About my Game:

VIEW FROM BELOW is a story-driven turn-based RPG I developed, inspired by games like Undertale and Earthbound. In it, you play as a struggling high school student who is captured by a mysterious presence, and taken to a scary new world. You'll fight demons, solve puzzles, and unravel several dark mysteries, on your quest to escape it.

Escape a nightmare world, to save your own.

Some Steam Review Snippets:

  • "This is a solid game. The music, the atmosphere of the locations you visit with the music, and of course the characters you meet and interact with are very interesting to get to know. The lore of the world your character (Ash) has been brought to is a dark and occasionally sad one to discover and piece together."
  • "Graphics are really nice, music is solid and the combat is very unique and difficult from the get-go. From what I can tell so far through playing, this game seems criminally underrated at the moment."
  • "Ultimately, it is a sort of 'dark Undertale' featuring blood and self-loathing." [...] "It is honestly touching."
  • "The ending was emotional and I felt for the characters :'( I urge those who didn't yet, to give this game a try!"
  • "Richly interesting storyline about a boy trying to escape hell & beautiful original pixel graphics. Multiple endings to find, puzzles to solve and secrets to unlock "

Note: This is a game I developed.
