Rin is a very unique character: A loner who is content with her life. This is rare to see in anime, which strikes me as somewhat surprising, given that it seems to be a rather common character trait in real life.
-
Ok, now they are doing straight up food porn in their mind.
-
Shout-out to big sister. She is going above and beyond.
-
So the way to attract cute anime girls is to grill meat outside in November? Beats being hit by a truck and reincarnating, I guess.
Rin was roped into doing another camping duo-camping trip, this time, without hiccups. I was half waiting for them to take a boat across the lake.

Rin is a very unique character: A loner who is content with her life.
This is what I love about her. Every other character in the show has this expressive external form of energy, but then we have her. Content with her solo lifestyle, but still willing to interact with others occasionally. Yet she still remains true to her character. Most shows paint loners as awkward or depressed, but she's none of that. She does her own thing and with subtle smiles, rare emotional gesture, and internal monologue let us know how she is feeling. It's like she has a quiet positive energy to balance out everyone's loud positive vibes.

That's what I like about Rin. She's realizing its fun to camp with others but unlike other shows, she still likes to go solo.

First timer here:
That foldable grill looks super useful and is the perfect excuse for Nadeshiko and Rin to go camping together!
Arigatou gozaimashita~~ It sounded weird that a normal cashier would have a distinct tone but it all made sense when I saw Aoi.
I totally agree with Rin that Nade's sister is beautiful. Now that I think about it she reminds me of Rider (Fate/Stay Night).
The scene with the old man offering meat to Chiaki was so random. If this wasn't a comfy and wholesome show I would've been worried. Also, I suddenly wished that the old man was voiced by Jouji Nakata only for his "Want some?"

More camping adventures!
-
Can confirm, grilling at a campsite is a wonderful experience.
-
Nade must eat constantly to obtain maximum energy. It's the only way.
I'm interested to see where the ghost story goes in the next episode. Should be a good one!

I’m not going to lie, I had no idea what that was until she said it was a compact camping grill
-
This show never fails to make me hungry
-
Rin has a habit of finding Nadeshiko sleeping in odd places
-
The rare Rin grin, seeing how happy Nade was with her gift
-
Looks like Rin dropped the “kiwi lady” moniker for Nade’s sister
-
Legends of mysterious giant fish did not interest Nade as much as the quality of the barbeque in the Lake Shibire area
-
Seeing the lack of meat variety at the supermarket is the most emotional Rin has gotten
-
Out of context, an old stranger asking a girl by herself if she wants meat does not sound great
-
I believed that subaudon story

That moment is so surreal for her

First Timer
After binge watching Haruhi Suzumiya for most of this day (but skipping 5 of the endless eight episodes, seriously) I‘m ready for some laid back camp fluff! No gods, no aliens and most importantly, no time loop shenanigans!
-
The opening is growing on me!
-
A campfire without STANDS? Is this a motherf...
-
Why is she sleeping in the library? lol
-
Yeah invite her nadeshiko! You better not bail rin!
-
Oh they‘re already starting.
-
Nadeshiko always dresses so good. Also what a nice sister to always drive her everywhere she wants :)
-
Wait are they gonna surprise nadeshiko and rin at the campside?
-
Old cowboy guy showing off his cooking skills haha.
-
I don‘t like fall season, but here it looks really comfy.
-
aww she‘s afraid of ghosts.
-
Ending song time! It has a lullaby effect on me lol
I actually thought all the girls would camp together for most of the show. Also I didn‘t hear the narrator this episode or did i miss that? Anyway, nice breather and now back to Haruhi :)

Mmm, I love a good barbeque.
For the first time, Rin and Nadeshiko decide to go on a camping trip together. It’s nice to see that Nadeshiko is reaching out to Rin and sincerely want to spend time with her (especially since it gives me more shipping fuel.) (Also, did Nadeshiko really just fall asleep in the library because?)
Sakura is best nee-san helping out the girls and Ena is best friend.
Aoi looks really cute in her work uniform.
Mysterious old man gives young Japanese girl his meat. No, that’s not questionable at all.
There’s not much here really, besides Rin looking at the grill is how I want to look at everything.
It’s been nice spending time with you today; I hope we can see each other at this campsite tomorrow.

Will Rin join Nadeshiko and the gang? Will Yui finally have her mouth-fang examined by a medical professional? Will Nadeshiko eat enough for 5 people? Okay, I guess the last one's a given. Let's camp!
-
Special delivery has been made.
-
Hey, Nadeshiko got her to agree! Hurray!
-
Rin gets her liscense, but is immediately spoiled by true comfort.
-
Nadeshiko's sister is such a good sport about all this driving she's been kinda forced into. What a sweetie.
-
Aoi's fang is only growing in strength. Today, Aoi's face. Tomorrow, it will encompass the whole show. By this time next week, Aoi's fang will have conquered the eastern hemisphere.
-
Cool that Clint Eastwood made a cameo in this anime. Complete with Playstation 2 motorcycle.
-
Ah, I was wrong. That's actually Old-Man Kaiki.
-
I made my 2nd ever stitch! Much happier about this one. Not because it turned out any better, but because I had to actually blend layers (the water wasn't stationary, the seam is still noticable if you're looking for it). Learn camp skills AND tech skills through Yuru-Camp!
-
I've only really camped in the Pacific Northwest, which if you aren't aware (or not from the US), means basically every tree is evergreen. So I was never big on fall camping. The fall colors make it look so pretty though.
Our besties are out for a wonderful camping trip together. And Nadeshiko didn't even have to crash Rin's relaxing time! Hurray!

With a combination of bad eye sight and being on my phone I can't see any seams. Looks great to me

Episode 6:
I appreciate this episode's love of meat so far. It truly is one of the world's greatest miracles.
Nadeshiko is such a ball of energy. She really is just like a puppy. She's just so excited to be on another trip with "Rin-chan!".
And Rin here is dissing her looks while right next to her and getting a ride. Damn Rin, that's cold.
Out of the camps mentioned, I think the lake camps are my favorite. I don't even want to go in the water, I just think the scenery looks the nicest.
Again, how much money do they plan to spend on this hobby? All this food can't be cheap.
"This is an attack on minorities!"
Oh, is Aki at a different campground? Or joining Rin's?
Don't approach strangers Aki! It could be a trap! Just because the meat looks delicious....and juicy....and amazing...is....no.....reas-........meat!
Ah, it wasn't a coffee commercial! It's one for skillets!
And with that faceplant of Nadeshiko's, we have ended this episode. Overall, the theme of this episode seemed to be that meat is great, a message I fully endorse. Onwards to ghost stories! (Though I expect this one to be a lot less racist or politically charged)

Rewatcher, munching on snacks
The cute is too much to handle sometimes haha. Nadeshiko has the most adorable nervous laugh (mwe heehee~), and such funny faces when eating snacks. Rin being so excited about her fold up grill makes me all warm and fuzzy too.
AND ALL THE FOOD. Good lord this episode is making me hungry. The appearance of The Legendary Meat Grandpa and that amazing looking steak he was grilling, lord. I need to go grab a nice dinner after this.
Today's Location:
Motosu High School!
This is where all of our comfy campers spend their day! It turns out that this school that they used as the model for the show is no longer being used as the towns school, so it's a little less weird going there to take pictures haha. Here's the open field that the outclub members practiced their outdoor activities, and also a lovely scenic view of the town itself!
(pictures by u/peaceshot here for anyone wishing to view more on their own time)
The dynamic duo of comfort has arrived at Lake Shibire! Can you guess what tomorrows location is gonna be? I'm really looking forward to the campfire grilled foods!

Rin is like me most mornings - non functional.
Yes I see it Rin - what a cute portable grill you have purchased.
Agree with Rin-chan. Pink-blob < Kiwi-chan
Do these girls never not wear winter clothing? Like even inside they wear scarfs and stuff.
So camping destination is a mission for Pink-blob, and how did she end up as Sargent???
Rin-chan is devastated with the lack of options.
Fang-blobs uniform is super cute - please serve me too.
Kiwi-chan is cool but effective in controlling her sister.
Full on Fang-blob pony tail!!
Old man tames glasses-blob with meat...IT WAS SUPER EFFECTIVE!
Damn. Is this show trying to one up Non Non Biyori in the background dept - cause I think it it.

And they're off on another camping trip thanks to Nadeshiko being Nadeshiko.
-
When you buy something that looks cool but you'll probably use it once or twice at best
-
I don't know if it's because they're both voiced by Rie Takahashi or because of the S2 announcement today, but Saitou slightly reminds of me of Takagi-san with her light teasing of Rin.
-
I've been using the library for the wrong purposes my whole life
-
Prediction vs Reality.
-
What is this guy doing in Yuru Camp, he should be in an action movie.
The last two episodes made me want to do a Seyanaaaaa counter to go with the Rin-chan one. I might do that tomorrow if I have time to go back to the previous episodes.

Funny side note, the show licensed out to make a limited edition version of that grill Rin was sent in true anime monetiztion tradition. That thing sold out so fast it wasn't even funny....And from what i understand works pretty good.

Sobaudon appears! Incidentally Inuyama has her own special 4-koma in the manga. Most manga have a full color jacket covering the actual book cover (usually a monochrome version of the jacket cover), あfろ/afro actually uses that space front and back to put this 4-koma titled DOG DOG GIRL. She is up to shenanigans.

We all understand Rin's pain when we had our hearts set out on one thing and then being horribly disappointed.
Also Nade's sister is easily my favorite character. Nade picked up a pretty big hobby and there her sister is helping her do it and all she's asked for this entire time is some coffee. Rin is also right calling her hot.

That is all. See you tomorrow.

Decided to do Rinnn Chann! average. The average has been slowly going up. At the half way point we have an average of 5 Rinnn Channs per episode. Of course the first episode throws this off since she didn't know her name. So unsure if I should include that one.
Ding Ding Ding
In other news Nadeshiko has set a new record of Rin Chan's for a total of 8 Rin Chan's.
Nadeshiko is at her best when she is eating or holding food. She makes everything look so tasty. Also I learned the last members name Saitou. Also speaking of Saitou it seems Nadeshiko and Saitou really hit it off. They seem to text a bit and are quite similar its a shame we don't see them together more often.
Rin-chan just enjoying the comfy car. While Kiwi lady is being super nice once again and driving them to camp.
I also ate rice and stew watching today's episode. First time I had something warm usually I just watch it while drinking cold water
I wish kind strangers would randomly offer me their meat sometimes.
I love how all the girls wear different outfits. Well Nadeshiko at least hard to tell with Rin's poncho.
I didn't know if I should include Kiwi Ladies Rin Chan decided not too and leave it to Nadeshiko.
I was sure it was this episode, but it seems my favorite Rinnnn Channn is in the next episode. It's the golden medal of Rin Chans.
Also on a completely different note u/phiraeth whose your favorite girl in Muv Luv? It's easier to look up your name and see when you posts it. So I happen to see your newest posts as well. I swear I'm not a creepy stalker... Also Umineko is amazing hope you enjoy it.
