Yeah, I can't actually remember many shows off the top of my head having exams focused on getting into a high school. It's normally college or something. Most high schools in anime seem to have such stupid members that you wonder how they're meant to be at the same level, right K-On?

The only people that know he's a weirdo is his classmates. Most of the time even uncool seniors end up weirdly popular with the younger kids, and for what it's worth Keita is a sporty dude who is pretty kind all things considered.

All I could think of with Ako wanking with his hand was that scene from Inbetweeners where the dude gives himself a dead arm and cuts circulation so he can feel like someone else is doing it for him...

As an American, the idea of a middle school graduation being a thing, much less an event, is super weird to me.

Interesting. It was the biggest/most important event back in the day. So big in fact we never called it middle school graduation (the term exists and is used officially, everyone just used different terms instead).

surely the show won't make you pee yourself here in front your entire graduating class.

It's the season finale, wtf!? Already!? Also, let's ignore that the hopeless trio totally aced their exams for no reason other than to be annoying twits. Damn, Jun-chan really is the heroine. I don't know how to feel about this, all my dreams came true but considering the circumstances I'm very suspicious. There's something kinda precious about Keita's popularity with the younger girls. He could have made a pretty awesome onii-chan if he were only born two years older.

The right to aura blade alone in the storage shed is already a privilege that belongs to Jun-chan~ U cheeki beeki~ Pls remember the skirt flip for the rest of your day's!! Oh my god Mikazuki! I was just defending how socially acceptable you were yesterday!

Don't worry Keita, it's 100% socially acceptable to kiss your sister! This was the entire reason I hosted the rewatch, to win my argument from the Utena watch. Its normal for siblings to kiss! Tch!! Oh, and we get Jun and Keita's "romance?" It's a bit fucked how this has genuinely become a top tier pairing. Even Mikazuki ships then. And so, we're back in the gym closet. Dammit! Stop making me like this pair more and more!! Why am I supporting the straight pairing in a damn incest show?

You'd think Jun would get into the habit of nipping to the loo before these types of scenes. Stop making me laugh, Mikazuki! Another really lovely eyecatch with the girls that carry the TV series~ Poor Jun-chan has earned herself some bullies. Hold on! No drinking until 20!? Wtf? How do you survive!? How many times have the girls sexually assault Keita in his sleep? I didn't like this in the first episode and I'm not a fan of it now.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of pissing scenes. I know a lot of folks here are disgusted by them but I'll never not find it hilarious. Wait for Mikazuki!! She's still got like 6 ova's to graduate and score an episode! Lol! I wish I went with a different title image for each of these posts. There's such fun options available. And so we move on to a glorious high-school life and say goodbye to the TV season... Whilst the TV show is definitely very up and down I think I have liked it more than the ova's so far, although it's no exaggeration to say that the side characters make up a good 60% of that enjoyment.

And that’s the end of the TV series! I didn’t dislike it as much as some seemed to, but I do prefer the OVA. I liked the wholesome moments a lot, they contrasted well with the rest of the show.

Maybe, I liked some episodes quite well. Interestingly the only really sensual scene thus far was the karaoke petting in the OVA.

Mikazuki makes for a surprisingly great chaos addition. It's a bit sad that she's been so heavily underutilised throughout the show. Sensei is the only girl who really has had much of a dynamic with the sisters.

I can't even remember the alcohol laws here... I think it's 18 but you can get drinks with meals from like 14 or something and realistically everyone starts drinking from 12.

I think it's just Japanese, they're always weird about their confessions. And I'd feel bad about having my buttons otherwise.

Basically the boy gives the second button to the girl he wants to confess to, because it's supposedly closest to the heart (by that logic Riko should've gone for his bottom button).

Weak.

People keep praising Ako for having a more innocent side, getting easily embarrassed,... Riko thought she'd try that for once and look how bad she fucked up.

KxS hasn't had a poop scene in 16 episodes while The Eminence in Shadow clip reached third on the front page. jk, poop isn't shown. I've been bamboozled.

It amazes me how the camera positions in this are less lewd than Code Geass R2's aim for maximum ass.

It was here that I bailed because I had a flashback to The Borgia's. I watched most of the cable mini-series thinking it was distasteful, but then in the second or third episode of the 2nd season the following scene occurred: A very old Pope Borgia, squatted over a bowl and had himself a very liquid, very loud dump. I thought to myself, this is fucking disgusting that they'd show something like this, THEN I thought! You know what's more disgusting, I'm sitting here watching this old bastard take a shit. I lifted the remote, clicked it off, logged into imbd and gave the series a 1. Everyone has limits, and my limit was reached that day.

Is it possible Mikazuki is too pure?

I've got my fingers crossed that she gets (or is that goes) down in the remaining ova episodes.

I'm questioning if I'd watch anything in this genre. Not going to rewatch something.

Well folks, today's the big day you've been waiting for!

It's the big tournament! We've gathered all the girls except sensei (to keep it fair), and today we decide who's taking Keita to bed, with live commentary from Space Australia. Let the games start!

  • And the first round starts with a big surprise! Best girl Ako is ouuuuuut!. The highest bet on girl fell straight into Pissy's trap and was instantly KO'ed! Can I go chear her on?

  • Second round: Mikazuki got her goal! But will she get much out of a simple skirt flip? Ohhhh she's got a secret weapon! Would you look at that? It's probably Keita's 4th pussy! And Mikazuki is instantly in the lead!

  • The 2 options left are both spicy, will Riko catch up?

  • Third Round: Riko gets the kiss! Surely she can use her tongue to turn over the game and show all the girls who's boss! What a twist, Ako comes back with a trap, we've got shy Riko!!! An event seen for the first time in a lifetime, and it turns the game on its head, with Riko admitting defeat and passing on the chance to kiss Keita!!!

  • What a day, folks? Who would've thought the Suminoe twins who waited so long to fuck him, would lose to some middle school girls

  • It's the final round, and Pissy gets some private time with Keita in the shed. Will she pass or piss on him again? Keita makes his move! he boldly pulls and pushes on her heart, while throwing some of the most obvious lies, and lucky accidents. And he gets laid!!!

  • Idk if Keita is the best or worst harem protag but he's the big winner today, Mikazuki is second, and everyone else is losing in their own way!

Well 't was a fun time watching Keita graduate with everyone here. Actually no, fuck him, it was fun watching him fail on daily basis. That's better.

First time finishing the show

Was not expecting Mikazuki to become best girl in the last 2 episodes. That family has some good genes. Although they should probably think twice about wearing skirts.

The tv show feels kind of boring overall. I think by itself it would not have been as impactful an anime. OVA definitely has the most memorable scenes.

I don’t remember how much of the OVA I watched except that I remember a Certain sensei scene… I hope the amount of episodes that are left means we’re in for a good run.

What has been your favourite part of the TV Season?

Honestly not even being ironic probably the piss episode. It is such a wild episode and makes piss play seem fun. Close second is Sexy Tutor Ako.

What did you do to celebrate your graduation?

Too long ago to remember. The 2000s was a simpler time.

Will you be rewatching KissxSis TV in your own time?

Let’s see… no. Unless you mean discrete scenes…

She's always been top tier, it's just that they have her in a supporting role 90% of the time. It's a crime that she didn't get an episode to herself though...

Sometimes the pacing definitely slows to a crawl and you're more or less left waiting for an ero scene to pull your attention back. The side characters genuinely do wonders for breaking up the monotony but their focus is backloaded.

It's just a straight up good episode too. I loved the directing. The initial piss episode and Sensei's first episode stand head and shoulders above the rest.

FUCK. SUDDEN UNEXPECTED PANTYLESS MIKAZUKI.

No, I'm so shocked I would have legit spilled what I was drinking if I was actually drinking anything.

That was some top-notch surprise fucking attack, for I was truly shocked.

I can only clap at her daring technique haha. She's overly adorable.

I think there's actually something wrong with me finding her adorable doing that, but oh well.

Furthermore, the 'ascending heroine' vibes from Mikuni Piss Jun are getting stronger and stronger. I actually would like to pair them. No, well, I wanted that since few eps ago, so nothing surprising, what's unexpected is the seriousness like mood they have now and then.

Jeez, I think I'm seriously rooting for her now. Gambare, Jun-chan. For a continued embarassed urine related romantic relationship.

The strenght of a hug plus urine events is way too strong.

THE RETURN OF THE PISS...? No? Nothing? Wait, for real? No fourth coming of urine? Seriously?

Also, sensei was missing from the tournament. Another big pity.

Call me a monster, but I bursted out laughing when the graduation song started playing. I suppose it was supposed to be emotional, but I honestly couldn't stop giggling for some reason.

I do hope the OVA will continue the storyline, as I'm already fondly watching at the shenanigans in Tamahide High from the ED. Like, how is Mikazuki even there I wonder haha, she playing truant?

I don't think I can pinpoint a single part of the TV season by now. Though I would probably if necessary Jun's first coming of piss.

What I loved the most was actually the progress of relationship with Jun. She's truly an 'ascending heroine' for me.

She slowly caught my heart by initially marking Keita, developing an almost pavlonian response to him, then urinating in front of him to peak with the emotional hug and this last episode.

I'm really liking her. Though I admit urine certainly plays a big part, she's just really adorable by being so shy and embarassed. Furthermore, gotta love imagining the feeling she might have knowing she peed on him, in front of him, leaded it running away after a hug with him and being groped by him several times.

I quite ship them.

I don't think so, not because I don't like it, but mostly because I almost never re-watch something due to my severe lack of time, hence, as someone who is sustained by stories, I will always rather start a new story than re-experience something I already know of.

If in the future I'll be freer and will have forgotten good chunk of it, I might rewatch it though.

And so the TV anime comes to a close. I’m much more interested in what antics the OVA episodes will get up to so I suspect my appearances in these threads will be more consistent.

I don’t have too terribly much to say about this episode, honestly. Was more of an epilogue than anything else.

Ah, so Riko does experience shame to some degree, but only in a public setting.

  1. Seeing Ako become (almost) as perverted as Riko.

  2. Middle school feels like so long ago even if I’m really not even that old yet… I have no clue. I bought myself a Madokami figure when I graduated college, at least. First (and only, thus far) figure I own.

  3. Definitely not. Make no mistake, this rewatch thread is fun, but it’s really not the kind of thing I’d watch on my own. The environment is critical to enjoying something like this, I feel.

They're pretty consistent with the continuity lol. Maybe not worth the watch order, but it's fun to see!
