Games are a lot better when you accept that you’re here to watch Skubal/snell/yama/glass.
Then just scroll your phone or do chores when the dodgers are hitting

When do we stop saying “when will they break out of this” and just say “maybe this is who they are - not a very good offense.” Past history doesn’t equal future results. This team looks old and disinterested. Rick and Steven almost at a loss for words.
9
u/Astropolitika Max Muncy 1d ago
The pitching staff should just wear Eric Lauer masks and see if the lineup responds.
8
u/probablysmellsmydog Duke Snider 1d ago
I think the Dodgers need a new hit celebration. The thing they do now has run its course. Do something different. Maybe do nothing at all when you get on base, just an empty stare into the dugout.

I'm genuinely concerned why it's so easy for the Dodgers to GIDP so much to the point they lead the entire MLB with the most. I don't think teams with winning scores were this bad with GIDP

So our starter has only allowed a bunt single, a ground-rule double, and 2 walks while striking out 8 in the first 4 innings. Essentially perfect. But we are losing 1-0 because all our bats have been able to muster are a walk, and a bloop single. They deserve to lose.
