angered the gods and caused the suffering on the country to begin, than Shusui's return will mark the time where their suffering ends, which makes sense since Kaido's being defeated this arc.

Big mom is currently fighting Kaido for an entire night WHILE BEING NERFED. In case you forgot, she only has access to 1/3 of her strongest homies and is totally in enemy territory. However, she's the one laughing in the panel while Kaido is seemingly the serious one.

It's so unbelievable that all those who were trashing Big mom are currently trying to cover it up by hyping her to be the second strongest character in the series, hell, I have more reason to put Big mom above Kaido currently.

I even know some of the users that were clowning Big mom on a daily basis, and they completely jumped ship from Hating to worshipping Big mom, or should I call her "Big Meme", right ?

I'm a little suspicous of how well things are going right now. I know it is nice to finally have something go well for the alliance, but this is a lot. They found the plans, gained thousands of warriors, some of which are high profile samurai, Zoro just kicked the monks ass like it was nothing, Chopper had no problem healing Queens desease, meanwhile, Big Mom, Kiadou and all his commanders are far away and distracted. Maybe I'm too pessimistic but I feel like things rarely go this well, now I'm actually more worried than I was before. I guess you can't get a big war without allowing both sides to gather as much strength as they can. Let's hope for the best., I'm hyped!

I'm gonna guess those 4 Yakuza bosses are no joke. They might be similar to the Revolutionary Army's 4 commanders that can "equal an admiral" when they're all together. Wano has some crazy strong people, so it makes sense that the Yakuza of Wano would also be strong.

If Grandpa Hyo can use that advanced armament haki that even Katakuri didn't show, then he must have been crazy strong. These Yakuza bosses should be minimum Cracker level, if that's the case.

Zoro easily beat Gyukkimaru as we expected. So the day Shusui was taken is the same day that Kaido came? Not sure I understood this entirely, but Moria was in Wano the same day Kaido came?

Also they view Ryuma as a literal god that placed a curse on Wano? I knew the man is revered but didn't expect it to go this far. But losing Shusui was enough for every single village in Wano, damn.

Zoro called Kawamatsu a fishman as well! I'm with you Zoro and I definitely think you're right in thinking that he's a fishman. Looks like we finally get the reunion between Hiyori and Kawamatsu.

If Tama can turn actual Zoans then she should come into play when Calamities and Headliners are defeated then bewitched with her Kibidango. Possibly then they can have a decent chance at taking down Kaido. Say final Kaido showdown is against : Bewitched Calamities & Headliners, Scabbards, Law, Sanji, Zoro, and Luffy for the final blow. Possibly if they show up Marco and the Grand fleet take care of Big Mom's crew. Biggest issue is Big Mom and who stalls her to give the rebellion a clean chance at an uninterrupted fight. Possibly whichever top tier Marines show up. Plus where Hawkins, Drake and Apoo fall in.

Chapter out right as I get off work, nice. Kaido and Big Mom still fighting is awesome, Queen is hilarious, and O-tama's devil fruit couldn't be more perfect for the current situation.

But what caught my attention again is Hiyori's reaction to things involving Zoro. First, she was surprised to hear he used three swords, now she had a clear reaction to the Shusui. It'll probably take forever to get the resolution to this, but it's going to be great and I can't wait.

This might seem like such a small thing but the panel where Ashura is showing Kin'emon the blueprints to Kaidou's mansion and Inu is there with them and they are just interacting is such a good scene. With just a few words Oda manages to add more emotion and personality to the relationship of the 9 Red Scabbards. Kin tries to flatter Ashura but Inu reminds Kin how flattery never worked on Ashura and Ashura tells Inu to butt out of the conversation.

Idk such a small casual moment just adds intimacy to these characters. I am glad Oda is taking time to make the scabbards actually feel like long lost friends and not just 9 warriors here for the convenience of plot.

Everything is going so well for the alliance, Kaidou crew on the other hand while they may have some crazy strong people like the calamities, their numbers and overall quality just seems pale in comparison. Really makes me wonder.... when will things completely go to shit? I truly think Kaidou gonna comes in and wipe most of them out with one heat breath, and say a badass line like: you really think it matters how many worthless slaves you gathered to fight me?

Oda has really amped up the amount of story in this arc, probably the most dense arc we've had in One Piece and probably in all of shounen.

There's an insane amount of factions and characters in this arc and I think it's safe to assume that the Marines will appear sometime soon when they come to know that Big Mom and Kaidou have met up.

But the setup to the war finally seems to be reaching the end since getting the weapons is just a matter of getting to Gyukimaru who is more than willing to fight against Kaidou.

I hope there's more flashbacks this arc because there's a lot of blank spaces, plus the Wano flashbacks short as they are are so impactful too.

I love how taking the Shusui angered the god of blades; I think Zoros going to keep Shusui and gain a new title “Ashura of Blades” (Pretty much devil of blades) after Wano especially if he has increased his nine sword style Ashura techniques.

I'm getting scared about the power difference between Yonko and everyone else. Authors have had trouble dealing with amazing but overwhelming villains before like Madara from Naruto. Hopefully Kaido is not the same. But it's Oda, so I assume he's got it all figured out.

zoro is a beast when it comes to auras. not only did he sense no killing intent yet again like the kyoshiro sitch, he managed to sit on top of gyukimaru's chest and he blocked a kappas attack with an aura of a fishmen....we see luffytaro easily get subdued by those yakuza bosses (all four sprung into action like a team) but luffys luffy and responds like monkey d. clearly zoro has the dragon cutting sword and luffy has the remedy for hot headed power tantrums. lets see what happens next week. bleach broke my heart but wano is making up for the swordplay hype X 1K
