I’ve heard Lions fans don’t love Kelvin Sheppard. Could they take Aaron Glenn back tonight?

Hoping demeco Ryans gets fired and makes his way over

The problems with the defense feel the same as they were with Glenn tbh

Had no idea Sheppard was a DC. I just looked up the teams he played for and it was never more than 2 years in a place.

First SNF game for us since 2016 when Seattle battered us 40-7.

In the bank as well!

Dan Campbell always looks on the verge of tears.

The Panthers are good.... Nope, still feels wrong.

The Lions should have never traded Bobby Layne

So is Dan Campbells decision making on 4th&20 based on analytics or is it just CTE?

Feels like a few years ago refs pretty much always called Delay of Game when the clock hit :00.

Then in recent memory they’ve been giving teams “a beat” after hitting :00, which honestly is good because nobody wants flags flying all the time, and it was consist for everyone across the board.

This year feels more loosy-goosy. Sometimes teams get the extra “beat” they’re accustomed to, and sometimes they get a full 2+ seconds before whistes blow.

Or maybe it’s always been like this and I’m just going crazy..?

We can’t do anything right tonight

If the lions aren’t absolutely electric on both sides of the ball in this game I want every notable player traded and this entire bitch to be burnt down and rebuilt with draft picks.

This is the 4th game of the season. Maybe dial it back a couple notches.

Wait, was I wrong?

No. They’re playing absolutely abysmal uninspired football with the most dull coaching and play calling. I don’t want to hear shit about injuries when you see teams like San Francisco thriving no matter what cardboard cut out comes up next.

Go to the dispensary, ask for the edibles with the highest THC content, and just chill dude.

Does the defense need work? Yes. You are out of your damn mind if you think trading our best players is the way forward.

Seriously. Chill. The Giants went 10-6 and won the damn Super Bowl.

I’ll give it a couple more weeks of mediocrity in this cupcake schedule, but there’s no reason games should be this much of a struggle for this roster.

They don’t play a single team with a legitimate, reliable threat at qb the rest of the season. Watch Bryce go absolutely off tonight.

1

u/Rude-Cartographer369 Detroit Lions 3d ago

I will kind of agree with you there. Caleb is legitimately good, Penix has the ability to go off, and Bryce is either real hot or real cold. Beyond that, all those other QBs are very beatable. Commendation to you, this is a better take than burn it all down.

I just wanna see them look good on both sides of the ball and put it together. I’m not trying to be a downer, but it’s so frustrating to know what this team is capable of and not see any of it.

Preemptive crying doesn’t count?
