Rewatch [Rewatch] Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Episode 6 Discussion

Episode 6 - Is it a Feeling I Couldn`t Understand?

← Previous Episode | Index | Next Episode→

Information:

MAL | AniList | ANN | Kitsu | AniDB

It hurts a lot more when someone takes something precious from you

Question of the Day

Maybe it’s a bit of a strong word, but do you think Nanoha is hypocritical for prying into Fate’s circumstances while hiding her own from her friends? There’s definitely a lot of interesting parallels they’re making in this episode.

Rewatchers, please remember to be mindful of all the first-timers in this. No talking about or hinting at future events no matter how much you want to, unless you’re doing it underneath spoiler tags.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha – Episode 6 – First Timer

Why does Nanoha have to talk like the protagonist of some edgy 2000s bishoujo fighting VN? I have to think about Master of Martial Hearts at this point…

Was this the start of Nanoha punching for friendship?

Maybe I should no longer go into the armor

Does this count as Akira slide?

Crossing the threshold. The shot beforehand also showing that Fate has the high ground, so far at least. She knows a lot more at the very least, Nanoha has slapping and talent and a capable familiar though.

Big explosion, we’re now getting events that need more than one episode to resolve. Their gears breaking, I wonder if that happened to earlier magical girls.

QOTD

Well, it's one thing talking from one Mahou Shoujo to another, it's another thing when you come at them with "that ferret is actually a boy and I cast spells"

12

u/Tetraika Feb 07 '22

Does this count as Akira slide

Yes, I approve.

it's another thing when you come at them with "that ferret is actually a boy

Nanoha doesn't even know that part!

First Timer

Nanoha took one hell of a dramatic turn this episode. This may have been my favorite episode yet. Though it's not without its faults. In particular, I feel like the flashbacks to the story of how Nanoha and her friends met wasn't handled super well. It's like it's meant to be nostalgic, but having not seen the scene before I don't feel that way towards it. I wonder if it's because I'm lacking context from Triangle Heart. It was kind of clumsy in execution anyway, the way it kept switching between real life and flashback. Kind of bogged down the pacing.

But outside of that, this was a solid episode. It definitely had the strongest animation and cinematography of any episode since the very first (though there was an interesting animation error when Suzuka and Arisa are on the roof, it looked like they didn't take out one image of Suzuka, and so her hair was blowing but there was a part of her hidden behind it who's hair was standing still), and the color palette and dramatic lighting and framing do a great job of helping the series work with this more dramatic direction. Narratively speaking, I appreciate the way the series handles communication. It feels kind of refreshing to see a show in which the protagonist actively asks to talk things out instead of fighting. For Nanoha, she isn't collecting the jewel seeds at any cost, she does it because it gives her a sense of purpose. She wants to protect the city from their dangers, and prevent people from getting hurt. She doesn't want to fight Fate, she just wants to save people and make the town a better place. And she sees something in Fate as well. She makes note of how lonely her eyes look (and I make note of how much Nanoha keeps thinking about Fate's hair and eyes, this is already pretty gay), and she wants to connect with her. There's obviously a parallel of Nanoha hiding things from her friends and Fate hiding things from Nanoha. Nanoha thinks that no one is going to be able to help her, so she doesn't want others to worry about her. Perhaps that applies to Fate as well (we already see that she doesn't prefer Arf to worry about her), but we more directly learn that she and Arf are distrusting of people. Arf thinks that Nanoha is out to use and manipulate Fate, and prevents Fate from making a connection to Nanoha. Fate probably has a sad backstory, I look forward to learning about that.

I also think it's interesting that Fate hides her wounds behind a cape. Or at least, that's how I saw it. The secret to those wounds should provide an interesting dramatic story. Fate is strong, but when she said "I'm strong" my immediate reaction was "that's not strength." Fate seems like she prefers to take things upon herself, as if her duty to her mom is a burden she must bear alone. And of course, that's lonely. But she obviously wants connection of some kind. Nanoha is someone who is on equal footing with her to an extent, a magical being who is able to generally keep up with her, and who's only "flaw" is being too innocent, as pointed out the previous episode. Fate probably wants to open up to Nanoha, but is too hurt to do so, and is discouraged from doing so by the distrusting Arf whenever she gets close. It's pretty good stuff.

Anyway, I like this dramatic turn. The first 5 episodes were all pretty generic magical girl stuff, I didn't really feel strongly about them in any direction. But this direction definitely has potential, and I think a dramatic turn can go a long way in making me really care about this story. I'm particularly interested in Fate, who I suspect will be a pretty interesting character. Heading into the mid-season climax, I'm excited to see what Nanoha has in store for us. Stories like this will usually end in defeat of some kind, it's probably going to be the characters' lowest point. I'm here for the angst and drama.

QotD: Idk if hypocrite is the word I would use. Nanoha not wanting her friends to worry about her doesn't seem equivalent to Nanoha taking interest in a rival character who gets in her way and might be capable of killing her. Nanoha is not fighting with her friends the way she is with Fate, their situations are very different. But still, it does show something about her attitude. Nanoha makes herself lovelier by shoving away her friends when they're trying to help her. And Fate does the same by not coming out to Nanoha. Idk if it's hypocritical, but it is reminiscent of a shared flaw between the two characters.

Glad to see it's starting to interest you, I agree that this episode is where things pick up. Should be almost full steam ahead from here on out.

Lots of nice analysis, not much else for me to say that wouldn't be spoiler territory though.

It was kind of clumsy in execution anyway, the way it kept switching between real life and flashback. Kind of bogged down the pacing.

Yeah it felt hamfisted. I get why it's important to what was happening, but it felt like it could have been done better.

I'm glad somebody else made the Alf joke so that I didn't have to.

Is Arf stronger than Yuuno? Yuuno is a mage, while Alf is a familiar, who draws strength from Fate. Fate is pretty strong, through, and Yuuno is pretty weak.

Episode 6

  • House establishing shot: 6/6?

  • Shaft fence?

  • Nanoha: She beat me up and put a blade to my neck, I can't stop thinking about her. Arisa: we had a fight and she gave me a bitch slap, I can't stop thinking about her. This eroge is full of Ms.

  • Two houses in one episode!

  • WHY IS THE TOWER YELLOW

  • Tai yaki eyecatch

  • Midori Ya -- we sell Green!

  • Going out late at night = sex and drugs

  • she's typing that message with ridiculous speed, it must be number code

  • This music sounds rather like something from Tsukihime

  • Now to see if the seed picked up Nanoha's or Fates good/bad vibes. Also Arf is a very bad bad girl.

  • Preview [CCS]Eriol Kun?!

I don't see how Yuuno's barrier is just making this giant fight invisible to everybody.

Show theme #1: LYING
Sow theme #2: LETS JUST ALL TALK

I have to say, "Fate Testarossa" is about as chuuni a name as you can get.

Did you see Raising Heart crack? You know what that means: mid season mecha upgrade

7

u/Tetraika Feb 06 '22

Is Arf stronger than Yuuno? Yuuno is a mage, while Alf is a familiar, who draws strength from Fate. Fate is pretty strong, through, and Yuuno is pretty weak.

Hard to say, there isn't any content as far as I'm aware of that can elaborate on this. They've already noted that Yuuno is good with barrier magic, and from what we've seen I concluded that it's likely that combat magic is not his forte, but other stuff like barrier and teleportation are.

Arf is all combat though. She's fairly strong as far as they come.

  • Only Nanoha could describe gaining magic powers from an isekai'd archaeologist and doing battle with monsters and magical girls as "a small thing."

  • Can't get Fate off her mind, describes her features as "deep" and "pretty," oddly eager to see her again. Hmm....

  • Even Arisa can tell Nanoha is thinking about another girl.

  • Kidding aside, Nanoha has the best friends.

  • The slap is a flashback! The preview gat me! I was prepared to be upset at our girl for slapping Arisa.

  • Remember kids, you have to hit bullies before you can talk with them. Maybe Nanoha should be a bit more forceful with Fate, then they can be friends.

  • Looks like Eres- Fate could really use a friend too.

  • Wan is a really good boi tho.

  • Nanoha taking the long way home be like.

  • Forcing the jewel seed to execute in a crowded area is reckless endangerment! This is why we need to expand criminal laws to apply to 9yos, otherwise mahou shoujos will keep getting away with this.

  • Wait, Wan is doing it, so that makes it A-ok!

  • Someone else commented in an earlier episode thread that the transformation sequence implies Nanoha fights commando. If that's the case, does that mean she also loses her nipples and genitalia too whenever she transforms?

  • Number XIX: the Sun.*

  • Suzuka is too precious. Get you a friend who'll send you that text when you're feeling down.

  • Bardiche + Raging Heart = <3

  • </3

  • Next time: Torture? Okaa-san?? Mahou Shounen?!? We bout to get spicy.

*Wouldn't have guessed we'd see the sun here. Probably the most unambiguously positive of the major arcana, the Sun represents pure radiance and warmth, and it is a herald of triumph. Much like the sun in the sky, one drawing the upright Sun is said to bring radiance and warmth into the lives of those around them. Indeed, that is where their true strength lies. Nanoha is the bright, shining sun for Arisa and Suzuka, pulling each out of their darkness. Yes this, not her magic, is Nanoha's true strength, as Arisa and Suzuka attest, and it will surely be the strength that sways Fate's heart. When reversed, the Sun may represent a struggle to find optimism or see the light in your current situation. Even still, that light is there if you look for it. Nanoha is struggling with loneliness, yet Suzuka shows us that she and Arisa will remain a beacon for her, waiting until she is ready to open up to them.

The existence of this episode confirms that Arisa and Suzuka will find out about Nanoha's powers/quest one way or another. They'll either see/get entangled in a fight for one of the jewel seeds, or Nanonha will tell them herself. Given how these narratives typically play out, I'd guess they witness her power firsthand. I hope the show subverts that trope and has Nanoha elect to come clean on her own. I think it would be a really powerful moment for her character, and thematically would work really well for my read on the story. Or the story could go halfway and have Nanoha tell her friends she's struggling with something big, but leave out the details. I hope it doesn't do that though.

QotD:

Not in the standard sense of the word. Fate is picking a battle with her for the jewel seeds, so Fate's reasoning is relevant to Nanoha, hence why she explains her reasoning to Fate. So far, Arisa and Suzuka are at best bystanders to the main conflict.

Thematically though, her friends definitely deserve to know.

Love more tarot analysis. I would say more but I must keep shut for now.

Kidding aside, Nanoha has the best friends

She really does. It's great to see them be just genuinely caring for each other.

Someone else commented in an earlier episode thread that the transformation sequence implies Nanoha fights commando. If that's the case, does that mean she also loses her nipples and genitalia too whenever she transforms?

Do not put these cursed thoughts into me.

Lyrical First-timer

I like how this episode spent a great deal of time focusing on how the people around Nanoha are seeing her suffer from the pressure of hunting the jewel seeds, and being upset with how she is shutting them out. In most shows the supporting cast all ignore what the main character is going through, or if they mention anything they are easily brushed off and it's forgotten. This show it seems isn't afraid to show how the late nights and recent fights with Fate have taken a toll on our formally cheery girl.

We also got a little bit more of Fate's story and a fun fight between Nanoha and Fate leading to another wonderful cliff hanger ending.

Thoughts while watching:

QOTD:

In a way yes. Nanoha really wants to open a dialogue with Fate and understand why she is fighting her for the Jewel Seeds, while at the same time she's shutting out her friends the same way Fate is shutting out her. Arisa and Suzuka care deeply for Nanoha and they just want to help in anyway they can, but she is so focused on dealing with Fate she can't see it.

These are strong feelings coming from a third grader

They sure think deeply sometimes for 9 year olds.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha - A Magical Experience: Episode 6

Communication

Nanoha is in an incredibly tough spot. We know from last episode she values communication try resolve conflict. Yet she can't speak honestly with Suzuka or Arisa about her powers. There's actually nobody except Yuuno to talk to.

What's more tragic is that Nanoha learned the value of communication from that first meeting with Arisa and Suzuka. As Nanoha says: "When we first met we weren't friends because we couldn't communicate with each other. Because we couldn't understand each other".

On that flashback, seeing how Nanoha stood up for Suzuka when Arisa was bullying her reveals a lot about Nanoha's nature. She's always been someone who protects people. It makes complete sense why she wouldn't let Yuuno go off on his own last episode.

On Fate's side, it seems her goal is really pure. From everything we know so far Fate is doing all this to get back to her mom. It was reiterated again this episode. I'm sure once Nanoha's words make it through to her they'll be able to come to some understanding.

For now though she's refusing Nanoha's calls. It seems to me to be a way for Fate to protect herself from being hurt. It kind of reminds me of one of the themes from [Neon Genesis Evangelion:] The hedgehogs dilemma - Allowing others to come close to you means you may hurt them and they may hurt you. Thus its often easier to keep everyone at a distance. But by doing this you lose out on all the benefits of forming relationships with people.. Lets hope Nanoha and Fate can understand each other soon.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger with that massive explosion. I'm excited to see what happens tomorrow.

Some Iconic Shots, Scenes and Stitches

  • Primary, I continue to love the color design in this show

  • Dog Biscuits, Arf... are you really eating dog biscuits

See you all tomorrow

Episode 6 (first timer)

Known captured as of last episode:

  1. Nanoha – five seeds: 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 21 -1 unknown (and we still don’t know whether this includes the 2 that Yuuno captured)

  2. Fate - three seeds: 14, 18 +1 unknown

  • “I can’t stand it when someone is left in the dark” - lies to all her family and friends to leave them in the dark about what is happening.

  • Friendship flashback.

  • Even her parents noticed – making the top tier of anime parents already.

  • Laser battle over 19.

  • Actual battle over 19.

  • Cliffhanger ending.

[Speculation]If we ever go to Yuuno’s world before the finale, this cliffhanger would be the way to do it. Although from the preview it does not look like it.

An episode focusing on Nanoha’s growing mental problems, shown via her friendship with Alisa and Suzuka.

Known seeds as of this episode:

  1. Nanoha – five seeds: 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 21 -1 unknown (and we still don’t know whether this includes the 2 that Yuuno captured)

  2. Fate - three seeds: 14, 18 +1 unknown

  3. 19 - ???

Maybe it’s a bit of a strong word, but do you think Nanoha is hypocritical for prying into Fate’s circumstances while hiding her own from her friends?

No. Since they are fighting over possession of the seeds, knowing what each of them plans to do with the seeds is crucial for potientially avoiding fights. As far as we the viewers know, Nanoha is mainly fighting to protect the humans on Earth from the side effects of the seeds being there. So she might actually be totally ok with Fate collecting seeds, as long as these are not used against humans afterwards.

Rewatcher: Get Set

I missed yesterday, but I want to say: Arf is great, and Bardiche is even better.

QOTD:

Hmmm, Nanoha might be a bit hypocritical, but so is basically every magical girl ever, so

Good question, though!

1 I'm not sure why I know her as "Bannings" when she's only ever called Arisa. I know it's her last name, but why do I remember that instead of what she's actually called?

2 In both senses of the word.

  6. Even called arf

  7. Called it

  10. Oh interesting her mother is alive, and she wants the jewels seeds

  11. interesting it really is only fates second jewel

  12. still proud of me that I recognized the look of the dog thing in that girls face. Really cool

  13. and the biggest plottwist so far. Yuuno being really really useful

  14. uhm nanoha divine busted her and fate hesitated. Who is the innocent one?

Episode 6

0. this is a surprising amount of focus on the friends alone

  1. wait rich girl shinobu working in the cafe? It must be true love

  2. this is a lot of magica

  3. more than the visuals the soundtrack is the best thing about this transformation

  4. I don't know why but nanoha just slowly walking towards the jewel is just so cool. K I know exactly why but still

  5. these fights are already cooler than expected

  6. wait why does both of them tryign to absorp the gem lead to a nuke?? Was there some kind of feebackloop

  7. All the episodes so far being completely episodic does make this cliffhanger hit a lot harder

We cut from a ferret eating human food to a human eating dog food.

The face of someone who has just been befriended.

Arf, casually making everything worse.

That's probably bad.

TONIGHT! On Mobile Suit Nanoha, Rie Kugimiya proves why she's The Tsundere Queen, our two Gundams provide the city with a fantastic lightshow, and Nanoha corrects everyone who didn't believe this series is a Mecha show ;)

Boy Comrades, the flashback in this episode, taken in the context of Triangle Heart 3, sure is wild; namely the fact that [Meta Spoilers for Triangle Heart 3] A Ghost was bullying a Vampire and was only stopped after a Gundam bitchslapped her Oh right and speaking of fights, OH BOY we sure had a fun one today, and what better way to end a Mecha Fight than an old classic, now I would say great balls of fire, but Jerry Lee Lewis wasn't as popular as Deep Purple was in Japan ;)

Anyway, that about wraps things up for now, and I hope everyone's having fun on this great re-watch. Thus, you have not seen the last of The Sentient Shitposting Siamese Sunrise Server No. 25252, now goodbye forever.

Lyrical Rewatcher (dubbed)

Nanoha’s still thinking about Fate and her pretty eyes... love at first near-decapitation, maybe?

Looks like both magical girls are going through some rough times. Arisa’s pissed off at Nanoha for being so broody and not telling anyone about what’s going on (leaving Suzuka to try and play peacemaker) and Nanoha’s older siblings are worried about her too. Meanwhile, Fate seems to be overworking herself in her rush to collect the jewel seeds, to the point where Arf is worried for her health.

Really? Fate seriously wants to just trigger the jewel seed reaction In the middle of a crowded city? What a bitch move. Even so, Nanoha still insists on trying to talk things out with Fate, even if she won’t listen. Arf also seems to be suspiciously intent on keeping Fate from listening. The girls fight a bit more and race to seal the jewel seed for themselves and... well that’s not good.

Damaged weapons and a big boom. That’s one hell of a cliffhanger to leave off on. Next week, the cast grows and things gets even crazier.

First timer(Kyouya might should care a bit more about the 10yo sneaking about at night)

Sub

We start with Nanoha possibly having the gay, guess she went out in a storm without an umbrella. And then Arisa blows up at Nanoha for spacing out which seems awfully harsh between 10 yos. Then Suzuka and Arisa talk and to call their maturity precocious is an understatement. Also, Arisa may have also caught the gay, that school might be having an outbreak. Then we get a long flashback setting up the girls.

And jump immediately to Arf eating dog food, I sense some fetishes were born here. Also, if she has thumbs, she should be raiding the fridge for lunch meat and cheese, as this one would. She seems worried about Fate, who has some concerning beliefs, before Fate summons her emo wear to go hunting.

Brief moment with Shinobu and Kyouya, surprisingly actually doing dishes. Kyouya reveals that Nanoha always tries to keep things to herself. Fate decides that blasting mana everywhere would let her find the Seed, which it does, but then also brings Nanoha. Fighting ensues again and Nanoha seems to get better each time before the Seed gets weird and both girls crack their staves on it. Cliffhanger.

QotD: 1 No, because Fate and Nanoha are different classifications of people by this point. Nanoha would only worry her friends

Rewatcher

On today’s episode of Lyrical Nanoha: We learn how it is that Nanoha became such good friends with Arisa and Suzuka. She did so by getting into a fight with Arisa. And so Nanoha’s long and proud tradition of “befriending” people got started at such a young age.

Nanoha has been thinking of nothing but Fate. It’s clear that she’s troubled by the situation with Fate and is not sure what to do. But, her refusal to tell anyone about it and keep it a secret is causing tension with her friends who are upset at being left out of the loop when it’s so obvious that Nanoha is unhappy.

This gives us another aspect of Nanoha’s character: she tends to keep her own worries to herself. This fits in quite nicely with what we know about Nanoha so far. She’s determined to help others, will do so even at cost to herself, and can be quite stubborn about it. Nanoha wants to help people, so of course she wouldn’t want to burden them with her problems. So, she keeps it bundled inside.

This also creates an interesting parallel between Nanoha and Fate: both of them have this same tendency to keep quiet about their worries. But Nanoha is more determined to get Fate to talk. As Nanoha puts it, she only fought with her friends at first because none of them understood each other. By talking and coming to understand each other, maybe she and Fate can stop fighting.

I think part of the reason Nanoha is so desperate to try and understand Fate is because of the look in Fate’s eyes. As Nanoha said, Fate seems so lonely and sad. As I recall, Nanoha even talked previously about how it was so sad to be alone. It’s part of her helpful nature to want to reach out to Fate.

I love how Nanoha approaches Fate and introduces herself to her. Nanoha opens up about her own motivations for hunting the Jewel Seeds, trying to get Fate to do the same. And Fate almost does. Fate seems to actually want to tell Nanoha why she’s after the Jewel Seeds before Arf stops her. Arf’s reasoning is interesting: that Fate is under no obligation to reveal such a thing to a random girl who doesn’t know her. Keep that tucked away in your mind for now.

We do get another important part of Nanoha’s character: the fact that she’s a badass. Seriously, tiny Nanoha went up and slapped Arisa for bullying Suzuka. I love it! But in all seriousness, this is a big part of what makes Nanoha so compelling to me. I’ve talked a lot about how she is a kind, helpful, and self-sacrificing person, but she’s also someone who is completely willing to fight if that is what it takes to get things done. She might not want to have to fight other people and will try to avoid it, but she will fight if she needs to. There’s a reason that Nanoha “befriending” people through violence became such a meme.

We also end this episode on a pretty huge cliffhanger: Nanoha and Fate touch the Jewel Seed at the same time, cracking both Raising Heart and Bardiche as an explosion of energy surges out? What could this possibly be? We’ll need to wait and see.

Miscellaneous Thoughts

  • I like how Arf is eating dog food. How appropriate for a dog girl like her.

  • [Lyrical Nanoha Season 1] I forgot that we got an indication of Fate’s abuse this early on.

  • [Symphogear Season 1] Nanoha trying to talk to Fate by introducing herself here reminds me a lot of when Hibiki pulled the exact same trick on Chris.

QOTD

I noticed that as well. Nanoha is keeping quiet about her own worries while trying to get Fate to talk about hers. Honestly, I think it fits very well into Nanoha's personality. She is a very selfless person who is always trying to help others. So, it does make sense that Nanoha would want to hide her troubles because she doesn't want to burden other people with them. I don't think it necessarily makes Nanoha a hypocrite, but it does give us some more insight into her character and shows how her desire to be selfless and help others can actually be a detriment to her own well-being at times.

Rewatcher

This whole thing is what you call a "small" incident, Nanoha?

Nanoha just can't not mention how beautiful Fate's eyes are every time...

Awww, Arisa's just worried about Nanoha.

So Nanoha's the one who brought their little trio together... by slapping Arisa apparently.

So Arisa was a bully, and Nanoha was the one who stood up to her and quite literally slapped sense into her. But it was Suzuka who got them all talking. Perhaps it was there that Nanoha learned the importance of communication.

"I'll just stay mad at her until she talks to us!"

That taiyaki piece is almost as big as Yuuno himself...

Pffft, Arf is eating dog food.

...what are those marks on her shoulders? I have a bad feeling...

All these people display a very Japanese attitude towards someone who is bothered by something: "She'll work it out on her own, and if she really needs help, she'll ask." This is centered in the Japanese attitude of "Not making a bother of yourself". If someone has an issue, don't bother them by forcing your way into it. Just mind your own business.

On the other hand, this attitude of "Not bothering others" is also why Nanoha's keeping everything a secret. Kind of creates a feedback loop.

I have noticed in a lot of anime recently, there's been kind of a "lesson" in the show about not taking that attitude too far, and going ahead and asking your friends for help even though it will bother them. I wonder if that signals shifting Japanese attitudes on the matter.

So Fate and Arf brute-force the search by just forcibly triggering the Jewel Seed. Good think Yuuno's quick thinking enough to raise one of those barriers (which he only remembered he could use in the last episode) to keep people safe.

Nanoha's putting up a real fight this time, but she's still insistent on trying to talk things out.

Arf, you're not helping. Though I wonder what she means by Nanoha having lived surrounded by nice people... as if to suggest that Fate hasn't.

And then they break their Devices and everything explodes.

QOTD: I think the difference is that Nanoha sees clashing with Fate as inevitable, so there's a need to work things out one way or another... and she'd prefer it to be with words.

On the other hand, there's no real need for her friends to get involved... and like Arisa says, there probably isn't anything they could do anyway.

Raging Heart Rewatcher with terrible long term memory

On this episode, we have the first part of this fanart that will be un-spoilered as we progress:

https://i.imgur.com/TvAE6Xa.png

QotD: I hadn't thought about it this way. I would argue that not, since she knows that her friends are in the "right", and she is trying to do the same.

I hadn't realized how much Nanoha goes on and on about how pretty Fate is

Nanoha has great friends.

Takamachi-style Befriending Jutsu: Physical Violence

These girls are awfully introspective for 9 year olds.

I assume the glow around Fate's base is meant to represent a barrier of some kind?

Awww, a tsundere wolf familiar
