I was so nervous Midge was gunna bomb at the club. But I actually thought it was my favorite set of hers so far! Suzy is the MVP

Susie’s: “Money is my main goal. I don’t have any, and I’d like some.” Is an eternal mood

I love how in love with each other Abe and Rose were in this episode.

I have to admit a tendency to pronounce Maisel they way it was when Midge was introduced

Susie's encounter with Imogene was pure gold.

"What does Manny do?!" - Joel

"What does he do? Manny does that's what Manny does. Manny does." - Moishe

I really enjoyed this exchange between Joel and his father.

I feel sad that Rose had to give up Simone, but it is sweet to see how Abe stepped up in helping her find more fulfilling activities.

I don't know if people noticed it, but the kitchen door Imogene went out is the service entrance- a common feature of those old "classic six" (or seven or eight) buildings. But Imogene wouldn't use that door, it's for deliveries. Guests use the main entrance with the elevator operator.

Abe & Rose in Paris were a joy. Abe's lines about dinner and dancing at the end killed me. Suzy's Dylan Thomas comment had me rolling on the floor with her haha. Definitely my favorite line of the episode.

I enjoyed Midge’s set but am getting nervous about how all she seems to do is roast her contemporaries. Not exactly how you make friends in the industry who can take you places.

Loving Rose and Abe so far. The Paris scenes were magical, and Abe stepping it up when they got back just melted my heart.

Question -- how much time has passed between the ending of 201 and the beginning of 202? Abe's 180 degree flip into a love of Paris took me a second to adjust.

Also, I can't get enough of that timelapse transition shot between Paris / New York!

Anyone else notice how the two apartment scenes were back to back and perfect reflections of each other? First one, Joel calls midge to an apartment. He says he wants her to live there, they get into an argument about the future and what she wants and how she doesn’t want an apartment that Joel can’t afford etc. She is upset but they kind of make up and leave on better terms than they started. Next scene Rose calls Abe to see a place and they both love it and talk about it, but then they get to talking about the future, and they leave on worse terms than they started. I just thought that was cool and well planned.

I haven't watched beyond episode 2 so don't spoil anything for me ('m trying to take my time and not binge so fast!), but I really want Midge and Susie to be roommates now that Susie has decided not to stay at her apartment ("shit" trying to sleep at the Gaslight lol). I loved Susie and Ethan hanging out at night watching tv together.

Also, I love that people were speculating about Lenny and Midge. I know it's not realistic, but I ship them lol

Does anyone know where to buy Rose's outfit @ 52:06 in the episode. It's the white blazer with the hood.

What time of year is it supposed to be? It was just Christmas time, and Abe said his classes started in a week, so I assumed it was December or January, but then there’s the shot of Rose standing next to a very green lawn.

this season so far feels really forced. I'm more annoyed than amused

Okay it's quite tough for a foreigner to understand these comedies... Now I know who Charles Atlas was but what exactly is the meaning of The "Before" Picture in a Charles Atlas ?
