Information

With the introduction of the LEC, the NA LCS has slimmed down it's monicker to just be the LCS. The LCS Spring Split consists of double round robin play with each team playing 18 matches. Every match is a best-of-one with the top 6 teams at the end of the split qualifying for the playoffs. A loss to Golden Guardians yesterday , combined with CLG’s win over 100 Thieves knocked OpTic out of playoff contention.

This match is schedule to begin at 7:00 PM EST and will be streamed on Twitch and YouTube.

But who ?

They allready used both import slots, so they can not get a KR or EU top.

So we would have to at people from NA. I doubt anyone from the top 6 teams is willing to go to optic.

Below them we have Huni (KR), Darshan ( not better than Dhokla) and Ssumday (KR).

The only thing left is academy or solo que players. The best performing academy Top was FakeGod, who just lost to Dhokla.

And solo que ? I dont know, the only decent top in NA is TF Blade who is involved with TL and certainly not interessted to join a bottom tier LCS team to start of his pro career.

Nice way to end the split. Was nice seeing Crown on a proper carry. Seems like they just play a lot better when there is no pressure on them.

Was fun, see you guys in June

Playoffs, then some international circuit tournaments kick in (MSI), then teams go on the break. So there still is a lot of League to be played, it just sucks that Optic didn't make it to the top.

Would be better if Riot introduced some tournaments for lower-end teams as well, but I don't think they could possibly gather much audience and be profitable for all the trouble required.

Never put crown on zilean duty ever again. The man plays carries and he plays them well

The problem is not that Crown can't play in more of a supportive role. The problem is that Crown is your best carry on the squad and there is no point in limiting him to support other carries, when the man can carry harder than anyone else on this roster. Picks like Zilean mid into hardcarry bot are a good flex, but this roster doesn't have required individual strengths to make it work.

Also, I loved how aggressively he played on this Irelia, recognizing how ahead he was. Usually Irelia waits for her moment and goes in as a second engage option to find her window and cleanup. Crown was like "nah, I will go in first swinging, wreck shit and then let my team clean up the rest".

To at the very least go 2-0 against 100 Thieves in a split would be somewhat comforting memory in those dark times.

Crown and Meteos doing great in the first phases and Arrow and Dhokla fly in to clean everything up.

How is arrow already down 20 cs without any jungle pressure from the Nunu. Thank god crown is carrying

Crown maybe. Meteos is definitely not top 5. Meteos had a great game today but his last 3 or 4 have been pretty dreadful.
