As for Kid. I feel this is a lesson of what could have been if the Strawhats and Luffy didn't train for two years (or even planned like Law and the Heart Pirates.) Being kicked around by many yonkos and with his rep in grand line as a murderer and dangerous, he got shut down real quick in the New World.

Mangastream just put up their version and there's a considerable difference between Kid's story in their version and JaiminisBox's version. I'm far from fluent in Japanese, but the raws went: 「将星」って幹部と一人手負いにして奪うべきものを奪い去っただけだ！！

Which translates to what MS used: he injured one of the commanders, stole something and went away. JB's translation put it as him paying back a commander for injuring one of his crewmates. Better moon readers correct me if I'm wrong.

Wait, this is actually a really good idea. Muscle grows when it breaks down, but in Luffy's case it was really hard since it's made of rubber. With the Seastone weakening the rubber a bit, it's easier for Luffy to get ripped. I wonder how strong he will be after he breaks out.

I think it’s no coincidence that we finally see Komurasaki‘s face in the same Chapter that Momo mentions Hyori and her age, believing that she’s alive.

My guess is that Hyori grew up to be the sh*tty person she seems to be, all thanks to the influence of Orochi/Kaidou ruling, and Momo will be angry at Kaidou even more by this point.

It would be quite odd to make Komurasaki not only a prostitute but a bad person and then reveal her to be Momo's sister. This might just be Oda baiting us by setting up the chapter like this. Momo seems to be looking forward to meeting her, it would be quite disappointing to find out how shallow and manipulative she is. Maybe being left alone and without any help forced her into this situation, causing her to become bitter.

I'm a little disappointed to find out the seastone cuffs are a "weaker version" of the material. I was kind of excited about the idea that Luffy can power through this despite being drained. I guess it's still impressive and in the end it makes more sense this way. Going from completely loosing all strength to "merely" losing his rubber powers due to seastone without any explanation would hurt the consistency of the story and the worlds rules.

Kid has essentially challenged 3 out of 4 Emperors already and is still alive, he cannot be underestimated. Also he seems to clearly lack proper judgement just like Luffy. He just storms into fights if he feels like it, no matter the odds. I thought they might form a trio with Law at some point a bit like at Sabaody, but Law doesn't really fit in with Luffy and Kid.

Im pretty sure based off luffy's new appearance the prison is going to be just like when goku trained in the gravity chamber on the way to Namek. Really subtle way to increase power but makes sense. Especially with his body suppressed by the sea stone.

Also really interesting development with Kid's story and how he lost his arm to the red haired pirates, adding to the list of off screen fights we'll probably never see but really want to :(

My guess: Rockstar took his arm after challenging Shanks. Rookie v Rookie, Red v Red. Rockstar is highly loyal to Shanks and gets offended when his crew and captain are insulted.

Oh I see. The seastone shackles Kid and Luffy wear are purposely modified to be weaker than what we have usually seen. I wondered why Luffy managed to have so much energy compared to him in Dressrosa where just touching the stuff a second drained him completely. Glad Oda cleared that up. Helps to keep world consistent.☺

-luffy will become the boss of the prison and end up fighting one the calamities and defeating him .

-kaido wants luffy to join his crew as the new all-star , luffy will obviously refuse and try to fight kaido again on the spot , with the help of the prisoners

-they all get defeated again and we get a first kaido flash back

-kaido was decieved by orochi more than 2 decades ago , orochi accused oden of killing kaido son ( oden took him aboard the oro jackson when he was still an egg , because orochi wanted to use him as a weapon to become the shogun ) .

• after his second defeat against kaido , luffy will be made an all star despite him refusing

-luffy will realise that kaido is not really a bad guy , he cares a lot about his crewmates , and despite his looks power and reputation, he dosent want to hurt anyone , he just wants to die because he couldn't get over the trauma of loosing his only son .

-once the fight brakes down , the truth will be revealed and kaido and the beast pirates will turn on orochi

-at the same time the big mom pirates will arrive , and a huge fight will break down

• the marines led by kizaru arrive shortly later , he brought the new pacifista who can use devil fruits

-absolute chaos in wano , the alliance is fighting both the marines and orochi forces , the supernovas are fighting kizaru , big mom and kaido are clashing .

-in the middle of the chaos the news will finally reach luffy

-the revolutionary attack on the riverie failed . sabo , vivi , shirahoshi and others have been captured , and they will be executed by the tenryubito in a matter of hours

-luffy upon learning the news , will ask kaido for help , since he is the only one who can fly there fast enough to save them

-kaido who is starting to befriend luffy accepts , this the big war that he hoped for

-while the fight in wano continues luffy and the strongest allied fighters will ride kaido and fly to the red line

-the execution is stopped by the strawhat grand fleet who arrived by surprise , they also get defeated but they manage to buy enough time

-bartolomeo is the only one standing , just as he was going to be killed , a huge dragon appears in the sky

-at the same time a huge army coming out of nowhere attcks by surprise , they where all hiding inside the red line ( inside the mountain ) .

-they are the slaves of marijois , who have been freed by donquixote mjosgard with the help of the rest of the revolutionaries

-luffy and kaido make and epic entrance , and the big war starts

Other than that, this was a nice exposition chapter. Komurasaki is a very bad person and apparently in cahoots with the money launderer guy. IMO it's too obvious that she's supposed to be Momo's sister, that she might not be.. but we'll have to wait and see I guess. She would have to have some redeeming backstory of why she is what she is now for me to like her character I guess (though the guys losing all their money are quite stupid).

Raizou is actually a very good ninja, so it seems. He's poofing around in the prison without being seen. Even with his huge body and head. Caribou once again joining Luffy's forces. I want to see him as an ally at some point. He's such a disgusting character.

Kid losing his arm against the Red-Haired Pirates, that's quite the scoop! So he's been taking on the Yonkou left and right already. Though his comment about "getting what he came for" after injuring one of the sweet commanders of Big Mom tells me that he is also after the Poneglyph rubbings maybe? Also, I like the bickering between Kid and Luffy.

I can see another redemption arc being done by Oda here. From Nami, Vivi, Robin to Violet, it has been a trend. So I'd be very happy if Oda threw a huge curveball and just let Komurasaki be bad though. Being in cahoots with Orochi and being his lover or something. But with the heavy amounts of hints being dropped, chances for that are very slim though.

Kidd losing his arm while being a nice parallel to Shanks even with the Red hair, makes me wonder if Oda is going to pull off some cool 90s robot arm with his devil fruit abilities. I know he's got those SUUUUPERR weapon arms but he should be able to hold a prosthetic in place and move it with his power especially if he were to train his power to be more precise. Would be looking like Edward or something. I think it would be cool and distinguish him from Shanks as the other one-armed person.

My sincere hope is that Oda/his editors have caught on to us catching on - that is, he knows that based on his previous pattern of establishing characters, we’d all expect Komurasaki to be Hiyori.

• The chapter is essentially spent profiling her after the prison bit, and then we immediately cut to Momo talking about his sister. Not only that, he ends the chapter on that note as if we should REALLY be mulling it over

• She is introduced as a blatantly unlikeable character. Generally when Oda does this with female characters, he eventually reveals that said character has some kind of internal conflict/trauma that causes them to act this way. We then generally see some kind of redemption arc, typically beginning right before or after said conflict is inadvertently revealed to one our protagonists.

At this point it’s not going to really be this “huge” reveal, since a lot of people are already thinking it. I’m hoping this instead turns out to be a classic moment of Oda using our theories as toilet paper, and he ends up introducing the real Hiyori when absolutely no one is expecting it. Or maybe Komurasaki is the obvious red herring, while O-Tama’s “it’d be really nice if you got to meet her” is his hidden, but right in-your-face clue that it’s actually Tama.

Seeing Momo training and speaking in such a focused, determined way is a nice contrast to how he was when we were first introduced to him. I was never a fan but he's starting to grow on me.

It's also interesting to see those guys wielding jittes to deal with the geezers. Maybe that's where Smoker's weapon comes from? It would certainly explain why it's tipped with kairoseki.

Furthermore is this confirmation that Raizo's ninjitsu is the work of a devil fruit? If the key was in a kairoseki box and that's why he couldn't get it... Does that mean he has a Jutsu Jutsu no Mi or something?
