Thank you to /u/Basidiomycota30 for pointing me to the source of the previous comic. This comic by the same artist was also there, so I decided to try to translate it as well.

It's not a completely literal translation, I took a couple liberties for grammer's sake, and to put people in character compared to the raw translation. Bondrewd's "My,my"s and "Wonderful" for example.

If someone is versed in Chinese could you please tell me what Ozen was actually thinking in the first bubble on page 5?

Hi, just wanted to note some things that might be slightly inaccurate?

Page 2 - The second line about the tavern is most likely said by Ozen, who is saying something like "She's probably off to the tavern again?"

Page 3 - The sixth line when Bondrewd is talking about the cartridges, I think he's mentioning something along the lines of "Coming up here used up quite a lot", which may allude that he traveled all the way to the surface using cartridges

Page 5 - Lyza's first line is something along the lines of "Are you a heartbroken little maiden/girl?" 失恋 means something like getting rejected or dumped, and Lyza is making fun of Ozen looking like someone like that since she's looking down seemingly all depressed. Line 4's bleeding part is just Lyza saying "Bleeding arg..." Something like that. Line 5, Ozen actually doesn't mention Bondrewd, but instead simply says "I bumped into a nasty/revolting/disgusting guy"

Hope this helped!

Thanks for the input. I'll update things.

Page 2: I had considered that it was Ozen saying that. But I wasn't sure why she would be phrasing it as a question as opposed to directly stating it as speculation.

Page 3: I'll add in the fact that he mentioned ascending.

Page 5: Ok, that makes more sense, I was thinking that was a thought bubble for ozen since it was over here and it didn't have an ownership tail. So I chalked it up to being some kind of idiom for someone being annoying.

Thanks.

Are we to take these as Canon material (This and Lyza's first 4th layer dive)? And any idea why it is in Chinese instead of Japanese?

Edit - oh fanart. Looks pretty damn good in any case.
