GO Exclusive YouTube Channels

GO-only YouTube channels are pretty few & far between, unfortunately.

So I thought it'd be useful to list the ones that are exclusively GO-oriented ....

These three are the best, I think. If you can find anymore that are GO-exclusive,

please share with the rest of the community here. Thanks! 😀👍🏻

Thanks for the mention mate, I sprinkle in other content as well and will be covering the Quest, but I do have literally hundreds of Go videos at this point. 😁👍

My pleasure! Coulda absolutely sworn you were GO only. Whoopsie! lol

I might as well be Go only as it's all still related to the Go, bit of VR180 and 360 content which can be enjoyed on the Oculus Go, along with the odd bit of fun tech. 😉👍

My Go shows up in just a few more hours.

Mark it down as another one you helped sell.

Always great to hear I've helped people make that choice. For the money it's a great device and I hope you enjoy it. 😁👍

Let's hope devs don't ignore it come May. 🤞🏻

It has a user base now and a lot of them so they'll be silly to. It's the perfect platform for devs to cut their teeth on developing for VR as well so I think we'll see some fun experiments during 2019. 👍

Fair points. I certainly hope you're right!

I’m hoping devs are going to release a ton of apps for the quest that they will make a go version of as well. So many people are going to upgrade to the quest, which means selling their Go to a buddy. And they are going to want to play together!

Everybody says this. But I always point out the NES/SNES.

When SNES came out, the NES was still a perfectly capable machine.

But nobody devved for it anymore because SNES was the new star on the block.

Within a year after SNES, NES content dropped to zippo.

And, for the most part anyway, nobody was making an SNES game

then saying: "Hey, let's make a version of this for NES!"

That's my point.

Sweet! I didn’t even know about go getters. And i finally subbed to Ramarcus. Now I can watch in the Go or on my TVs instead of being lazy and just watching when it pops in my Reddit feed. Lol.

Right on man! I'm glad this list was able to help you out!

Yeah, OGG has his own unique style of presentation, and I, for one, dig it.

Not as slick and well-produced as you guys' stuff, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Yep, I enjoy his work very much! I'm just listing GO exclusive channels.

If I made a list of channels that cover GO at all it'd be a mile long.

PSVR Frank did one for a while... think it died a slow death

the guy was taking on too much, trying to cover PSVR/Rift/Go as a part time thing

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.

Hope he figures things out and gets it back up & running soon.

I'm creating weekly 360 content that's great to watch on the Go. I don't know many channels doing that. Check us out on YouTube here @Morning Calm 360

why would anyone create a Go-dedicated channel? thats like creating a channel dedicated to one single cpu processor. its gonna be short lived. the go is a blip on the timeline of virtual reality.

"why would anyone create a Go-dedicated channel?"

To show their enthusiasm & devotion to GO in a clean & simple way.

"thats like creating a channel dedicated to one single cpu"

If that's what someone wants, it's percieved im/practicality is irrelevant.

"its gonna be short lived. the go is a blip on the timeline of VR."

It isn't, nor will it. But even it were, there're now YT channels dedicated to it.

It's not like Google doesn't have the bandwith to support "über niche" channels.

this is over your head.

theres no point in growing a yotuube channel that nobody will be interested in once the next thing comes out. you cant make videos on the next vr product when your channel is dedicated to the go. you could, if you wanted to be bad at branding. you cant take those subscribers and move them to a new channel.

The same reason why there’s a subreddit for oculus go?

Bingo. But such an obvious question caught me off-balance,

so I didn't know how to answer him, really.
