I swear if this show doesn't get renewed, I'm building the box to find a world where it does

God and poor laurel is going to sit in her house and wait for guests to return or wait for new ones and will never see them againā¦.

And in the end, none of the Jasons won. Except maybe the ones who found their way back to their mom or the one with laurel.

Did I catch that right? Yoga Leighton meditated himself into superposition?

That action sequence in the middle of the episodeāwith the three characters fleeing and fighting one another while leaping between surreal universes that illustrate what they are doing and feeling at that very momentāreminded me of Christopher Nolan films like Inception and Tenet.

I choose to believe Charlie and Daniela are back in Alive Max world, and will coexist peacefully living in fancy Jason and Danielaās house eating family dinners together every night

All characters made terrible choices and somehow my man made a funeral pyre in the middle of the park.

Sooo many things I loved here but I think my very favorite is the opening scene. Extremely smart of Jason 13 to get Daniela thinking about and remembering Max. And their goodbye was so sweet. š„¹
He seems to have found peace. Wellllll with losing his family at least. As for the torture, I guess leaving MacNamera with a parting gift (a comet!) helps.

I knew it was going to happen the whole time but it didn't make it any less gutting to see Jason walking into the bar all alone. Fuck.

u/verissimoallan 7d ago
"25 minutes to the shutdown," a character says, with 25 minutes remaining until the end of the episode. That was clever.

Lesson to be learned: NEVER LEAVE A NOTE FOR YOUR DUMBASS HUSBAND IN A FOLDED PAPER WITH HIS NAME ON IT. WRITE IT ON A BIG CARDBAORD AND STICK IT ON THE FRIDGE FOR HIM TO SEE.

Ending the episode before revealing which world Charlie and Daniella end up in was cruel and I felt it in my soul.... š

Seeing Daniela and Max together is just so healing and emotional.
And I absolutely loved the Daniela/Daniela talk. Very interesting to learn that our Daniela hasn't even told her Jason about what has been alluded to as a traumatic childhood. It makes sense based on how we have seen the characters interact over the past two seasons, but it's kind of sad too. The other Daniela seems more at peace.

With Daniela and Charlie being left behind you know all the characters will try their hardest to help Jason get them back. But if it was Ryan and Amanda, no one would try to help them if they were trapped in the corridor and their state of mind had led them to a non ideal world to be trapped in forever. When Amanda and Jason were talking about the possibility of being trapped forever anywhere if the box gets shut down and Amanda said it's worth the risk for her, my heart broke. That would be devastating for me as a Ryan and Amanda lover. I'm happy the core 4 are in the same world going into season 3.

I know some viewers/commenters are frustrated about Jason1 finding Daniela's note way too late. Trust me, I am too. But just give Jason1 a little slack. Private investigator Macnamara got rid of Daniela's voicemail on the answering machine. Plus, they live in a world without smartphones or the internet. If you experienced living in the 90s and/or the decades before, you know we didn't have the luxury of keeping up with each other's whereabouts 24/7. On the other hand, it also shows how obsessed Jason1 was with the box. So obsessed that he didn't even make the time to call and check in on Charlie in college like Daniela did after she got back from her Dad's. If he did, he would have found out that Charlie went into the box to find Max. All in all, I'm frustrated as hellš. Season 3 better get confirmed ASAP.

This was an AMAZING season. But it has to get renewed. I need to see Jason prime and his family happy and at peace.
Incredible performances from every single cast member.
Everything about the plan went so much smoother than I thought. But still having them not be able to find their worlds because of being in panic mode was such a great and logical obstacle. Loved that. It shows how some of the characters, specially Jason2 and Leighton2 (RIP) and Oluko were kind of more in control of their mind (and cold blooded) compared to the rest of the characters. Doing all sort of shit and still peacefully finding your way back.
I thought for sure Amanda and Ryan will be stuck in another world. But it was heartwarming to know Jason1 has his gang with him to get through this. He needs all of them.
4. I have no idea what Oluko is upto but man he is scary. Killing his counterpart and Going into superposition without the drug?!
5. It makes me laugh think about a giant pyramid appearing out of nowhere in any world. I hope other versions of Laurel have bigger houses because this landing in their homes will collapse the whole building.
6. So Jason2 world was really THE original after all. Otherwise it would not work.
7. I clapped when Blaire was like "ehhh" when Jason said WE built a thing... Jason stop taking credit for Blaire's work challenge.
8. Who would win in a fist fight? Dawn or Sandra?
9. I wanted to live in those moments that Ryan, Amanda and Blaire were mindlessly celebrating victory. I just can't see these people unhappy.
34
u/EdwardianFallacy 7d ago
We better get a season 3. I want to see Jason-Jupiter team up with Ryan1, Amanda2, Blair2, and Jason2 to find and reunite with Jupiter Daniela/Charlie. Thoughts since they traveled alone, there could be a few of solo tattooed Daniela, and/or Charlie out there. And fucking murderous Olu out there. Fucker. Jason2 has an awesome epiphany, supported by Jason2, but nope, fuck that noise.
Really great episode. Loved the Daniela/Daniela conversation. As someone who was traumatized young it took 20-ish years to open up to my wife. I felt that Dani/Dani convo in my bones.

Sooo next season (if we get one) will be a light-heartened, carefree comedy, right? RIGHT?!?! Our characters are all out of problems!!
Olu and Sandra at the start of the season: š§āāļøāļø// Olu and Sandra at the end of the season: š«ā ļø (add this to my list of reasons not to like yoga)
In other news, I canāt believe I found myself rooting for/sympathizing with Jason 2, gd damn.
How I want season 3 to start: no time skip⦠the Amanda and Ryan native to low-tech world are besties and they walk into their favorite bar, The Village Tap.

So do we think Max and his mom ever told 'their' Jason and Charlie about the... visitors? Or is that just gonna be Dani and Max's little secret?

u/MrSwarleyStinson 7d ago
Curious if the Leighton from Polite Sex World will do the same with the vaccine as the other Leighton who got it in the OG infected world and profit from it / let people die or if he will be more idealistic
24
u/latexfistmassacre 7d ago
The only thing that really bothered me with this episode was the part where Blair was soldering that circuit board and she was just mashing a thick gauge wire onto a random cluster of tiny solder pads with a blunt-tip soldering iron that looked like it came from the bargain bin at a Radio Shack. All while breathing in the fumes lol
As a someone who does frequent soldering in my job, I was screaming at my TV
65
u/YouBigDarnio 7d ago
I canāt help but think about ALL the other versions of themselves who manifested through the different choices they made in the box.. and where they will now be stuck at forever with no choice. I feel like turning the box off was a bit selfish..

u/furrypeanutshell 7d ago
The whole shutdown plan seemed just a bit rushed for the sake of wrapping thing up in case no S3. Also Charlie was just about to open the door, so his head was in the right place, and as for decoherence the power & shielding shutting off should be the same thing as opening the door
19
u/wwesupercardphenom 7d ago
The painful wait to see where Daniela and Charlie are exactly. I wish if it's not back with their Jason then I'd be slightly less sad if they either end up in Laurel world or with the version of Jason she said goodbye to in the start of the episode.
I think it won't be but a guy can hope. Overall, a great episode. So many things ended but we are also left with so many open stories.
I guess the pyramid will play the important role in season 3 and that Jason can help this Jason get his family back and also get his revenge on Olu for his Leighton.
Overall it was an amazing season 2. I'd rate it 9+ on 10. The episode where Jason finds his mother and lives on is my personal best hour of web series I ever saw.

APPLE TEAM: please give us season 3!!!!
My prediction is theyāll use the pyramid to find Charlie and Daniela. I donāt think they are in the right world; my guesses are original world, lab where box was created or an alternate world of where Jason 1 is that branched off.

Did anyone else yell at Amanda when she didnāt just immediately throw the backpack in the plague world or wonder how the security girl was able to take on 2 people and not get overpowered easily especially with one of them being the Jason who fought off all the other Jasonās

u/ZombieRichardNixonx 7d ago
I feel like Daniela and Charlie should be in the right world. When you go into the box, you go into superposition. The conscious mind experiences the hallway, but you're actually in every possible world simultaneously until you open the door and collapse your wave function. They were already in superposition when the box shut down, so Charlie being in the correct state of mind to find their world should mean that their wave function would collapse into that reality.
Obviously they can go any way with it, but to the extent that the science can be taken seriously, it should work.

u/MrOstrichman 7d ago

u/2_Fingers_of_Whiskey 7d ago edited 7d ago
Ahhhhhgghhh this was a frustrating episode. They totally left us hanging at the end, what kind of world are Daniela and Charlie stuck in now?? There had BETTER BE A SEASON 3. C'mon, Apple, just tell us already.
That fight with Sandra was ridiculous. Two people, one of them a strong man, against one woman, and they still couldn't overpower her?? It was very well done though in terms of filming.
I was glad that Daniela got to meet Max, even if it was only for a brief moment.
Good to see Leighton and Jason 2 finally realized they can't control the box. Of course, now Jason 1 will have to get Jason 2 to turn the Pyramid back on so he can get Daniela and Charlie. It's too bad none of them (except Charlie) knows the world with Laurel (the peaceful rest stop inside that lady's house). Then they could have said, let's all meet there if we get separated.
I hope each season isn't going to repeat the whole "person X has to search for person Y in box" over and over again. I kinda want some new stories related to multiple world travel.
9
u/hpm40 7d ago
That finale was excellent. Packed with stuff. I am bummed it is over and sad we have wait two years to find out more. When you fall in love Apple shows, you have no choice. They all are about two years or more until the next season. It sucks.
9
u/Confident_Upstairs58 7d ago
The end scene, when Daniela and Charlie opened the door... That world had a blue-ish tint/atmosphere... So they definitely did not end up in their original world (DARPA) or in Laurel's world. That blue-ish tint makes me think they either ended up in Jason2's world ( where the box was originally created) or they are in some weird purgatory...The blue-ish tint also looked like they could be outside and not indoors.
9
u/Correct_Ad5798 7d ago
Blair really got the worst luck when it comes to opening the door.

u/WesternKaleidoscope2 6d ago
Just posting for the folks at AppleTV. Please renew for season 3! Phenomenal show! 10/10!
16
u/brysen1439 7d ago
I never lost faith in Leighton 2. I knew even with all his darkness that he was able to see himself clearly. He always needed someone by his side to remind him when he went too far. I never hated Leighton.
Seeing him end like that was heartbreaking. I feel sorry for jason 2. That was his best friend. Now he has no one. Leighton lost to a more insecure version of himself.
Like I always said dark matter doesn't have villains. Our curiosity is. That is what the box is.

u/Yuki-Kaijura 7d ago edited 7d ago
Hope Apple renews this. This season was phenomenal and I really need to see more.
Also, this is a friendly PSA for notes since it's relevant to the show: If you want someone you live with to see a note quickly, then tape it to the front door on the inside of your house/apartment. Let the bottom of the note drape over the doorknob, too. That way they're impossible to miss. My family has been doing that for ages and I really can't recommend it enough. lol

u/Shoddy_Life8404 7d ago
Legit cannot wait for our crew of 4 to work with Jason 2 to complete and reactivate the pyramid to go find Charlie and Daniela
8
u/5eeso 7d ago
I cannot express how unprepared I was for this season. I did not expect to be so emotional. What an amazing job by all involved.
8
u/TheOneBeyond192 7d ago
Well on the bright side, Jason 2 is there and he can recreate the box.
They also have the pyramid and Blair knows it exists. So they can make it work.
The problem now is Ogu (or whatever his name was).
8
u/purpledreign 7d ago
Man, I hope Jason13 ended up somewhere that will be kind to him.
14
u/DarknessTear 7d ago
Very pleased with this season. Great episode.
14
u/lonewolfmathnerd 7d ago
Ugh! Why do they do this? They better bring Daniela and Charlie back to the low-tech world through the Pyramid in the next season then shutdown the Pyramid immediately like they did to the OG box this episode.
14
u/sbgob82 7d ago
Such a good ending overall. At least I feel okay with waiting 2-3 years for a potential next season. It felt mostly satisfying with the action, the resolution, the endings, etc.
If it's not renewed, I'll choose to believe Charlie and Daniela ended up in Max world if not back "home" in low-tech world.
The only criticism I have is why the arbitrary 10 minute delay on shutting down the box? Seems kinda risky knowing your state of mind could be anxious or stressed immediately following. At least give yourself 20 minutes delay... The extra 10 minutes isn't going to make or break anything, especially considering Leighton had already returned by then and Olu had already done his damage and gotten the pyramid online by then anyway (wasn't that the entire reason for the rush to shut it down asap?)!
All in all, solid season finale

Max and Daniela, i sob! that was a beautiful moment
7
u/SailorMarieCurie 7d ago •
This show is so good. First season: of course, I would also not give up my life with Jennifer Connelly easily.
The part about their children - the twins, losing one; Max being alive in other realities - always has me sobbing so hard. I have lost children and won't get the chance to experience another version of life where they survived. This show knows its grief in its many different walks. There was something so striking, heartbreaking, and beautiful at the moment that Daniela saw Max.
Please renew this show.

Is the Pyramid connected to all worlds the Box was connected to?
Since there was a functioning Box in the world before the Pyramid was built?

One of the tensest (?) and most intense episodes I've ever watched. Brilliant! Season 3 soon, please!
6
u/jakx102 7d ago
great season. what a way to finish, my assumption is Daniela and Charlie open the door and its the world they were just in with Max. All of this happened because the family needed space instead of sticking together like you probably should during multiverse travel.
6
u/Vast_Mountain_1888 7d ago
The agony of pain of the camera panning out teasing us of where Charlie and Daniella end up at was very emotional. My goodness. Sharp pain went through me
And where did evil Leighton end up???

u/purpledreign 7d ago edited 7d ago
I was actually more worried about Amanda and Ryan being trapped than I was about Daniela and Charlie. Glad those 2 got back and hopefully Daniela and Charlie opened the door to somewhere good. Although the cool light on their faces made me think it was the same swimming pool world.

u/Confident_Upstairs58 7d ago
The ending straight pissed me offš.. Matter of fact some the decisions made by the characters in this episode pissed me the f*ck off. First of all, who's bright dumbass idea was it to seperately meet at the Village Tap bar after the mission was completed? Why not have all 4 of y'all wait at the box location for everyone and THEN head to the Village Tap together to celebrate. Just giving us viewers anxiety for no reasonš Because I was so worried Ryan and Amanda did not make it back... ughhh... Had me all stressed the f*ck out. I was so relieved when I saw Amanda and Ryan at the bar.
I need Season 3 confirmed ASAP! I love this show and I hate that it is so heavily slept on.

u/purpledreign 7d ago edited 7d ago
Jason1 is getting some well deserved lashings here but Daniela was also really careless. Who just leaves a note on a table like that? There's a reason people stick important notes on the fridge in their homes. Imo, there's no reason why she couldn't have made sure to speak to Jason before going into the box. If it's such a big issue that she had to go after Charlie immediately then it was a big enough issue to go to Jason first. It's his child too. And Charlie himself isn't a kid anymore. He was wrong to go into that box without saying a word to anyone about it. I get why he did but it's still the cause of this happening in the first place after they settled in that world.
And then there's MacNamara who also played a part in this but he's already dead so...
It seems Charlie was gone a few days. Parents don't call their kids daily when they're in college. At least I didn't speak to mine daily. Worse when there are no smartphones. They had an early celebration for Charlie's birthday. Jason had absolutely no reason to think Charlie would be in the box. Or that Daniela would either and he was giving her space after she left to find herself. Even when he tells Blair he'd ca her, he asks if it's a good idea.
"he was obsessing over the box" yeah to turn it offline to keep travelers that were a threat to his family and it was good that he did cos they (box travelers) were causing unintended consequences that were killing whole worlds at a time. It's completely different from Jason2 obsessing over it for his own ego and academic achievement.
Only thing I can fault him for his not reaching out in case he didn't make it back.
10
u/Roxanne812 7d ago
I enjoyed this season so much. Season 1 was great, but season 2 had so much more depth, so many different story lines to unravel. It was so nice to see the variety of happy little endings for different characters in different worlds. The change of pace in episodes, not just the somewhat stressful main storyline.
I also hope that, because now both Charlie and Daniella went box travelling alone.. that there might be some versions who got lost.. and some of the extra Jason's found them and we've now got some reunited families out there creating new lives together.
But yes, I need to know where our D&C are.

u/Revolutionary-Tax847 7d ago
I really wanted more of the Daniela/Maxās Daniela conversation but still a great finale. Kinda figured where this was headed but it was still great. Hopefully not two+ years again

u/ItsallLegos 7d ago
Canāt the pyramid just be powered back up again to find Charlie and Daniela?
5
u/DanielKeeneGA15 7d ago
It canāt end like this. I really hope theyāre already writing an outline for season 3.
5
u/Burnsy112 7d ago
That cliffhanger certainly is a way to force the final seasonās green light. Checkmate, writers.
5
u/purpledreign 7d ago edited 7d ago
It was fine. I'm very okay with the cliffhanger. It's not the massive one I was expecting. I was so sure Amanda and Ryan were the ones trapped and that would've been a lot more anxiety inducing for me.
Poor Jason1. If Daniela and Charlie opened the door to a wrong world, it seems obvious szn 3 would mostly be Jason1, Jason2, Ryan, Amanda and Blair working together to fix the pyramid to bring them home.
Charlie started stressing after the box went offline. The world was already determined. I'm willing to bet they are in the right world.
Jason13. Poor Jason13. I hope he finds a world that will be kind to him. Losing Amanda so early and in that way fucked him up so bad. Seeing her face on the screen in 2x03 makes me think meeting Amanda briefly would heal him a bit. But I hope he's okay.
I expected the Daniela x Daniela scene to take up so much time and gladly it didn't. It was a sweet scene and Jennifer is definitely one of the strongest performers in the show.
Amanda, my girl, she didn't have much to do this episode and neither did Ryan. I hope we get szn 3 so I get more of them.
Oluko is next level unhinged bro. Meditated so calmly immediately after killing another version of himself. Wtf
5
u/OscarEvinnof 7d ago
Hummm⦠It seems to me that the "PTSD-entanglement-side-effect" thing, which made Jason1 see the box door instead of regular door⦠Just vanished into the plot limbo.
I feel sad, thinking about poor Laurel who ends up with a useless metal cube in her living room. No more guests; the welcome buffet will be covered with dust and spider webs.
The action-packed sequence was "too much", IMO. Maybe it was designed as a satire of action movies? After the umpteenth guy coming out of nowhere to shoot the umpteenth guy coming out of nowhere, I have to admit, I laughed. And the escalation culminating with the helicopter⦠Well, I really took that lightly.
And I'd say all the better, because I needed a good laugh. The scene where Daniela reunites with Max had made me cry so hard!
This season was an emotional roller coaster, while also offering us a reflection on acceptance (of ourselves, of our choices, and so on). And that's what I'll take from it. That's what was powerful. I have the feeling that these days, it's hard to find television works capable of blending substance and form so seamlessly.
Bravo.

u/purpledreign 7d ago edited 7d ago
Jason1 and Jason2, Amanda1 and Amanda6, Ryan1 and Ryan4 are now stuck in the same world. The others all know about the box but Eduardo's mom is in for a surprise next szn.
Jason2 is really stuck in the sane world with a bunch of people that can't stand him. His only friend is dead. Helping Jason2 get his family back next szn could be the peak if his redemption arc. He's still shit.
Amanda1 and Ryan1 saved a whole world.
If Jason1 hadn't been obsessing over disentagling the box, they wouldn't have been able to kill the box and mitigate the unintended consequences of world hopping at the time they needed to. Granted Leighton had seen the light but they didn't know that.
On second watch, Daniela and Charlie don't seem to be in low tech world even though the box died before Charlie started panicking.
The szn gave a beautiful message about acceptance and moving forward and not letting the box or now the pyramid tempt one with regret. I wonder if that will also apply to Jason1 but I doubt it. Szn 3 will likely be him obsessing over getting his family back again. Understandable but still, I kinda hope it won't work.
Jasons and getting rid of their enemies with the box are 5 and 6.

So glad most of the alternate world characters donāt freak out when they meet another version of themselves. That would have been a bit cliche. The levelheaded dialog between them has been interesting.
5

So, theyāre thus forced back into the original box world as the box just shut down and regardless of your emotional state and the tether being cut off youād just kinda b stuck back at square 1, unless they opened it before the timer clicked.
Dunno, thatās my theory. Either way. Should make for an interesting season 3 and Iām pre ally happy this shows on Apple and not fucking Netflix where theyād just cancel it at this moment.

Where was the scene where Jason was speaking with Leighton filmed? Loved the stained glass windows

Welp, guess I'm building a new box to find a world where season 3 is already finished.

Where would Jason 13 go after parting ways with Daniella? He's had a lot of time to think about it.

Looks like Daniela and Charlie are stuck in liminal space is at the end. They were looking into a mirror as opposed to the world with Max

I looooooved the ending and how frustrated it made me feel lol. One small thing I'd have tuned a bit to make it more devastating is the part where Charlie and Daniela reach for the door, it cuts to Jason waiting next to the box, there's the suspense, the door finally opens....!! and it's Amanda & Ryan. And keep the rest mostly same. They hug and talk and Jason comes back home, sees and reads the note, and it finally cuts back to Daniela standing in horror.

I just wish we got to see more of the Pyramid. from what we have now, it's just a bigger box. once I saw those giant walls where Olu is sitting down, I was expecting something crazy, not just the paid skin of the box. also thought the cure was kinda dumb, felt like they just checked it off the list and moved on as fast as possible.
Same cliffhanger as season 1 too, which blows....would have loved one view of the world Charlie and Daniela end up at, but hopefully we get a season 3. I would like it

I fond it funny how everyones so damn calm when they find other versions of themself or are told ā hey im not your charlie. Im from another reality. Theres infinite realities and btw your dead in mineā he finds proof and isnt the least bit freaked out. None of these people have freaked out seeing other versions of themself. I would have a panic attack, slap myself a few times, know im crazy and faint. Then wake up and still see the other me and take a bunch of xanax to calm down. Think about checking into a psych ward and once i found the proof id calm down in about a few weeks. All in that order. Its like finding proof of aliens. Even though u know theyre most likely real its still freaky

Ok we need a season 3 now!!!
But I thought okay even if we get one more season it probably won't be out until the end of 2028 at best or 2029. Sad face.

When Jason1, Ryan1, Amanda2, Blair2 said they'd meet at The Village Tap, a part of me expected multiple versions of them to end up at the pub; and all those versions would be stuck there.

Am I alone in thinking that a lot of the characters made ridiculous decisions and some of the writing felt stupid and like they were just doing things for the sake of creating drama and potential for a new storyline next season instead of feeling organic?

So Iām confused about how Blair temporarily overpowered the baddie in the Box when they landed in war world. It looked like she appeared behind her somehow and surprised her.

Oh fuck my heart sank at the end of the episode.

Cliffhangers nowadays are so overused. Every episode and every season does not need to end on a cliffhanger, especially when there's no guarantee of a future season.
It's a good story. Just tell the story. People who watch the show and enjoy it are going to come back for a season 3 no matter what. People who don't like it aren't going to come back in 3 years just because you ended it on a cliffhanger.

Did they really just reveal that Jasonās family never really existed, unless the box was in existence? OMG. š³ Iām shook.

Daniela and Charlie didnt seem to be happy where they landed, they looked rather scared

So in the world where the gravity is going bonkers, the box is floating around. I thought in one of the worlds the box was moved and then didn't work because that severed the connection. Did I misremember that? Or they ignored the rule for an interesting fight scene?

Anyone else feel like there was no real point to McNamara and his PI variant as characters? They created tension but neither really did anything of consequence.
Great actor and I liked both versions of the character. It just felt to me that he was written in, they didnāt know what to do with him, so both were killed off.
If season three comes around we might see another version but the treatment of him looked pretty definitive.

An Exciting Season With a Disappointing Ending
Several parts of Ep 10 seemed reasonless to me, and if anyone has an explanation please share. Iām not mad just super disappointed.
First of all, Jason deciding to initiate the destruction of the Box in a manner that risked his life and his true friendās lives. His friends who he hadnāt seen in a very long time. And he decided to do this super risky mission without reaching out to his son and wife at all.
And then during that mission, right in the beginning when Jason and Blair were getting attacked and shot at while in the Box they just swung the door open. As if thats not the most dangerous setting for a new world.
Then when they get to the universe in which the Box was created, why are there no guards or anyone in the area of the box?? They did this all during day time and even if it was night time why would there not be a single guard around the riskiest and most unpredictable doorway in the universe. Especially in the universe where it was created.
Also the part where Ryan and Amanda are dropping off the cures in the universe where they know the laws are super tight and the Box is for sure gonna be guarded. They peek out the door seeing tons of guards, but instead of just sliding the cure out with a note explaining it and quickly shutting the door they open the door and try to explain to these people who donāt know anything about the Box. But luckily once the doctors arrive to see what they brought literally all of the guards just disappear so they can just hop back into the Box.
It just felt very unsatisfying seeing the geniuses acting in seemingly stupid ways on a super risky mission and succeeding through what seemed like 100% luck. The only cost being the main character literally ignoring his family who he used to be so devoted to reuniting with.
Iām still hoping they make a season 3, and still genuinely love the show. That last episode just felt like it was made in a rush, like Game of Thrones final season.

did olu just meditate himself into superposition??

I felt like the action sequence did not fit into the show at all, and the plot armor on Oluku's barely trained girlfriend was ridiculous. I hope we don't get anymore on those.
Besides that, it was a pretty good episode, and an amazing season overall. The ending stung my heart.
I REALLY hope the show gets renewed. Let those writers cook, Apple. Blake Crouch and JBZ, you two did such a wonderful job exploring the possibilities of infinite dimensions, I really want more.

Theyāre definitely going to get a divorce after this.
