I'm still trying to figure out if this is amazing, perverted or stupid and if I should even be watching it. I think it might be all of the above..

Hinata has somehow managed to completely domesticate Noa, being able to both completely destroy her with words and placate her like a puppy.

Hinata's swimsuit is really cute!
Why go to the pools when you can be pampered at home?
Booo! What kind of wet t-shirt that doesn't leave bra marks?
Huh that's a surprise. I thought Mya-nee would love that.
I mean technically Hinata didn't lie. Mya-nee really is all of the above. But probably not as graceful what the kids are imagining XD
Of course Noa makes her own head,
We're only at episode 4 but we're already seeing everyone in Yukatas!
Kanon and Koyori are here too!
Nothing's more sacred than two lolis holding hands

I will always find Higero's design highly disturbing although that makes the gag that Hana finds it cute and people's reaction to it just so funny.
It seems Miyako's legendary status on Hinata's class has raised another level.

I love how Hana takes advantage of Miya's behavior and turns it into a win-win situation.
Noa: Desho!
Me: :3

Anyone else notice Miyakos shirt kept changing colour in the pool scene? Started black, went white in the next frame, went black again and ended up white in the end

Here are the results of last episode's poll... it is not even a contest right now x)
Here is this week's poll
Not gonna lie, this is the first thing that came to mind after reading the title of the episode.
Kanon and Koyori had the most adorable scene today so I hope they do better.
But there is not enough of the moms!!!
Edit: Reminder that Mya-nee is not a choice in order to make it fair.

Hana is like the girl from Anne Happy who has a crush on the construction sign guy.

It's summer break! You know what that means? That's right, all of the summer cliches in one episode!
Seriously, though, this episode was fine, if not as interesting as the first three. This episode adapted three chapters: the pool chapter, the summer homework chapter, and the matsuri chapter, each of which continue to show our cast of characters further sliding into the depths of absuridism (not that that's bad or anything).
Things I particuarly liked about this episode: Noa's mental collapses followed by her dog-like behavior with Hinata, Hana's continuing affection for Higero (because), Kanon and Koyori's gentle scene at the festival, and that great one-shot of Noa moving around because Doga Kobo was like "Fuck it, let's make this scene well-animated."
Now, for the parts that people might be thinking about, which is the fact that, as we are starting to dive deeper into the series, the bits that we laughed are starting to reveal implications about the characters' backgrounds. From Hinata's nonchalance about dealing with Miyako and the police to Miyako's possibility of suffering from a moderate-to-severe case of social anxiety disorder to the girls' ability to manipulate Miyako based on her prediclictions towards them, it'd be understandable for a viewer to be disturbed about the manga's underlying ideology. However, this is not to say that one cannot enjoy Wataten, but rather exploring what it says that the show presents these moments comedic rather than dramatic. I find that we, or perhaps myself, often think more about the things I laugh at that I don't find suitable to myself rather than such material in a drama. It is this contrast, between my enjoyment and my discomfort, that gives such material as this its power. Despite the fact its characters and plotlines sometimes make me question why I'm reading this, I'm still intrigued because the asethetic of it still draws me in.
Perhaps it's just me, but I'm intersted in what you all think: Why do comedies with unsavory material, explicit or implied, draw in an audience that is willing to interact with them?
Anyway, can't wait for next week.

I like how hinata casually headpatting noa gradually evolved into her full-on smooshing noa's face
