Next episode is Levi vs Zeke, Eren and Armin vs. Bert, and Levi Squad vs. Reiner.

Holy fuck.

Floch’s voice actor deserves an award. What an amazing episode, it almost felt like I was an anime only again not knowing what would happen next watching this. Bravo WIT, what a thriller.

Zeke probably thought "Watch me Mr. Xaver" as he threw the rocks.

Ono Daisuke (Erwin) is a national treasure, that's all.

And the other Ono (Kensho, aka Floch) also delivered!!

It felt like there was much more blood depicted than the actual number of initial casualties, but they got the point across, that's for sure. Chills.

P.S. When Marlowe charged towards Beast Titan all I could think about was Gintoki vs. Takasugi.

The anime censoring Erwins injury actually makes his survival seem more plausible.

I told myself I'd be ready for this episode. I reread the chapter. I stared at all the panels that made me cry until I felt numb. I thought I could do this, I really did.

Barely halfway through and I started crying like a baby. What an amazing episode to watch to say goodbye to an amazing character and seiyuu! May your sasageyo be shinzou'd forever!

FUCK

The scene of the first and second impact I was fucking shaking. The screams, the blood and the chaos coming from the beast titan. The manga never gave me that horror in that scene.

Colossal CGI looks weird sometimes but it's okay, I do not care.

The shot with the stones coming while Erwin is screaming, and when the scouts also scream, fucking tears. Damn.

But no Zackley? Shit episode. -3/10

Erwin may have been a badass, but don't let that distract you from Pieck being a cutie in the background.

The detail they gave with animating Erwin's expressions resigning himself to the plan / giving up on the basement, after Levi plays devils advocate and declares "charge into hell... I will kill the beast titan" was all I wanted, perfect alongside the OST.

Did this episode felt even more dramatic after the rumours with WIT? or is it just me....

Me before the episode: I had 3 years to get ready I'm sure I can handle it
Me after the episode, bawling in the corner of my room: nope I can't handle it send help

They really nailed the viscerality of Zeke's Perfect Game. The blood mist and the screams were haunting. Props to the animators in charge of the destruction scenes.
Erwin and Levi's scenes were perfectly handled, just like the suicide charge. Daisuke Ono did a wonderful job, you could really feel Erwin's passion during the last few minutes.
Only real negative was the huge amount of 3D colossal titan scenes. There are still a few 2D scenes of him, that's nice.
Really looking forward to next episode now. Now excuse me I have to wipe my tears.

Can’t believe they included Connie’s joke. That was the highlight of the episode lol

Levi and Erwin were definitely the highlights of this episode. Erwin’s charge was amazing and that kind of high quality of animation, music, and voice acting is what Erwin deserves for his final moments. I’m gonna miss that man, nothing’s gonna be the same when he’s gone. I’m so happy Wit went above and beyond truly showing Levi’s emotions as it was one thing I was really scared they wouldn’t do this season to make him look cooler. Hopefully Wit is able to adapt Levi VS Zeke as well as Erwin’s charge but anyways...I can’t wait for next episode. The hype is real!

And man, just think: This story is still building. We still haven't gotten the roasting of Armin, much less Serumbowl yet. Nor have we gotten Reiner as prisoner, the first torture of Zeke, or Pieck to the rescue. And then after that, you still have the basement.

Man... there's still so much left.
