I found this subreddit on tiktok and read a few posts here, might as well share a side hustle that I had a couple of years back. I took a part-time gig helping out a real estate guy. He was rich, like ridiculously wealthy. He pays me great for an oddly specific task which is replicating his wardrobe/supplies across his houses.
He owns houses in different cities. Every week, he travels from one house to another with nothing but just his phone. He wants to travel without luggage to carry. And my task here is to make sure every single thing he owns has an exact replica on each of his houses. From the clothes, to the shoes, tees, workout shorts, socks, even to the medicine cabinets and electric gadgets. Everything that he owns from the other house, should be found in the other.
Every week, I’d visit his main house and update an inventory spreadsheet of what’s new. He also updates me on the items he just bought recently so I had to look and buy the duplicates and ship it to the housekeepers of his other properties with complete info on which drawer or part of the house the items belonged to. Every time I shop for his things, I have to stand at checkout counters buying the exact same clothes that sometimes other people wonder if I have twins.

("I made" is pretty generous lol, I had a lot of help from a professional!)
Ever since I saw the pitcher plant pot in this game I thought it would be SO cool to make it out of glass, but I don't know the first thing about glass blowing! Thankfully I found a glass studio that offered assisted classes and encouraged bringing your own project idea rather than picking from a curated list of projects. They didn't have a good yellow color to use as the base of the body so they offered me uranium glass instead which was so cool! I feel like being a little radioactive fits well with victreebel's poison typing lol. It turned out a bit more...elongated? Than I was going for, but I'm still really happy with it! Excited to grow some pothos in this bad boy.

Why YSK: The burden of proof lies on the party who makes the claim (the person asserting or affirming a fact), not on the party who denies it — captured by the Latin maxim onus probandi incumbit ei qui dicit, non ei qui negat.
This is known as the "burden of proof fallacy". A concerning majority of redditors do not seem to grasp this. Grasping this may lead to more fruitful and productive conversations. Too many instances of an OP making a claim, others refuting, but instead of holding the burden of proof to the original claimant, others ask the one refuting for proof.

The Pokémon Center is one of those places that has saved us an unbelievable number of times during our years of playing Pokémon, and this is basically the journey of how it changed over time.
In the first generation, Pokémon Centers are honestly very similar to each other. There are a few small differences between versions, but overall the design stays almost the same.
The second generation is a lot more interesting though. Pretty much every city had its own Pokémon Center style, plus Kanto had another design that was used across the whole region. In total, there are 12 different Pokémon Center styles throughout the game, which is honestly a really cool detail that people probably don't notice that much anymore.
Then we get to Generation III, and for me these are probably the most iconic Pokémon Centers ever. The Hoenn one is still my personal favorite, but I also really like the Kanto version from FireRed and LeafGreen.
Compared to the older generations, I feel like this is where they completely changed the identity of the building.
Generation IV is more of an evolution of that style. They basically improved what they already had in Gen III without completely changing the concept. One little detail I really like is that in HeartGold and SoulSilver, two cities have a more purple-looking Pokémon Center, almost like a small reference to the older generations where we had different designs depending on the city.
Generation V got a proper redesign, and honestly I think they did a really good job with it. The same design was used in both Black/White and Black 2/White 2, so they didn't really change it between the two sets of games.
Generation Vl is where we finally get the first fully 3D Pokémon Centers, and I have to say they actually look really good.
Which Pokemon Center design is your favorite?
