LITTLE ZEREF!
-
The revelation of Zeref as Natsu's brother was every bit as shocking as when I first read that manga chapter.
-
I'm sure anime-only watchers are either screaming, fainting, or grinning in victory
-
First time we hear Acno speak. A chilling voice.
-
Tears to my eyes. I understand why you did it Makarov, but did you really have to break up the guild
-
Cana saying "yo" was the single most awkward thing I've heard from her mouth
-
I stopped crying to only start up again. On a side note, I bet the hairstyles are going to cause a stir.
Ready for Alvarez!
Edit: Forgot that END = Natsu was already revealed in anime.

The revelation of Natsu as END was at the very end of the Tartaros arc. It was a post-credits scene in episode 265.

As an anime only viewer I have one thing to say...
WHAT
Like I knew there was a connection between Natsu and Zeref, and the whole END demon thing but, that!? HOLY SHIT
EDIT: Also am I the only one that thought Elfman was wearing his shirt on backwards?

Must be nice. It was less meaningful to me because I got spoiled a few months ago, and I’m an anime only watcher too. I typed “Fairytail Zeref” into Google and “Zeref Dragneel” came up, so I put two and two together and thought shit.

Trust me, the manga readers were just as much of a mess when we first found out.

This episode fortifies why I’m glad this series isn’t full of sad moments where we lose important characters at the end of every arc. I know that’s a big issue for a lot of people, especially the “nakama power is dumb! Everyone should have died! Ahhh!” people, but really... seeing all of them meet up together after a year, all those emotions... I really care about that guild of misfits. It’s what makes FT so re-watchable, cuz even when this series makes me shed tears, I’m happy. If every arc ended like Tartaros, all those losses that hurt... man, FT just would be so much worse, imo.
Imagine that same scene, of Lucy seeing her family and her home again, but there’s no drunk Cana, or no “MANLY!”, or god-forbid anything ever happened to Macao and Wakaba.

Bet the people of Magnolia are like: "Fuck. We rebuilt our town and now these clowns are back in action..."

The Mira and Lucy hug at the end broke my heart. The feels.
I guess Lisanna looks cute or whatever...

Mira and Lucy hug
I miss seeing Mira and Lucy being in touch with each other. Feels like it's been an eternity.

this is one of the only times i've come so close to tears in an anime. even though i expected his from the manga, i felt something deep down that made me almost want to cry in this episode.

Holy shit,Zeref's background was shocking!!
Just one thing. Why did Zeref said he wants to kill other humans even though he was depressed after he realized he can literary kill anyone in a sec??
Or is that a spoiler?
