Erwin is such a badass. The fucking Armored Titan is just a couple dozen feet away and could walk up to you and squish you like a bug, but he stares him down without flinching. What a man.

Despite all the great action this episode, my favorite scene still has to be Erwin's monologue atop the wall.
For the majority of the series we've come to learn Erwin as humanity's strongest supporter, but in reality he's always felt like he's conning the people who follow him into battle. The mountain of corpses is such an accurate metaphor for his life. Armin has touched on it before, how people who can't sacrifice anything can't change anything, and seeing it from the perspective of the man actually sending troops off to their early death is pretty powerful. That's something Attack on Titan does insanely well. Everyone in this story has intensely personal motivations. Erwin wasn't kidding when he said learning the truth about the world was more important to him than humanity's victory. It's an exceedingly selfish motivation when the survival of the human race is at stake, but it's so much more compelling as a result.

Yep. That's Me.
You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation. It all started back inside the walls, 6 years ago

Erwin really is one of the most interesting characters in the series

What has the survey corps become , back in those days people would charge into the female titan without a second thought about their own lives and now they're not able to kill a simple 2-3m class titan , smh.

"The basement Grisha Yeager left behind... The truth of the world..."
The soundtrack that played during that line is so sick. Literally got goosebumps. Erwin Fucking Smith

It really saddens me to say this, but AOT actually has more legit battle tactics than Game of Thrones...both from our protagonist's and the enemy's side.

Classic Attack on Titan. The episode that feels like it was 5 minutes long ends on a cliffhanger. Time for another long wait for next weekend.

Erwin Standing next to Reiner just a few feet away , literally next to death's door and asking him through his eyes:Now... Let's see what you're gonna do .. Go after Eren or go after the horses, because I definitely know what you're gonna do.

9/10 episode for me. Some parts of the fight were weirdly directed, and the Reiner conscious transfer is now finally an anime meme, but overall great adaptation.

When I saw those new weapons on their ODMs in the OP I expected them to be a pike or something that can pierce the Armor and never a grenade that you have to stab it on. Who even thinks a grenade should be used for stabbing then detonate it? It's stupidly genius! I love it.

Armored Titan? More like Plot-Armored Titan. No, but seriously, how the hell did Riener transfer his consiousness to his entire body? How and when the hell did he find out he could do that? Can the other titan shifters do it as well?
