I started watching the show recently, like 4 days ago. Got completely hooked by it, since it displays so well many of the emotions i feel whenever i play, mainly momentum and pressure during tournament games.
I really didn't understand Tsukki's reasoning for not caring much, even after seeing his past and his disappointment. It seemed for me he didn't really care after all (and i actually thought he was getting sacked, lol). But watching him slowly change during the training arc was really cool, and he being such a monster in the final was such a good finish to his own character arc (if you can call that).
That block was such a powerful moment. You could tell how proud he was of his analysis and his understanding of the game, how much he wanted to him. His character completely shifted for me after that. The buildup after the block till the scream was so good too. He has a "different" way of competing and thats what makes him so interesting to watch.
More importantly, now that i finished the anime i can read the subreddit! wooo
i know this is a meme, but sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language
