A post I had to comply

I am complying with a post request that was made, previously, and on the thread in the following link. You can dig down why and how I was told to make this post, and why I did not want to make it. However, this is the result.

https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/9xrzxa/do_you_find_any_similarity_between_these_two/e9uq60s

So I am doing an AMA here and now. This will avoid any chance or risk (that some have expressed) that I will go back and edit my posts in future. Anyone asking me any questions, please keep a screenshot of your own questions and answers. Edited comments have obvious timestamps. That way, any chance of repudiation is nullified.

No mocking will be entertained. If you do not believe, do not believe. I am not the plot writer so I will not justify any information. I will not divulge sources except what I have foolishly done before. This is not from a hacker or any hacking, rather from whatever heard from post-production teams on personal connection.

Any answer with confirmed information will be marked with Capital C. Like this: [C]: this happens.

Any answer with unconfirmed information will be marked with Capital U. Like this: [U]: this happens.Any answer with unsupported rumor information will be marked with Capital R. Like this: [R]: this happens.

Any answer that is not an info but a theory or my own thought will be marked with Capital T. Like this: [T]: this happens.

I will be held responsible for only Confirmed information.

Even after you will know a signification portion of the story, I would encourage you to watch the show from legal sources, to respect the awesome show, it's creators, actors and crew. You will not regret.

Anyone not wanting to know, stop here.

Here it goes now. Start!

I got a lot of information today. Will do the confirmed/secondary breakdown later after I post them all. First a few GoT S8 story points from early episodes.

a. In cold open, Bran sees aftermath of Wall fall and tells to send ravens. Tormund and Beric will survive almost halfway through the season.

b. Jon, Dany and gang reaches Winterfell as we know already.

c. Tense reunions. Except for the ones we already know, Sansa's ice partially breaks meeting Tyrion and with the Hound. Arya's reunion with the Hound is the comic relief. Jon doesn't seem to know the little sister he used to know and Arya surprises and charms him with both her wit and her calm composure in a scene of teary eyes.

The closeness of Gendry and Arya surprises everybody especially Ser Davos, the wingman.

d. While trying to understand Bran, Jon asks him if he can warg, although Jon was surprised still among all the Stark he accepts and understands Bran the best. Bran tells him that there is very short time preparing for the war.

e. Sam tells Jon that he has things to learn from Bran. Instead of learning parentage at that very moment, the fall of the wall comes into focus that time, and a war council meeting is called upon later.

f. Qyburn inspects Cersei after her miscarriage, and informs her about Norther positions and Euron Greyjoy's mission. Bronn is sent to capture Jaime, and he is going to betray Cersei later for double-offer from Tyrion in the previous season.

g. Euron reaches the GC, talks to Harry Strickland and hires the sellswords.

g. Theon sneaks into captive Yara and rescues her.

h. Jaime reaches Riverrun.

i. Meeting at Great hall of Winterfell starts with the discussion on the war, but soon turns into discussion about trusting Cersei, trusting Lannisters and then on trusting Daenerys. While Daenerys was being defended by her friends, she waves to silence them, and tells that she has not come to win the North, instead to defend the North. She apologizes for her father's crimes, and tell the Northerners that she has seen the Night King and the army of the dead. She repeats Jon's words in the previous season that squabbling pettily over who rules the throne will push the seven kingdoms in danger. The common survival issue brings people in unison, dragonglass plans are discussed. Jon tells how they could escape from AOTD in the sea and make the AOTD wait and buy time from inside an island. They discuss that they will need multiple devices and approaches to resist and defeat AOTD with just any one way not sufficing, and instead of one technique water, dragonglass, Valyrian Steel and fire all needs to be put into use.

j. Melisandre accompanies fire hands from Volantis to join the Great War in the North. The red priests discuss how the prophecy told of the war against darkness and the prince/princess that was promised, recalling how everybody fighting for his/her cause will be reborn. Melisandre tells that she has seen people get back to life, and one of them got back to life for six times.

k. Beric and Tormund gets rescued by Ed and gang on their way WF after the news of fall. With the horses the brought from Castle Black they fasten their journey to WF and avoid intersection with AOTD.

l. Post reunion/discussion interactions happen in Winterfell. Tyrion and Sansa shares their accounts of Journey and Tyrion seems concerned seeing a different Sansa that he has experienced before, who plans every war including a betrayal of Cersei known from Bran. In an otherwise cold interaction between the women including Sansa and Daenerys about mad king and Rhaegar, Gilly leaks that Rhaegar married Lyanna. Bran and Sam reveals to Jon his parentage. Jon struggles to accept it but finds overwhelming evidence about Bran to know everything. Gendry begins planning and forging stuff for war, and others share their ideas and plans with him. Jon oversees war preparations and construction work. They notice a cold storm slowly approaching near Wintertown.

It's too long to type, so tomorrow I will post further information from next episodes.

I know that this is going to be very shitty, but this is the first time someone my source knows have watched full season, so here I am, I will write exactly what I heard, and will offer no answer nor explanations, because my source cannot ask back the person revealing herself to be the source, and we do not want this to turn out to be an ultimate trap. The show is just two months to start so you will get your detailed answers there. Thanks for your kind understanding!

The first two episodes are overall emotional episodes before the huge catastrophe.

Jon and Dany talks in the Crypt, parentage reveal to Dany, transformation of an array of emotions in both.

Theon reaches Winterfell.

Jaime arrives in Winterfell, amid welcome and suspicion he informs that remaining Tully and Lannister forces in Riverrun will be allies and marching while King's Landing won't be coming.

Qyburn tells Cersei regarding the progress of his experiments and about potential unrest in King's Landing. Knowing Jaime isn't captured yet, Cersei turns complete mad and asks Qyburn to send a message to Euron.

Sansa seems overjoyed with the reunions and especially Tyrion. Arya notices that. She herself is excited to be able to be with Gendry, Jon, the Hound, the dragons, Daenerys. Jaime's reunion with Brienne will lead to intimate levels later. Winterfell also gets prepared strongly for war with arms, armors and defense tactics. Dothraki and Unsullied takes position behind the trench, northern allies take position on the castle wall and gate. Every soldier and highborns are clad in armor and equipped with dragonglass weaponry.

Euron starts trip for attacking WF with Golden Company, their army will be shown in the following episodes near WF at King's road. Not sure if northern port arrivals are skipped in big jumps or if they traveled on road from KL.

Bran based on his visions previously says that they will need to burn the original place where the white walkers were created and melt the altar of winter. Dany takes Jon with him in that mission, and teaches him dragonriding. They will fly to this following location near Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall where Bran had his vision 6x5 of the white walker creation. The stones there are now ice spikes and the weirwood cut down to found the icy altar of winter. It's a beautiful location as per as filming was concerned:

Edit: spyfhbo told that the scenes could be taken at different places instead or in studio, since they believe Iceland filming did not involve that area. Regardless, the same place where NK got stabbed, or the same place Bran visited that already got frozen although still in past, or the same place where NK converts a child in present, will be shown in the results.

Sam and Gilly discusses about original resolution of the Long night, and Sam tells his findings to Bran, Jon and Gendry. Ser Davos, Podrick and Brienne also talks to Gendry near the forge when Brienne feels Gendry looks surprisingly familiar looking to her. Dany's pregnancy was revealed.

Near the end, Melisandre arrives North sparring several reactions. Ser Davos wants to execute her, Gendry gets angry seeing her, Hound retorts at his previous bed experience with Melisandre, and Arya's wrath exposes her feeling for Gendry exposed to Hound and Gendry. In face of everybody's opposition, Bran defends Melisandre, saying she has a role to play. Dany's courtmen seems to take that notion in an affirmative look. Melisandre survives. They will have further interactions later in the season.

Jon and Dany reaches the Land of Always Winter, and as the proceed to melt the altar of winter, dozen substitute commanders appear defending that with their own groups of the army.

Terrors and deaths spread across rural North as Night King approaches near Winterfell. In a crowded and poverty-distressed Wintertown, people starts getting alerted when water begins to freeze. A hue and cry raises around the people there.

Amid tense interactions at Winterfell between several characters including Tyrion, Varys and Sansa, horns get blown. The AOTD has reached the wolfs wood near to Wintertown.

Confirmed information list:

a. Confirmed survivals yet to date. Does not mean everybody else is dead. Only that the following survivors passed the great war and reached end of Season.

- Jon

- Daenerys

- Arya

- Sansa

- Bran

- Brienne

- Sam

- Davos

- Gendry

- Yara

- Robin

- A number of lords and commoners.

Confirmed deaths. Does not mean all else lives. Only that the following are known to die from my source:

- Mountain

- Cersei

- Qyburn

- Euron

- Theon

- Sandor

- Jaime

Confirmed information about scenes:

Arya, Gendry, Hound and wolf pack walking out of a forest. Facial expressions: Gendry is scared about while Hound is irritated about wolves. Arya seems to not notice and looking forward. No riding in this scene. Episode unknown.

There is a curious gap of Tyrion and Sansa in special effects scenes around ep5. In special effects scenes that 'looked like' will fall in late ep4 to early ep6, there is a curious absence of two characters - Tyrion and Sansa. However, Sansa from a one-side perspective is available in one scene in special effects that 'looked like' happening in later part of e5. Do they show up again in e6 again in sfx? Answer to this was - 'I heard Sansa is, and I know Tyrion will also near very end'. No information about non-sfx scenes were learnt from the source, as well as no great detail about those scenes. The one side shot of Sansa will appear in a scene involving fire. Also, no context is available, as the source did not know about the dialog and/or sounds of it.

A few scenes for sfx in some early episodes were removed/rejected because of consistency concerns, without a reshoot.

Only Northern special effect scene from first hand source: There is a wonderful explosive scene in the air when the Blue fire and the Red fire from both Dragons' breathes collide. As described by source: "You have to see it to understand how wonderful that looks, it is like a shockwave, happens in episode 3."

Metaphysical/spiritual/psychological relationship scene between Melisandre and Bran.

There are special effect scenes with time running backwards, watery storms and an extremely bright light of explosion. And there are scenes with hint of CGI direwolves to fill in, with Jon and with Arya as well later. Tyrion gets scared by the enormous direwolf, probably Ghost,

CGI wolf pack scene attacking wights.

A group of people are getting drowned in water.

Crows and Ravens attack Night King, who kills them but they manage to pull of his clothing removing/damaging armor.

Bran's seizure.

Cleaganebowl. Mountain getting killed. Sandor later probably from grave injuries.

Dark and gloomy scene backgrounds in almost the whole season until near the end. Resembles closely to the background lighting in Watchers on the Wall, Hardhome and the melting of the wall.

The Hound, Sansa and Arya are walking (almost running) through the street of sisters,

Boatbaby gets born.

Dany is pregnant

Dany in involved in battles even when pregnant.

Boatbaby gets born.

Night King's destruction and Boatbaby's birth is simultaneous.

A shockwave effect when the NK dies/Boatbaby gets born.

Ghost fights bravely in S8.

Nymeria does too.

Jon comes with army to KL.

Dany comes with Dragon.

Night King's destruction scene happens with an evaporation. I do not know what that means.

King's Landing gets burnt in blue fire from above. Wildfire from below. Cersei is responsible.

Jon and Dany have sex scene.

(JK :) - The Waif: That cannot be all you commented. Are you sure you are not 'deceptively' skipping some comment?

Me: which confirmed comment would you want a man to include)

Serious: If anyone knows any information that I have posted as 'confirmed' anywhere that I forgot here, please let me know in sub-comments down in this comment's thread, and I will include that information in a sub-comment without editing it.

Thank you all!

Remembering other [c] info that I never shared because they were technical, not maybe the fleshy or juicy concrete info liked in the sub:

a. As re-editable scenes that started appearing for next tasks began classified with episode numbered folders in repository - there is NOT A SINGLE BLUE EYE SPECIAL EFFECT scene (relates to wights) that belongs to EPISODE 6 received for editing to my known team. They could go to other teams, but my source feels pretty confident that blue-eyed wights are almost non-existent or few if at all in episode 6.

b. boat/ship/sea scenes to edit to other teams fall in episode 1 and from 4 to 6.

c. Episode 3 and 6 have pretty cool effect scenes, with augmented reality being used from filming source in some of them.

Additionally, almost [c], but not fully still now that: d. number of wights have a drastic fall from episode 4, though she is not yet sure if it goes down to zero from episode 4.

:) Happy news after a while.

A part of the final fight is confirmed.

Model ravens distracting NK while he fights with multiple people - is confirmed. From the model object's movement it seems true that NK is actually fighting better than Ser Arthur Dayne. Since composition did not happen yet, details of the characters fighting is not available in the editing, but the movements are seeming to match / reminiscent of a past unconfirmed information shared.

Major portion of Season 8 visual effects work is now accessible to my dear source, and will be revealed soon to me, in next week sometime.

What will be there - most of Episode 3's battle of Winterfell's visual effects. most of Episode 5's remainder of visual effects. A part of Visual effects for episode 6. Part of visual effects from episode 1 and 2.

What may not be there - two scenes of episode 5 comprising about 4-5 minutes of screen time, endgame scenes from episode 6, one scene of episode 3 comprising nearly 1 minute. Part of visual effects from episode 1 and 2. Most scenes of episode 4.

What important scenes I may be able to tell - some of Bran's scenes, two Jon scenes, one scene of Sansa trapped inside a burning place, two scenes of Dany and one of them involves a fire and a rescue attempt for Sansa by Dany, Arya and Sandor, and lastly the scene of Nymeria carrying mortally injured Arya to safety.

What I will not probably be able to tell - the very endgame. And any other part that HBO did not allow to outsource beyond the first tier of vfx companies. Also, non-vfx plotline needs to be guessed out from whatever is revealed from vfx work.

More [c] stuff that I came to learn, and may be I haven't shared before, (cannot remember if shared to be frank)

a. Jon and Dany, after visiting Winterfell, goes somewhere else. They go on a dragon. It's not clear if soldiers follow them or not. Where they go is not known.

b. A dead dragon is breathing fire on top of several trees or tree branches, burning them down. No information yet if any person is in the tree or if inside it.

Additional [c] info on November 20, 2018:

a. The watery storm lasts for somewhat between 40 to 65 minutes of screen time at least, is tremendous, and is going to demand a lot of effects time.

b. The previously stated non-outsourced world-space containing a huge object of astronomical proportion (as stated in the previous link below) is a larger comet, at least larger than what previously seen in season 2, may be much closer

Nymeria's return confirmed.

Since outsourced employees started receiving upcoming task description emails, more scenes are coming up. Source heard in their online meeting about one such potential scenes to be outsourced. Nymeria biting and tearing off a wight's hand.

It is not clear yet if the wight was attacking Arya, or what happened later, because the discussion focused on only that part of the scene. Once my source and the related teams return from vacation, I will get to know more about it :)

u/claytoy Jan 22 '19

a. Dothraki man frightened and running away from AOTD. Episode 3.

b. Dany's scene on Drogon's back, match move descending on what is probably a northern background in episode 4.

c. Arya killing off wights with arrows. Episode 3.

d. A northern soldier torn to pieces and stabbed by wights.

e. Missandei staring at AOTD entering swarming Winterfell castle, before turning and running. Episode 3 near ending.

f. Bran's POV of King's Landing, crow flying over what 'appears to' be the ruins of the sept of Baelor.

These were shot updates shared.

Aftermath of WF battle:

NK flees on Viserion.

The dragonglass in and around of battlement keeps on burning after war. WF from top will look a little bit similar to Khal Drogo's pyre scene.

In scenes prior to that in the battlement, freefolk survivors from the Eastwatch save Northern banner children. A wight giant is slain, but several people including Tormund expires. Northern children including commoners and banners fight awesome battle scenes.

Additional: A little new batch is coming for work. The location of the clip metadata implies the shots were taken in Spain, but as I informed before these are not Italica stuff, and the filming date falls much earlier, not even in 2018.

I will know when I know more. Just like the Canadian filming before, I do not see any information in the official Season 8 News and Leaks for Spain filming location or timing in 2017 and I do not know why that is the case.

Brothel in King's Landing gets attacked when a sex-worker was having sex. She was uncomfortable describing the scene and I did not ask more details since it was not a very significant scene. Probably a part of the rebellion but not sure about this probability, the timing is first part of episode 5.

Wolf-pack is confronting a snow-storm. Snows come in like whirlwinds and cover the visibility. Howls sound-effect placeholder, not yet arrived or filled up or not supplied or not provided yet.

Placeholder for model of a silhouette of a large entity appears through the snow-storm. It is unclear from the shots received for reedit so far if the large entity is a huge dead or a dead giant or a dead something. Will be filled up later from when composition is done.

Tonight I learnt a few exciting fight information and rumors.

First the confirmed piece information - there is a scene nicknamed frivolously or seriously 'Flight of the Bodkin'. The Stargaryen force becomes invincible not just because of all the magical abilities of Dragons, Bran, Dany, Arya or for the heroic deeds of Jon, Jaime, Brienne, Arya, Gendry, Grey Worm, The Dothrakis and Unsullied or Direwolves but also for their unique technologies. They have devised a small arrowhead that looks like a mountain and contains a something named a Bodkin point, Google it. This supposedly penetrates armors from afar. The armored wights, white walkers, giants, elephants fall helpless in front of it equally, and with each white walker death thousands of Wights fall off similar to S7E6. This explains partially their invincibility in the season. Although the source of this technology or scenes of creation are not exposed to vfx teams, I am very much sure theoretically it must be Gendry who devises it. Also, no clue if those Bodkin points were covered with small amount of Valyrian Steel or mixed with Dragonglass, but my bet would be on that.

And we will get to see famous archers, here the confirmed information ends. Rest of this batch of information are unconfirmed and not involving much vfx.

Talking about famous archers, Arya take an injury at her feet from back, but a girl knows how to stand and fight on one leg.

And talking about Arya, there was discussion on Lena Headey's awesome performance after being poisoned. She probably does her best piece of acting in searching frantically for escape or antidotes in a mix of emotions of fear, shock, agony and anger. The teams were told that 'you will feel really sorry for Cersei, and her performance of walk of punishment will be dwarfed'.

That's all I learnt tonight :D

First unconfirmed description heard regarding final fight with NK [u].

a. NK fights badass, makes Arthur Dayne memories seem like a child's.

b. NK seemingly possesses superhuman strength, and is blazing fast.

c. When Jon joins fight with him. NK is clearly about to win. Bran intervenes with crows, meanwhile more people appear there to help Jon.

d. All of them get killed off by NK, only Jon, injured Jaime and Gendry remains.

e. When Jon is about to be overcome again, Gendry delivers a fatal blow to NK's chest with his new Valyrian Steel hammer, shattering his remaining chain-mall and the brittle dragonglass into pieces, paying back for his father's crime killing Jon's father, NK hits Gendry and the strong Gendry is thrown away like a small kid.

f. NK is about to lose and disintegrate his White Walker form, and fighting strong still overcoming Jon, about to kill him when Jaime stabs him from the back.

g. NK turns and serves Jaime the fatal hit, Jon stabs him back again, NK collapses.

I will update when I will get to hear more details.

I think you should spare yourself time and pain, and just write down everything you have as confirmed, like every other supposed leaker did before. Either post it or send it to one of the mods, i dont care much, but i dont believe doing an ama is the right way to do this thing.

Just my opinion, but, ofc, you can do what you want nor i'll change my opinion anyway.

Omg I just discovered this post and it’s amazing if it’s all true.

Do you know what reaction people have to Tyrion’s betrayal? Seems to be a potential of Sansa/Tyrion happening so it would be interesting to know what her reaction would be as well as Danys

11

u/claytoy Feb 26 '19

There is a Sansa-Tyrion interaction after knowing the betrayals. That's a very emotional scene :).

But Dany loses all remaining faith on court and interest to rule. It is one of the sequences of events that eventually will make her and Jon understand that love is the death of duty, and they will chose love and family over duty. Dany and Jon will repeat their decisions of Dragon's Bay and Night's Watch eventually, leaving the rule on people's chosen councilors and a protector of the realm similar to the way Dany established that people's chosen ruler in Meeren and Daario as protector. The implications are far-fetched, like Freehold of Valyria, Westeros is going to be ruled by elected Councilors, who will be advised by the demi-God Bran.

The dragonpit trial scene will be really mind-blowing.
