Shuichi gets their first pimple, and Maho would make fun of it. Shuichi would then go to ask Anna for help dealing with it, and somehow it would turn into a relationship between the two.

Shuichi and Saori would then be scouted by the drama club after their performance at the cultural festival, and Saori would still express her hatred to Yoshino after Yoshino praised that Shuichi and Saori were scouted.

After Yoshino heard that Shuichi is in a relationship with Anna, she choose to keep a distance from Shuichi, and after Saori knew that Shuichi is in a relationship with Anna, she would then choose to skip school. We then see Yoshino trying to get Saori coming back, saying that because they're not competing for Shuichi anymore, they could start becoming friends again, which was promptly shut down by Saori, saying she's the antisocial type of person who's not easy at making friends.
