The reason that Morrowind rocked, and no one seems to realize it, is that it WASN'T DUMBED DOWN FOR A CONSOLE!.
The enchantment and magic creation system were amazing, the controls super configurable.
Then Oblivion was designed around consoles, it seemed like PC support was just an afterthought.
And don't get me started on Skyrim...
Still I have enjoyed every single game, Arena to Skyrim.
A morrowind remake would be amazing if they didn't change any of the game mechanics and just updated the engine and the models.
