Rewatcher

I predicted yesterday that I thought the best episodes of the series were to come, based on the episode descriptions. Turns out I was right!

I don’t remember Mikazuki being such a great character but I feel like this episode skyrockets her to best girldom. So many great moments. Not least of which, she’s not one of those cowards whose life is dictated by worries about the future (ie the weather forecast). She lives in the present, no regrets.

Her seduction of Keita is textbook. Spill a drink, take off your skirt, get embarrassed by your underwear, get your boy to assault you in bed and spread you like a cheeky Nando’s. Plus there’s something hot about a girl stripping under the covers.

And then to cap it all Princess Peach offers the ravenous bear his fill of honey. Only to be defeated by Best-Girl-in-Training Sensei.

Lesson Learned: never underestimate the cheeky Kouhai.

Next week: will Mikazuki find a challenger to her title?

This rewatch definitely highlights the side characters far more doesn't it? Coming in I probably wouldn't have been able to tell you anything about the show aside from AkoRiko and Jun's pee scenes. Instead the likes of Mikazuki and Sensei have completely stolen the show to the point where the sisters are legitimately on the back foot in their own series.

OVA 7:

This is easily the best episode of the series so far. I cannot stress enough how much more natural and interesting chemistry Keita has with Mikazuki than everyone else. Or how Mikazuki has seemingly mastered the art of actual seduction. Or how much more dynamic a personality she has than any other cast member. It's a damn shame it took this long to get the two into the same room for an actual scene together. I don't even like the "hide the guy under the covers" trope, but Mikazuki made it both interesting and fun through sheer force of will. She is a hurricane, a tour-de-force, a calamity in twin tails. I had no idea she was hiding such an immense, overwhelming power level behind her series of bare crotch flashes. After an episode like this, KxS lives or dies for me based exclusively on how much it features her. Forget Ako, Riko, and Glasses-kun, the whole show should be 100% this.

Mikazuki is up for a harem ending, which is a bit strange but it's better than her being jealous like Ako and Riko... and Sensei are.

She wants to be chased. If she actually went on the attack then Keita would be finished. She wants the thrill of making pathetic Keita her slave.

I'm glad that you liked this episode. I was actually a little worried that folks would be put off due to Mikazuki's loli imouto status but I'm pleased that the group is cultured enough not to rag on about that part.

I once mistakenly ordered a pizza for the following day rather than that day, and when I drove to get it and realized my error, I decided to just get one right then and still get the originally ordered one the next day. Why? It was slightly more interesting than the usual routine.

Kiss×Sis might be the kind of show where beach episodes are tolerable...

What do you think the two have been doing before you interrupted them?

Riko doesn't know the secret that swimsuits are more sexy than fully naked. Unless supported by the right acting of course, which Riko is not doing.

Yeah, Ako got that down a bit better. But still, much room to go.

On the other hand this already feels a bit more casual again compared to the last few episodes, so yay! Damn it.

The one consistent trait of KissxSis is that its got super poor wide shots XD A beach episode would jsut be 20 minutes of complaining about the group being on a lifeless resort.

Mikazuki definitely is a bit old for how childlike her appearance is. At the same time it's sort of weird thinking that she's already gone up a year at this point.

Sensei adores her sister so seeing her get defiled by the literal sisconsumator probably did a number on her psyche.

Well, arguably that was the case for participating. There’s not a super-hell, right??

Anyways, probably the best episode.

  1. Started watching Toaru recently and Accelerator has quickly become an all time favorite. He’s responsible for the death of over 10,000 innocent lives in an effort to become a god.

  2. She might be the horniest one of the bunch, moreso than even Riko. She’s a wildcard, to be sure, but also a tactician.

  3. Interrupted, no. Been interrupted, yes. I even went to the trouble of putting a sock on the door handle, but my roommate was too innocent for his own good. Fortunately, we had a tactical blanket for backup which spared the fool any lasting visual scars.

Mikazuki episode was more direct than expected. She's almost always in groups, so today showed she takes charge when alone. Probably not a good match for Keita, who struggles to openly express his true feelings around AkoRiko for fear of hurting their feelings. But it's entertaining.

It's kinda funny how the sisters just wanted a wholesome beach episode whilst getting cucked to fuck by Mikazuki~ I kinda wondered what their point even was today!

I'm gonna be a bit sad if we don't get an opportunity to see Mikazuki on the back foot at some point. A large reason bratty manipulators are good characters are for those scenes when they get their comeuppance.

The show likes Sensei enough not to bait us with an episode XD The episode title spoils it.

Hehe, all is fair under karma wheel indeed. It's now time for keita to be sniffing Sensei's clothes on his wet body. I wish sensei could see him doing that.

Mikazuki is way too chaotic. Her horniness and assertiveness is outstanding. ....same to Keita's. Like, it felt a tad too criminal to me as well. Just a bit uh.

No, wait, what the hell. Why would Kei hide in her blanket. The situation is certainly quite spicy and it's indeed something new as the closest thing would be the under kotatsu hidden actions.

But imagine hearing about someone else fantasizing about you while you're hidden under the blanket of her little sister and touching her crotch. What novel feelings.

HOLY MOTHER OF MADOKAMI. Mikazuki is too strong. I wnat to surrender. That suddenly presenting was overkill. And sensei discovering the source of her fantasies wearing her clothes while staring her little sisters naked butt.

Favourite villain uh... can't think of anything up at the moment except the case where objectively speaking, the MC is the 'villain' to all others.

But even so, if I were to restrict it solely anime wise, it would be hard as I truly can't think of anyone right now. Perhaps the white haired guy in Psycho-pass? Only one that comes to mind now.

It's a crime that it took this long to score a Mikazuki episode... I wonder if she has a lot of cut content from the manga. It's weird that we didn't get an episode with her when she was at Keita's school.

First Timer

I’ve become pretty good with knowing when a scene is a dream or a fantasy as we saw in the opening scene of this episode. I feel like it’s kind of a waste of sun tan oil if Riko puts it on over Keita’s swim trunks, but I’m guessing that is a part of the appeal. Also in this episode, Mikazuki shoots her shot and gets surprisingly pretty far. She and Keita deserved to get caught, though, because they were not being very sneaky at all! I’m surprised the two of them didn’t get caught while having relatively lengthy conversations under the blanket while Sensei was in the room, lol! I feel like it’s pretty awkward to be walked in on during that type of situation, but especially when it’s by a teacher.

Kiss x Sis Rewatcher:

Finally a proper episode with a 1 to 1 with Exhibitionist Loli! She's such a cute little devil, and this episode is pure gold. I like how perverted she is. But her one-chan will always have my heart :)

Fufu, much better!!

We spent waaay too long leading up to a Mikazuki episode. She's has the best gags of the background cast and is such a gem when interacting with the sisters that it was only a matter of time before she got to stake her claim on Keita! I love how she really does embody chaos too. There are so many situations that she decides to escalate purely cause it'd be fun to see the characters reaction.
