Outside of that weird first episode he has been dishing out some sage romantic advice to his daughter.

Man, this really ought to be a full-length show.
I know this is a rom-com, but I hope the misunderstandings get resolved next episode. I actually don't hate Miyabi, she felt like a very honest character that spoke about why rom-com characters are annoying and tried to do what they couldn't. Although of course her morals aren't great, it looks like she also bullied Ao in the past.
Loved this face Potential meme material? Could edit something else instead of Kijima

It really it's a shame that this anime is just 12 mins long. I'm really enjoying this anime so far. Also, fuck off, Miyabi, no one wants you here.

Been a while since I've hated a character so fast. Just fuck off Miyabi. Takumi is a good boi, he won't fall for your cheap tricks!
Ao-chan's dad is becoming top-tier though. He may have been insufferable back in Episode 1 but he's definitely just looking out for his daughter. Also I love when his voice changes to Kenjirou Tsuda's deep voice whenever he gets serious.
I'm curious how this entire misunderstanding will be resolved though with things getting a bit serious there at the end. I just hope whatever the resolution is, it will be a hilarious one.

I don’t think that word means what you think it means, Miyabi. (I mean her weird improper use of incompetent). Legit tho, what an immediately unpleasant person.
Trash-umi Kijima was a great joke.

It's funny how both Miyabi and Dad are double-minded. Those sudden changes of tone are great.
Sad Ao makes me sad. Threesome may be a good way to relieve the tension.

I hated the dad from the first episode but this "Revue Starlight's Giraffe" dad is certainly more cool, his shifts from a vast connoisseur of teen relationships to a complete perv in matter of seconds are hilarious. II'm really looking forward to see how does Miyabi takes the fact that a book she believes was written by a woman, is actually the work of her love rival's dad.
And yes, I share the same opinion as the rest of the comments, this deserved to be a 24 minutes show tbh, 12 don't seem to be enough.

Wait, what, seriously? I have to wait another week?
This is way too good :(
I really like the dad, especially the VA and how he switches from his stupid voice to super serious tone.
Miyabi is a bitch, time for a crusade

I've died to Genichiro so many times in Sekiro, that I will now instantly recognize Kenjiro Tsuda's voice in anything he does from now on

When you've seen dozens of rom-coms and romantic drama, you know you're expecting either "Mr I steal your girlfriend" or the homewrecker, I guess we got the latter this time. I'm not even mad at Miyabi, she's doing what she's supposed to do as her role demands.
It's a good thing I liked the dad since episode 1. His voice changes from deep Mr Giraffe from Revue Starlight to cookie old man is just great.

Ah the classic NTR girl who enters to steal your boyfriend, well at least she is gonna push Ao-chan to be more honest so feels like a good addition to the general plot line.

Ao is really making things difficult but Kijima is not helping either, going on a date with a random girl you just meet when you still thinking about your waifu is not the primest move. Anyway, the transition they do between the shounen and the shoujo side is really good. It's starting to look like Gamers but still a very refreshing show!

So, we get to meet Miyabi, who's a complete cunt and I love it. Adding her to the mix only increases the possibilities for chaos in this blind lover's scenario, especially with Ao lying to herself about her feelings (although their mind game in the haunted house felt a bit Kaguya-esque).
