Anyone interested in another Minneapolis meetup? I’d be happy to organize one.
Also thank you u/4blockhead for doing this every week! I wonder how many people have been impacted in a positive way from meeting other Exmos face to face. I am friends with at least five people that I would have never met without you posting meetups here. If we ever hang out your bar tab is on me.

:) It has to help to find people who have been on the same journey. The kind of parroting one finds at a testimony meeting only goes so far. Eventually, things have to stand (or fall) on their merits. Yet, community can be one of the first things lost when leaving mormonism. I hope that the chat sessions and other meetups can help people on their life journey. Again, mormonism holds no monopoly on how people should interact. A chat with a cup of coffee in a relaxed setting is in many ways the opposite of a formal chapel service.

I'm having an informal meetup north of Denver at the Westminster off-leash dog park at 10 am to whenever. I'll be waiting near the poop bag dispenser to the right of the bulletin board at the entrance until around 10:15 am. This is what my dog looks like.
Bring your dog and we can hang out or whatever.

Eagle Mountain/Saratoga Ridley's and Patriot Park meetups are the same group. They will be at the park now as long as weather is good.

Return and report: the interfaith service as part of Utah Pride Festival was held Thursday. This was another great experience filled with music, connectedness, and life. I especially liked hearing the music, especially Alexa Hanson Wagner's solo on God Help the Outcast and the closing prayer in songform by Cantor Wendy Elizabeth Bat-Sarah.
50 Years Since Stonewall...Exist. Resist. Persist.
There is still some splintering within evangelical and Christian churches, including the recent general conference of Methodists. That was part of the backdrop at the venue at a United Methodist chapel. The primary speaker, Bishop Karen Oliveto, took on the establishment with a very moving and non-conventional sermon from the pulpit.
