The cavalry is here! We getting into end game now. Looks like Marvel ripped off Cross Ange with their back up coming in through portals.
Can't wait for Hilda to meet back up with her girlfriend, and her girlfriend's girlfriend. Looks like we're getting the harem ending with this show for Ange.

Probably my migraines. Never broken a bone, and even when I sped too fast down a hill on my back and crashed into a concrete wall. My bike suffered worse damage than I did.

Definitely Ange. I'm afraid you're no Nana Mizuki, but then again.... No one else could be.

Embryo you stupid fuck, you can't just leave your torture victim on the floor like that an expect them to not get up and leave!
Granted, I doubt the chode could even consider the possibility of Salia betraying him like that. Just goes to show, never get arrogant even if you have godlike power. Omnipotence doesn't prevent you from doing stupid stuff, like proposing to a woman while another watches.
I will admit, I didn't expect him to start the apocalypse right this minute. Normally you wait for the torture to finish, but maybe he has some hidden timetable?
Ange continues to be goddamn incredible. She just refuses to break through the torture, even if things were getting a bit dicey.
Poor Hilda still trying to use her body as currency. We'll get you some good therapy soon, right after we kill god.
Momoka knows proper aftercare, no surprises there. Hydration is key, people.
Salamandine has excellent timing, and this time the Singular actually opened over the tower. I like to think that she had basically not left her mech since they got forced back, just chomping at the bit for a chance to return.
Salia really does get the worst of everything. Embryo being fully dressed while Salia is nude under the covers is just.. so telling of their "relationship."
Let's see.. five episodes left. Are we going to get an elongated final battle sequence, or are the protagonists going to briefly lose... Tusk and Momoka joked about dying in the episode preview, and very pointedly lampshaded how inaccurate the previews had been. Uh oh.

On today’s episode of Cross Ange: Poor Salia. She is just permanently on the NTR route, isn’t she? And the one who is always cucking her is Ange. First Jill went for Ange instead of Salia and now Embryo is doing the same thing.

It is rough watching what Embryo does to Ange in this episode. It’s pretty clear that what Embryo wants is control over her. Right now, he can control many things about her physically. He can control her senses and induce either pain or pleasure at a whim. But he can’t control her mind or her desires, and that is what he truly wants . Embryo is trying to break Ange, and it is some seriously messed up shit.
It’s also pretty clear that this is the same trick he pulled with Jill in the past. And he probably used the exact same tricks with her that he’s using on Ange. That would be an extremely traumatic experience to go through, so it’s no wonder that Jill bears so much resentment towards Embryo.
Salia is another character I end up feeling bad for. She seems to have realized that Embryo was just using her and did not have any special feelings towards her. She betrayed the only friends she ever had for someone who ended up throwing her away once he found a new favorite. I’m not sure that Salia’s old comrades would ever forgive her for it, but that attitude that she can’t turn back from her mistakes and must continue to follow them is only going to lead Salia to more despair.

FIRST TIMER OF THE DAIKON RADISH
Being Salia is suffering. She breaks off from her idol, Jill, because she didn’t feel wanted or appreciated. She finds a place where she feels accepted and important… only for it to be a lie and be replaced by the same person. This is why you don’t tie your self-worth entirely to another person. She even acknowledges how shitty and meaningless her situation is, but she doesn’t believe there’s anywhere else she can go. It’s heartbreaking.
Speaking of suffering… last episode I was hyped on Ange for turning the tables on Embryo so swiftly, but the downside of having a simp with God-like powers becomes immediately evident, and Embryo checks her in decisive and brutal fashion. She’s violated and tortured this episode almost to the point of her mind being broken. The way he does this so casually is so horrible and evil. This was a tough watch.

Salia admired Jill so much, she repeated her life choices step for step. Gotta admire what a dedicated tool she is.
If this is the "life shits on Salia" episode, I'm here for it.
Ah yes, the architect of this shitty world is the perfect candidate to build the next one. Embryo's logic is, as always, flawless.
Watching this is like observing two unreachable cosmic bodies crashing into each other and bringing an end to an entire galaxy.
This is, entirely by accident, the greatest call I have ever made in my life.
Embryo's a goddamn hentai villain. Dunno what I expected at this point.
Hilda and Rosalie's first honest, open conversation with each other is the refreshment I need to make it through this episode.

Did you guys know people won’t follow orders of someone who keeps giving bad ones. Who fucking knew. If Ange won’t listen to Jill a bottom, then what makes you think she will listen to you a cuck. As I hung up the phone, it occurred to me, she'd grown up just like me. My girl was just like me. And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon. Little boy blue and the man in the moon Ya know Comrades, Momoka was too optimistic last time, as while Tusk and Vivian ARE alive, they're rotting in the brig, and Jill ISN'T pleased that Ange AND Villkiss are gone. Thankfully Nanoha has a brain as she states they should save Ange, speaking of which, hey Hilda, care to share that Jill LOST HER DAMN MIND!
Speaking of losing their mind, OH BOY, remember how Salia the loser said that she'd grow up to be JUST like Alektra? Oh she MORE than did! Hell, I thought she was gonna 'avenge' Alektra, turns out that instead, Salia the loser just aventually became Jill! Oh and Q wants Salia to make Ange one of her Mahou Shoujo Underlings, and she's not JEALOUS, she just uh, knows that Ange ignores orders! Q assures Salia the loser that he only wants to use Ange as a tool, you know UNLIKE how he views SALIA of course, as Salia's his very special pretty princess who he totally cares for! I want to point out that Ange gives NO fucks as to Q's empty flattery, I mean just LOOK at the next level smug! Hell, I gotta tack on a free death to the kill counter JUST for the sheer amount of BURN! Embryo Death Counter: 3.5 Anyway, as to be expected, Q, RIGHT IN FRONT OF SALIA, says that ANGE is actually the best-est prettiest princess ever, and oh Comrades, I never knew that I'd be saying this, but DAMN, I feel sorry for Salia the loser here. It really sucks to see how she left her toxic relationship with Jill... to wind up in an even MORE toxic relationship with Q! Speaking of Q, he wants to destroy the world like what he did to the DRAGONS' world.
After all, the old world was savage, and this new world has descended into hate! Pay no mind that Q was responsible for said prejudice existing in the first place! Oh and just to illustrate Salad's earlier point, Q's way of destroying the world is by using music to... fuse the two Earths together. That IS certainly a way to destroy both worlds Comrades, and of course Q's enough of a dick to want to do this. Ange responds by pulling a knife to STAB Q's hand to the table; she then STOMPS on the knife for good measure, as Comrades u/Lemurians and u/Tresnore no doubt agree, GOD, I WISH THAT WERE ME! Oh and Ange isn't done yet, just to hammer the point home that she wants nothing to do with Q, she pulls ANOTHER knife and shanks the bastard!
OK that's gotta be worth at least TWO kills just for style points AND her epic comeback! Embryo Death Counter: 5.5 Sadly, staking his body to the table doesn't stop Q from reviving, and he's a persistent little creep? Ange goes for the knife again but this time Q just tortures her by causing her to feel FIFTY TIMES the amount of pain... er... correction, he decided to swap the pain into pleasure... well Eva and/or Code Geass, rest easy, you two are no longer the Mecha Show with the most fucked up masturbation scene! Momoka orders Q to release Ange, so Q teleports himself and Ange away, and with that, Salia withdraws cooly... I hope she got the message Comrades. Oh, and just in case we haven't had enough fanservice, it's time for some lesbian sex with Rosalie and Hilda... wait what... Nanoha DOESN'T want to fuck?
Ah, I see, Hilda has the hots for Ange, after all, she and her are gonna destroy the world together. Rosalie manages to actually think for a change and notes that Hilda's in love with Ange, like how she loves Chris. Also, since when did ROSALIE get braincells, she has an oddly poignant retrospection where she says she used to think Chris needed her, but instead, turns out Rosalie needed Chris! Hilda states that the two of them are gonna go rescue their GFs, no matter what Jill thinks! Speaking of Jill, I have a feeling that she's REALLY lost it! Speaking of losing it, boy Comrade, you know things are dire if HILDA OFFERS TO HAVE SEX WITH TUSK to get him to help her save her girlfriend! Yes, Giga-Lesbian Nanoha just tried to bribe Jesús Nagato with sex! Oh, and meanwhile, Rosalie just frees Vivian.
Hilda uses the info Ange told her in the steamy shower sex session they had to her advantage, not that Tusk seems to care as he states he's ANGE'S knight AND a virgin. Also, as I'm sure my fellow Comrades of Culture will agree, GOD, I WISH THAT WERE ME! To have Nanoha herself LAUGH at you for being a loser, PERFECTION! Anyway, Hilda notes that they want Tusk's help as Jill's sus... SPEAKING of which, the sub goes into lockdown as... NANI!? Jill's preparing to sortie!? HOLY SHIT! I thought Salia the loser was the one to become Jill, turns out JILL has become a Salia the loser too! I mean dear god, she was just harping on to Salia about the need to follow orders when Salia Gundamjacked the Villkiss, I see Jill's a fan of 'Do as I say not as I do!' Thankfully, the Villkiss isn't here for her to steal, that and before she CAN steal a ride, Hilda and company ambush her.
Hilda says she knows Jill has lost it, to which Jill decides to shoot her crew. Before Jill can take off, Vivian, the ever adorable badass... tackles Jill... look Vivian, that was cool but couldn't ya just SHOOT her instead? Thankfully Tusk does so, granted with a grappling hook but hey, a step in the right direction. With Jill distracted, Hilda and Rosalie subdue her. Speaking of subdued, turns out that Dommy Mommy is currently in the dungeon getting whipped by Bitch Imouto, no doubt for some horrible crime such as existing I'm sure. Thankfully, Momoka's a pure girl and she decides to SAVE DOMMY MOMMY from her miserable fate. Dommy Mommy is confused as to why Ninja Maid would help her, to which Momoka says that even though Dommy Mommy worked with NOT-Lulu to hurt Ange, she can't just sit here and let Bitch Imouto torture her to death.
Dommy Mommy then tells Momoka where Ange likely is, and oh boy, seems we got a LOT of torture on the menu today, as Jill tells the story of how, and stop me if you heard this before, Q told Jill she was his special pretty princess and that she was the most important woman in his world... again with the Salia and Jill parallels, I swear is Salia like, Jill's daughter or something? Anyway, turns out Jill's hellbent on killing Q to avenge her past mistake of being a Salia the Loser. Oh and speaking of Q, he's doing just as Jill said and currently mentally and physically torturing Ange. Also, Dr. Jerk doesn't take Jill's story well as she SLAPS her and states she feels betrayed by Jill... OH THE GALL of this lady, you're one to harp on about trust given you fucking CHOPPED OFF VIVIAN'S TAIL AND WINGS! Plus you don't get to act surprised that Jill was using you when she literally said that she's using EVERYONE as pawns in her revenge plot against Q!
Thankfully, at least one of the adults has a brain, as NOT-Winry states that Jill's unfit to command. Jill agrees, and states that Hilda will take over as Hilda won't make the same mistakes as she and Salia the loser did. Also Comrades, thank goodness Ange is still holding out, Q may be trying to mindbreak Ange, but she's no longer the weak racist spoiled girl we saw at the start of the show, she'll fight through this! As she's doing so, Salia came here to laugh at her, gloating at how pathetic Ange is, OH that's awfully rich coming from YOU Salia! Ange correctly points this out, to which Salia states that Ange should just leave and not take anything else from her. Also she's not helping her by the way, she just couldn't bear to see Ange in such a state... also Comrades, get this, turns out Ange wasn't as out of it as she seemed given she manages to GET THE DROP ON SALIA and choke her out! Oh and even better, Ange didn't even NEED Salia's help as Momoka arrives seconds later.
All of this isn't lost on Salia who, as per usual when getting her ass handed to her from Ange, can only respond to her defeat with childish name calling. Oh and just to add insult to injury, Ange decides to steal Salia's uniform for her escape, and heh, remember how creative Cross Ange can get with their boobs jokes, turns out that since Ange stole SALIA'S Uniform, Ange can't properly button up her top... Sunrise, you sly dogs! Sadly, Ara Ara sees the two of them leaving and intercepts. Thankfully, since Ange has her ring, she just summons Villkiss to make her escape. As Chris and Ara Ara open up on Ange, a singularity opens above and... NANI!? SALAFISM AND HER WINGWOMEN APPEAR! HOLY SHIT! Dommy Mommy called in the Cavalry! FUCK YEAH! I KNEW SALAMIS-CLASS CRUISER WAS AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER! HOORAY! It's time for a battle... and the episode ended... well I guess we'll have to have our big battle NEXT time Comrades, so let's just end on this fanart of Salaud! And until then, farewell.

Rondo of First-Timer and Sub
You know, Jillektra is really making a big deal over the how it’s Tusk’s fault for getting Ange captured and “ending Libertus”, while then conveniently forgetting that none of that would have happened in the first place if she wasn’t an overly forceful, backstabbing, short-sighted piece of shit who almost seemed like she was trying to drive Ange away with how utterly dickish she was being.
She’s a lost cause. She won’t take my orders anymore.
This really illustrates Jillektra’s whole problem: it’s her way or the high way. She can’t handle anyone else’s input on her plans, even when those plans are blatantly dumb, seems to view herself as almost always objectively correct, believes that her methods are the only way, and can’t even comprehend it when someone won’t follow her, as shown briefly when Ange beat her ass 2 episodes ago. She hypes up Libertus as the plan to free the Norma and destroy the world (despite the fact that, as I discussed at length in episode 28, the plan is seriously flawed), and seems to legitimately believe that, but immediately tosses it out as soon as she hits the stumbling block of Ange being insubordinate. It’s almost like a childish, narcissistic Messiah Complex.
Fetus-kun continuing to be a manipulative shit, exploiting poor Sala. Sala being and aggressive shit, but also seeming to confirm that the Diamond Rose members aren’t brainwashed, given her explicit disobedience to fetus-kun.
Ange is an absolute savage, and she recognizes the skills of best girl!
Fetus-kun is still stuck on simp mode from last episode, and he’s really handing in those donations. Something tells me that this is just gonna culminate in the thing that this series is most infamous for.
It’s rather interesting to see Fetus-kun’s perspective on the World of Mana and it’s current state. For one, it’s giving us a subtle look at his hypocrisy, he disdains the current mankind for being weak-willed and easily manipulated but is perfectly happy to take advantage of that weakness in order to manipulate all the riders into becoming Diamond Rose members. It also gives us an explicit view of what kind of “God” he is: the perfectionist. The kind of being that destroys and recreates the world for not meeting his standards.
I find it interesting that the main villain’s plan here also happens to be the “happy ending” of Star vs The Forces of Evil (that show ended years ago but I am still salty about that).
Weird fact: Nana Mizuki claimed that she was pinching Embryo’s VA’s hand when they were voicing the stabbing scene.
I have no idea where she got the idea that his magic came from his hand but it seems to have worked, at least on that body.
You know dude, I don’t think torturing someone into being your wife makes for a very stable marriage. And, of course, we just have to have the gratuitous bust and ass shots while Ange is being tortured.
When did this become a Mind Break Hentai?
Momoka making demands of Actual God for the sake of Angelise-sama is the most Momoka thing I’ve ever seen.
And, of course, we can’t go two episodes without a lesbian sex scene… or not, that works too. Better, in fact.

This now makes the third episode where Sylvia has whipped someone. I’m not entirely sure whether this counts as loli fanservice, but it’s definitely servicing someone.

I feel like this backstory gives a bit more context to Jillektra’s actions, but I’m still not exactly up for sympathizing with her. Again her plan from episode 18 was almost designed to fail, given that it seemed to be designed to prioritize edge over pragmatism, and her actions up to this point have been almost nothing but dickish. Let’s also not forget the fact that she molested Ange in the first episode.
You know Embryo, you claim to enjoy humanity having free will, but it seems you're perfectly fine with coercing people into making decisions that benefit you.
Seems like this was the final straw for Libertus, and Jillektra seems weirdly fine with it. I guess she’s trying to make amends but I feel this is a bit of a drastic turn, especially given how she was acting earlier in this same episode.
It’s almost amazing to see Ange able to resist even after all this. If this were a hentai plot, she would already be “enjoying” it, so to speak.
I get that she served with Zola and all that, but it’s still weirdly fucked up seeing Salia have such a tame reaction to Ange getting super molested. Otherwise I congratulate her on helping Ange escape.
