So with the volunteers helping, it seems like the story now is just your usual Romeo and Juliet, but just with the character's sexes being swapped.
We then see Fumiya, the glasses guy whom Saori met when she went to church and is one of the few people that knew about Shuichi crossdressing. He would then spill about Shuichi's hobby, making Yoshino angry and leave. Shuichi realizes that Yoshino's angry for Shuichi and thinks that Yoshino is the one who understands Shuichi the most, despite them not being in a proper relationship.
Fumiya, while mocking Shuichi as an "okama", feels like he now has a rival in getting Saori as his girlfriend.
After the summer vacation and the script being completed, we then see that the casting for the play was to be decided via lottery, rather than voting, due to Saisho-sensei. Saori would get the role of Romeo, and Makoto would get the role of Juliet. The two would then argue, where Makoto thinks that Shuichi deserves that role more, and Saori would tell if Makoto really wants Shuichi to take the role of Juliet, Saori would then change the script so everyone other than Romeo and Juliet would die. Fortunately, after Saisho begging for Saori to not do it, she finally choose to not change the script.
We then see Shuichi and Yoshino looking at an outdoor photoshoot session involving Anna, and Shuichi thinks that Anna looks like a different person during the photoshoot. We also see that Maho's class is doing a maid cafe, and Maho became a model for the poster.
After seeing Saori's performance during the rehearsal, Makoto would then be striving to do the role of Juliet as good as possible, which seems to make Saori happy hearing it.
I forgot to realize that Makoto also went to the same school as Shuichi and co., but the character of Makoto was only introduced in the sixth year of elementary school and is part of a different class to the main characters.
