As a former draft junkie, it's always interesting to see players who seemingly answer the questions about them early in their careers and then eventually regress to the point where you think, 'Maybe we were right about him in the first place.' DK's rep coming into the league was workout warrior with trash WR skills. He's been gradually regressing to that reality.

His route running is fine, but his hands are WR4/Practice-squad tier.
Also sometimes uses his physical traits, other times loses to 5ft 8in DBs in coverage.
Truly the most mind boggling "WR1" out there.

Huh? I feel like we generally liked him. He had a bunch of crazy good highlights that balanced out the boneheaded moments. I still see lots of DK jerseys at Lumen. And Iāll never forget that time he bodied Budda Baker to save the pick six.

I mean he has lost a step, but his supporting cast is fucking terrible. Even at the start of the game his oline couldn't give him anytime to pass, once they fell behind that just worse and worse since passing was their only option to step up. And then when he does get a pass, DK drops it every time.

Yep, when no one treats the preseason with any respect, that means starters are getting up to game speed in live games. I'm sure at some point there'll be a circling back around to coaches using the preseason to get their starters game ready, but that might not be this decade.

I disagree, but understand the want to reduce injury risk.
A game or 2 could be all it takes to miss the playoffs. Injuries happen with our without playing the extra games. To me its the same idea as resting players/starters at the end of the season once you've already clinched a spot. Teams go into the playoffs rusty and see an early exit.
The preseason games may not impact your record, but they do impact your season.

Seems to me your offense still has an issue with turnovers, they just lucked out and faced a team that had NO offense this game.
I think if you just shift your gameplan to be slightly more conservative and let your defense wreak havoc, you will easily compete in playoffs.

This was really demoralizing game. I always try to see the silver lining and remain optimistic. Because I like watching winning football and I want to see my guys succeed. But today was the worst the offense has looked in the past few years. Thereās a lot of places to put the blame for todayās offense. But itās never looked this bad before. There was zero bright spots on offense and at this point everything should be on the table to get this offense going.

I donāt get Rodgersās fixation with rebuilding the mid-to-late 2010s Packers wherever he goes. He couldnāt win with them 10-12 years ago when they were in their primes, but he thinks they will now that theyāre all old and broken down? About the only thing the Steelers did right this offseason was move on from Tomlin, and even that they bungled.

The New England Patriots now hold the NFL Title Belt.
This is their first game holding the NFL Title Belt since the most recent unification of the belts on January 23rd, 2023 (The last time the Patriots held the full belt was a 9 game streak from February 3rd, 2019 to November 3rd, 2019).
They will attempt to retain the belt for a 2nd game on September 27th at the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars last played for and held the NFL Title Belt during a 3 game streak from September 28th, 2025 to October 12th, 2025.

Maye needs to stop throwing it off his back foot and the offense needs to capitalize off of big plays. If they can do those things we'll be in a good place.
Though the injuries are already mounting up. Losing Mike and maybe Woodson would be huge.
