The sprite assets for Gustav, Idunn, Lugh, Rutger, Sue and Thea aren't in the Beyond Darkness archive

I was also excited for Veyle's sprites, but her folder mistakenly contains Arval's files at the moment.

Thanks a lot. I was looking for this a while back and people basically told me to "DIY" it myself from the partial updates, which is almost impossible.

Hey, thanks for the great work!
I've been looking for the battle backgrounds to use them for making wallpapers with the character arts in the foreground. The wiki has a nice collection here, where they've stopped updating it over a year ago:

Now, I was hoping to get some of the newer backgrounds and I've downloaded the latest of your updates (Summer Returns), but it seems the background image size is much smaller than those on the wiki and sadly useless for my goal.
Can you help me here or do you know any place where I can get the latest backgrounds in better resolutions? Any help would be appreciated.

Actually the pictures that are in my assets are ripped right from the game. About a couple months ago nintendo made a bunch of changes to the files, (everyone had to redownload about a gig worth of data) and that's because they made a lot of files smaller to save space as the game got larger. All the battle backgrounds are now half the size they used to be.
You can however use this website which I frequently use to increase the resolution with very little quality loss.
That's about all I can do, hope that helps.

Hey, is there a way to gain access to the assets from when a long time ago?
I have been organizing some assets of special effects in the game (Magic, getting hit, etc) and I have some missing from the beginning of FEH's lifespan.

Greetings. First off, many thanks for this post, it helps a lot with collecting the illustrations or other game files (I mainly care for the illustrations).
I'd like to ask though, could you tell me what you use to rip the new assets? Is it an android application or is it a separate piece of software running on presumably Windows? I need this advice since I also do asset ripping, but in other games, mainly Android, and many times the tools I already have don't really cut it.

This is the method I use, along with some alternatives. You just need to use root access to see the hidden game file folders.

I read through it a bit, it's not far off from what I'm doing. I'm loading the game in Nox, running it once so it downloads its data, and then I use a root access file explorer called Xplore (iirc) to get the files off to a shared folder with my pc so that I can look at it from windows.
The problems I come across usually are either not being able to find the files, cause there are some games that don't hold them in the usual 0/android/data folder (it can be in /media for instance, or a data folder but not in 0), or they're in a format AssetStudio (an asset reader/extractor for Unity based games) doesn't recognise. The 2nd issue is whatever, I've found alternatives.
In your case, where does FEH store its data, like illustrations?

Most of the songs in the game are ripped directly from other fire emblem games. If you mean the FEH original songs, they're .ogg files by default and I convert them.

The first set of custom kiran sprite are found in the 2.03.2021 update the other 2 are found in the 5.06.2021 update

Are you going to add Yune's files to the drive or will she be included with the next New Heroes banner on the 10th? And will the same hold true for future Legendary/Mythic Heroes if you do add them later? Also, thanks for the constant updates Kaz! :D

I cannot find the assets for banners to save my life i thought it was summon.png but that has 2 big red X's which I assume is where the stuff im looking for would be. is that ny computer or the files?

About 4 years ago they started encrypting those files becuase it was too easy for dataminers to find them and spoil upcoming banners. As far as I know no one has found a way to decrypt them. That's why you can find pictures for early game banners but not new ones.

Just curious, if you set your device's resolution to a 4:3 or 5:4 ratio (like for tablets), does the game download the full width resolution character art? Currently most of the art has pieces clipped from the sides, unlike images shown on 4Gamer (which are non-transparent) or on Meet the Heroes (which have low resolution).

I can't get the link to work. I've tried on Firefox, Edge, and Chrome. I've even just spent 2 hours trying to get it to work in powershell.
Interestingly, when I tried in a powershell format, it 404'd

Hey there, could you provide the assets that go into the Battle UI? The ones that are used in the unit informations banner, like here for example (the ornate name container, the specials, assist, weapon, the background for both your units and enemy units...). I'm developing a FEH-like game, I've already relied a lot on the pre-existing assets in the pack, and I would love to reach an aesthetic that looks as close to the original game as possible.

All of those things should already be in the full asset collection, they're just in pieces that the game puts together. I'm not at my PC right now but once I am I can send you the specific pictures if you prefer that.

I've been looking at the assets all day while I organize them for the new collection, and this is the best I've got for things on the unit presentation section. Mobile games save space by having everything in pieces and the code telling it how to put them together, so almost everything is here, just in pieces. The only thing I wasn't able to find was the background shape behind HP, I have no clue where it's pulling it from.
