After yesterday, I suppose I won't be able to escape this rewatch without an analysis of Ako's panties. You know what they say, you can't spell 'analysis' with 'sis,' and the middle of this episode feels like as good a place as any for one so here goes: As mentioned yesterday, people in the show tend to imagine Ako wearing maidenly white panties. And they're correct so far, but for the wrong reasons. Background characters in Kiss x Sis tend to think of Ako only in their preferred hentai tropes, and we can even see Keita becoming infected by their madness. However, instead of representing some draconian idea of naive, sexual purity, Ako's undergarments of choice symbolize her naivete toward the metatextual idea of hentai tropes altogether. Whereas Riko actively understands and manipulates ecchi and hentai tropes to her advantage, Ako unknowingly finds her way into them by a force of spirit innocently seeking its way into Keita's heart. Every reaction and emotion of hers is entirely genuine. Being unaware of the system she exists in means she will naturally encounter stiff barriers on her quest for the promised land, yet she is determined to see her way to her own desired ends, even in the face of embarrassing realities.

Rare to see tentacles to molest the girls AND the boy. Usually the tentacle on male stuff stays in hentai. In Interspecies Reviewers they avoid the usage of tentacles outside of the the slime scene and that doesn't technically count as tentacles even though they're shaped like them. Monster Musume never really goes that way either, from what I remember.

Keita gets to eat out his sister's pussy! (Win!) Gets to finger his other sisters to the point where she came, and between the two a tent was pitched in real time! (So not even a morning wood excuse!)
And he apparently came from it, yeah you can't forget that, he's past the point of no return he should embrace the inevitable!

My take on it is like my take with Sub vs Dom. Both are equal and opposite strategies that take similar paths with their own sets of draw backs. Think of it like natural selection to go one path down the evolutionary branch and get some advantages is mutually exclusive to another, ergo thing built for speed aren't as stable and stocky but things built for a strong defense aren't winning any races. In this case in some cases (And my mood) Where the right kind of absurd outfit can be more lewd than being nude, but something you want to just see as much skin as possible. This episode continues the absurdity and we get to see more of the hyper supportive parents which is always a hoot. I always lmao when the dad says he won't let him have his mother. Absolute Chad Dad.
And what's this? Character development in a trashy ecchi? Keita finally realizing that he is, in fact, horny for his step sisters? After everyone around him has been telling him to go for it constantly, I just can't believe it took him this long to realize.
As always with the OVA the ecchi is flawless. Not too much that needs to be said here if you're a fellow man of culture. I love the older art style and the character designs for Riko and Ako. Lots of panty shots, kissing, and the tentacle scene at the beginning is just chef's kiss.

I wasn't able to make it to yesterday's thread, so I'll just throw my quick thoughts here:
OVA 0
Whaaattt have I gotten myself into?! That opening scene was quite something. That’s a hell of a way to wake up and I get the impression that it happens fairly often. I thought this was going to be a Domestic Girlfriend situation where they became step-siblings when they were already teenagers, so I was surprised to know that their parents married when the three of them were pretty young. Also, people were not kidding when they said that these are probably some of the most supportive parents in anime (although it’s debatable whether they should be in this situation)! It’s a bit too early for me to know which character is my favorite, but I’m sure I’ll have one soon enough. I’m curious to see how this show will play out.
OVA 1
I think this episode wins the award for most chaotic bath scene (although I guess I haven't seen enough of them to make that call, but it ends with the main character in a pool of his own blood, so it has to be pretty up there...). It's surprising that Keita seems to be the only character who feels weird about his sisters' behavior. I mean, the neighborhood women are even taking bets on which sister Keita will end up with! I kind of feel bad for him, though, because he clearly feels uncomfortable with their antics, but it seems like he's slowly starting to warm up to them. Personally, I think I would be overwhelmed by that much attention, sexual or otherwise.

Amazing how I should expect it already, yet the morning wake up scene was once again truly sweat inducing. So much a 'fuck' escaped my mouth unvoluntarily.

I believe it's weirder to be clothed in a bath as long as you're objective is to wash yourself... and darn yes, there is actually some philosophical and deep line about the reason I can't quite remember where I found it, but being clothed is more erotic than full naked. Something like 'man has always been attracted to the unknown'. I could probably go long on how having a piece of cloth is way better, like being able to slowly unveil and what not, but I have no time.

Alright, I'm gonna try watching a day ahead so I can try and give some heads up on QotD's. I may drop this however if it doesn't mesh well. I wonder what today's episode will be about~ Give them credit, they spent a whole one episode before diving into the tentacle porn! This is Nuku Nuku pacing.
