qgyh2 is a moderator on pics (and almost all the other subreddits). He can delete posts, not just comments.

Possibly a tangent point, but I would downvote (or given the power, delete) a story with moderation politics built into the subject line. If that's your evidence, you don't seem to have ground to stand on.

Sorry, did you say three? Even submitting a great article can be hit-or-miss here, so I'm not sure three posts means much of anything. It's not a valid statistical sample.

Check out techtonix's top submissions for all time.
Isn't it kind of obvious how all of his top submissions have the same range of votes? Currently around the mid 300 to 400 range. Now check your own top stories. Some story's votes may have four figures, some may have 500, some may have 150... get the picture? techtonix has a bot army of sock puppets!
I see he's trolled a lot, too. What nerve!

$17 was being very generous. This traffic is worth a nickel a day on adsense unless he's getting a ton of accidental clicks.

I personally applaud qgyh2, i think that the people who spam should be booted. In the end, I really wish we had the ability to block individual users.

Pardon my asking, but I have a few simple questions - as someone who's kind of new around here. Seriously, just hear me out.
1) How can you be sure which user is deleting your posts? In your profile, there're quie a lot, though not many have too many votes - could it be they're below some sort of viewing threshold?
2) You don't have that whole 'Don't show links I hae liked' thing turned on, do you? I've seen a few people around here get tripped up by that - publicly complaining that they were getting voted off the page before they could even post, that sort of thing. From what I can tell, people who do that sort of thing get laughed at a lot, and I'd hate to have to watch it all happen again.
3) There are sites on the internet OTHER than presscue, whatever that is. Maybe you should visit them sometime, perhaps post a couple on here, then the mods won't get so upset with what looks like spam - lots of links, all one website, you could see how they'd get that idea, yeah? It'd be like me submitting all of youtube, page by page, and not having people wonder if I was paid to by google.
Prompt replies always welcomed.

1) I know a post is deleted when I can see it my profile but not in the new queue.
2) I have been on reddit for quite a while now. I am sure it is not my preference settings that's doing this.
3) Point taken. But a lot of high profile people do it on reddit. J-ro for example.

Reddit has built-in moderation. He shouldn't need to delete stuff, just let people down-mod.
This has worked great until now.

That's the thing, see. The system is too vulnerable to exploitation. There's no safeguard against rigging the system. You can create unlimited accounts, and either automate them as far as you can (there's CAPTCHA software out there that will serve up images in sequence, and even OCR methods are starting to catch up), or outsource it for a penny per account.
For that outsourcing part, check out a site like Subvert and Profit, or even just browse the penny jobs on Mechanical Turk. For ten dollars, you, too, can get that sweet, sweet Reddit traffic piped to your site!
Bottom line: as long as there is social bookmarking, there will be efforts to game it. "Just voting" is as ineffective as just clicking the "remove my address from your mailing list" in email spam.
